    On January, 2015,  a roof vent began leaking, causing water to drip on my ceiling.  Although, it didn't damage the drywall, I could hear an occasional "ticking" sound in the hallway during heavy rain.   I performed an attic inspection, and confirmed one of my roof vents was leaking.  On performing a review on Angie's List, I contacted A-1, and received a prompt response.  The representative arrived and inspected the vent, and then provided a statement of work and materials with a quote.  I agreed to the work, an estimated date was established, and work was competently completed ahead of schedule.  This included all new stack collars.  This past April, two more of the remaining original vents failed, and I requested a quote to just go ahead and replace all of them.  The original vents were vinyl.  I was provided a quote for replacement of all the existing vents to be replaced with more durable aluminum vents.  Again, cost was competitive, and work was completed ahead of schedule.  The employee completing the work both times maintained a professional appearance and manner; was communicative; and was well organized. 
    Since these repairs were completed, this area has experienced several heavy sustained rainfalls; and the roof has remained leak-free.  
    This company exemplifies the best when it comes to competence, and executing good business practices.

    When we moved to Southwest Missouri in 2005, we chose to live in a rural area near Springfield. The only internet provider in this area was the phone company, by using dial-up at very slow data rates.  DSL was not available, since we were located too far from a switch location.  Wireless data plans via cellular were not available then, and Satellite communications options were too restrictive and expensive at the time.  I contacted a wireless company I had heard about in Springfield called Total Wireless that was just starting up the beginning of 2006.  They mounted a radio antenna on my house that pointed to their Nixa location, and began providing broadband service to my home.  Since then, they have gone through many technology transitions, and eventually became Total Highspeed Internet with their offices now in Nixa, MO. 
    This company has  provided reliable consistent internet service to my home since that time.  They have been communicative through the years, and continue to provide a great service to the rural community in this area.  Although their rates may not be competitive with those providers in metro areas, probably due to lack of population density, they have not changed their rates since the first day of service over 8-years ago.  I have spoken with their techs over the phone, and at my home, during equipment upgrades, as well as with their staff when stopping by their office while in Nixa, and I have always been met with a courteous, prompt, and professional response. 
    Even though new cellular and satellite technologies have become available, Total Highspeed has not gotten involved with playing the confusing and constantly changing tiered rate and data cap marketing games. They simply continue to provide reliable service with no data limits, or marketing gimmicks, at consistent rates. I have no reason or desire to go anywhere else.

    I was awful. We haven't used Sears since. The service guys that came were great. They were very nice, but Sears lied about the cost. It was a nightmare. It's horrible service. They wouldn't take my credit card over my phone. It cost $45 to look at my washing machine to tell me it was going to cost $100 to fix it. I tell everyone not to use Sears. The service guys were nice but Sears business practices were bad. The quality of the work by the service guys was good.
