  • He did a fantastic job. Returned calls promptly and accommodated my schedule. Completed job in part of a day. Our tub looks Great. Very reasonable cost. Provided a warrantee and list of best ways to care for the tub. Also replaced drain and overflow. Polished surrounding walls. I have already recommended to a friend and she has him scheduled to redo her tub. Highly recommend.

  • We had them paint our entire condo and do repair work on the plaster. They did a fantastic job. They stripped off years of old paint on window sills where needed and gave the place such a clean fresh look. We received lots of compliments on the new look. We also had them do repair work on another plaster ceiling and you could not tell there had been an issue. They were prompt in response time and cleaned up afterwards. After our new counters were installed, they were prompt in getting back and repairing the walls and painting where needed. We cannot sing their praises enough! We have already recommended them to friends.

  • The Friday that they did the job, it rained heavily that afternoon. When I looked at the driveway Saturday morning there were large areas where the old unsealed driveway was visible. (I learned that the sealant lis water based and not oil based as I originally thought.) I called Metro on Monday, they were out Tuesday to redo the job. I give them credit for promptly doing the job I expected even though the rain was beyond their control.

  • The movers that moved our house were fantastic! Very professional and the guys worked their tails off. They handled some old furniture very carefully and didn’t damage a thing. I will hire them in a heartbeat!

  • Although J&J Masonry already has a ton of positive reviews, I feel the need to post one as well because they were THAT good. These are the guys you want to hire! They are honest, trustworthy and hard-working. They did exactly what the said they would do, exactly when they said they would do it; and they did quality work. They paid close attention to detail and took great care and pride in their work. They built 9 6ft brick pillars with caps for a fence project I was having done. They did a beautiful job and it was a pleasure to work with them. I highly recommend J&J Masonry. This is the company you are hoping to find by reading these reviews!

  • Fabulous job!! I didn't realize how much our house needed it -- but it SPARKLED when they finished!! Very kind and professional. Too bad this form doesn't have an option for A+ .... they deserve it. Thank you Complete Power Washing STL!!

  • Called 6 times, left messages, never heard back. Finally tracked down Super Dave’s workers at my neighbor’s house, and asked why they put up signs with their number on it if they never planned to call people back. They said they would talk to super Dave and he would call me. That was two months ago and I still haven’t heard from him.

  • Andrew sent his team out very promptly when I needed work done. The gutters on my old house, which is a large size and 2 stories, were leaking and overflowing. The crew checked all gutters for integrity and did not need to do any repairs, but they did clean out all gutters and checked downspout operation. He found a blockage in one downspout that he referred to a drain cleaning specialist. I can't say enough about Andrew's responsive via phone and email which is so rare these days with contractors. He is the real deal.

  • This company took over the business from our initial realtor/property manager. Not sure how long the sale was in the works but notification was only about 30 days for change. New tenant had moved in a week prior to the change in companies. When I received a notice of lease ending 2 weeks after RW took over I contacted them to make sure they had the new contract on file. I was assured they did. Well the following week I received the same email again. This time I did not reply. I had emailed the person who I was informed would be our “new property manager” a couple of time for purpose of introduction and to make sure she was aware of some significant maintenance issues that had just risen. The silence was deafening..... finally I emailed this “So as our property manager what can we expect from you? Previously our property manager communicated with us on any matters pertaining to our property and worked with the condo board/condo manager when necessary. He had physically been to our property, and performed pre and post inspections. We live out of the country and he would email for any issues, well aware of the 7 hour time difference. Our tenants knew how to contact him as well. They also had the online sites to request services if some thing needed to be repaired.” The reply I received: Our Client Services team takes care of most issues, questions, concerns etc., and both the Tenants and Homeowners can reach out to them at any time. I think the website is easiest because you can input all your questions and contact info directly through the site but some prefer calling. Its whatever you or the tenants prefer. Our previous management also had after hours and online submission for repair requests....but they had a personal touch and would have reached out in the current situation. This is a property that rents for greater than $2300 per month. About 10 days after the company change a near catastrophe occurred with the AC going out as St. Louis was 90+ for a high rise facing east! To compound things the replacements had to be special ordered and would not arrive for weeks. Never once did the assigned “property manager” contact myself or the tenants even though they were cc’d on every email to tenants and HVAC. RW charges a flat fee of $90 per month no matter what the rent.....and I think you get barely that returned. The name of the company should clue one into the type of company and service you will get.

  • I had selected Averill Heating & Air Conditioning to get an estimate because of their good ratings on Angie's list. Setting up an appointment went quickly and they called 10mins prior to showing up as they had said they would. The estimator appeared competent, but unlike others was not able to provide an initial estimate on the spot. He had to go back to his office to put it together. He also mentioned that because they were a smaller firm, they would not be able to schedule anything until about a month out, though they may be able to come up with a temporary solution to get our system working while we would be waiting for a new system. I told them that this may be OK, but that I needed an estimate quickly as I wanted to finalize a decision rapidly. I gave them my email address and was told that they would be emailing me the estimate within a couple of days. Three days later, I had not received anything and so left a message on Angie's list as well as called them to let them know that I was going to make a decision the next day and would need their estimate in order to be able to consider them. The person I spoke to said he would make sure to let the owner know. Well, I am still waiting for that estimate and went ahead with another firm. I can appreciate that they may have felt they may not be able to be competitive for the job, but then the professional thing to do is to acknowledge it and state that you won't be able to provide an estimate. Because they were not upfront about it, i had to finalize a decision with less information than I ideally wanted to have. I don't think this is representative of professional behavior, and therefore cannot recommend them.
