    He started by replacing the screen door. He hung it out of square but he denied there was a problem and made no effort to fix it. I insisted and finally the door was re-hung by one of his crew. He power-washed and sealed the deck. The product he used has sand in it, which I didn't know and it feels gritty when I'm barefoot. Densing told me to rent a small dumpster from a particular company, which I did. There was a lot of junk and trash in the basement, accumulated over 30 years, and he worked hard to haul everything up and out to the dumpster. My husband's workshop was of particular concern to me; I asked him to set aside anything that looked to be in usable/good condition so I could look at it. Unfortunately, he didn't do that, but just put it all in the dumpster, so I have no idea what was thrown out. I also needed to rent a second dumpster, which may not have been necessary if he'd done a better job estimating what he'd need. There were unanticipated problems in the basement, which were necessary but costly repairs. Densing required payment in advance for any supplies, plus 60% of the total when he started. There was mold in the drywall and in the insulation behind it. He said he would treat that, put up a vapor barrier, new insulation and new drywall. All of that was taken care of - it looks good and there is no odor. We also found quite a few cracks in the foundation walls, which he said he could repair with an epoxy-resin sealer. I did get another opinion and estimate and decided to have K4 do the work. Densing said he would give me a receipt and documentation that would satisfy any prospective buyer, if I decide to sell the house. I'd also like to mention that Densing and his workers used my refrigerator to store their soft drinks and went into my kitchen cabinets for glasses. Without asking or obtaining my permission. Densing suggested I replace the 2 basement windows and asked for the money to order them, nearly $500. I've heard a couple of different stories about why he hasn't gotten or installed the windows, but he did not reply when I asked for a refund. Work was also left undone after installation of a drain under a flagstone and gravel walkway in the backyard. The work was sloppy; a lot of the gravel disappeared and it's now too low (didn't replace enough soil) and the flagstones are so poorly set that some rock and none are the correct distance apart for anyone's stride. The chimney needed some tuckpointing Densing said, but the result is a sloppy job. No one has returned to fix anything, in spite of promises. I'm especially concerned because I have not received ANY paper work from K-4. I do not have contracts or receipts for the work done. He did not provide the documentation for the repair of the foundation cracks, as promised. He will not respond to phone calls or texts and has apparently instructed his crew to do the same. They've moved on to a bigger project and I don't expect to see or hear from them again. Although the workmanship, for the most part, was of good quality (with some re-do's), Densing's manipulative manner and boastful attitude were problems. He spoke derisively about everyone he has worked for, especially the owner of the paint company for whom he was working when he started his off-the-books work for me. I should have been more careful, but all of his talk put me off-guard, as he intended, and I foolishly thought he was trustworthy. He requested that I make all checks payable to his girlfriend, not to him or to the company. Although I know it's a huge red flag that something isn't legitimate about him or the company, I paid his girlfriend. I would not recommend K-4 Konstruction or Mark Densing to anyone.

    The biggest problem we encountered with Helitech was their customer service/office staff. On the first day we were told the crew would arrive between 8 and 9 AM. We had to call when no one showed up. We were now told that they would not be able to get here until noon. We had specifically arranged our schedule so that we would be home in the AM. A simple phone call and we could have proceeded with our morning plans and been home at noon. They arrived at 2:30PM and left at 3:30PM. The job was done between 12/20 and 12/28/2017 and was completed in the amount of time as discussed. The piering was finished but the restoration of our property had to be put on hold until the weather improved. They still had to patch the concrete patio and put the dirt back in the 16 holes and grade/seed the ground. On 02/27/2018 we called the office to see if we could get on the schedule for the concrete and grading work. They said they would check and call us back. On 03/31/2018 we called again since we did not receive a call back. They wanted to know what still needed to be done. They couldn't find our records. We emailed the Incomplete Job Form to them. Concrete work was scheduled for a week later and was completed. Grading/Seeding still had to wait due to all the rain the region was experiencing. Called on 04/06/2018, 11 AM, to see if we could get the grading scheduled. No answer, left message, no return call. Called on 04/09/2018, 12:03 PM, spoke with Sommer. She will call us back tomorrow. 04/10/2018 3:12 PM Sommer called back to say they could not do the grading due to rain coming in the next couple of days. 04/16/2018 2:25 PM called to see if they could schedule us to do the grading. Left message, no return call. 04/17/2018 10:25 AM called again, spoke with Sommer. She said we would get a call back that day or the next. No return call. Called 04/20/2018 2:35 PM, Sommer said they would be out the next day to grade. They did arrive the next day to do the grading. However, the did not have a tamping tool to tamp down the area where the Air Conditioner was to be move back to. 04/23/2018 called to find out about getting the AC area tamped down. Received return call on 04/24/2018 and were told they would be out on 04/24/2018 to tamp down the ground for AC. Two guys showed up on that day and did a great job getting the ground ready for our AC to be put back in to place. 05/01/2018 When we were meeting with a contractor to discuss a new concrete patio we noticed that two bolts were left sticking out of the ground from the piers. We called Sommer right away and left a message as they would need to be cut down before they could do concrete work which we scheduled for 06/04/2018. On 05/02/2018 Sommer called back and said they would be out to take care of it. On 05/14/2018 we emailed Sommer to remind her that the bolts still needed to be cut down before our scheduled concrete work. 05/15/2018 Sommer emailed back to say she would be calling or emailing us this week with the expected day they would be out. 05/24/2018 emailed Sommer again since we never heard back. 05/29/2018 called Sommer since she never called or emailed again. We were told we were on the schedule for 06/01/2018. 06/01/2018 at 4:20 PM we call since no one had shown up yet. This was Friday afternoon and the concrete work was to begin that following Monday morning. Sommer was not in the office, spoke with Flo and we were told we were not on their schedule, that they could come out sometime next week. We explained that was not acceptable as the concrete work was to begin on Monday. Flo told me she would tell John and he would be in touch. 06/04/2018 Started calling their office at 7 AM. Finally, at 8:38 AM Sommer answered the phone. We were told someone would be out around 10 AM that morning. Someone did show up and cut the bolts. We are satisfied with the work performed. However, dealing with the office staff, mainly Sommer, was extremely frustrating and unpleasant. FYI: We were forced to select either yes or no on would we hire again. We are really undecided but that is not an option. We are selecting yes, however, depending on their office staff at the time, that could change to a no. We did not want to punish the company as a whole due to one bad actor.

    I called three companies and each gave me comparable price but I ended up using this company. They are very professional and personable. We were very satisfied. I have a friend who's a Realtor and saw the work of this company and she said they did an excellent an job.

    Great company. They came in and fixed what another company was unable to do. Did what they said and came when scheduled. Service was above and beyond. It is run by a wonderful family. You can tell they take pride their work.

    I would give this company 0 stars if I could. They were the most unprofessional and rude people we have ever dealt with. They were recommended by our realtor so we hired them a month and a half in advance. They came and did the bid and we asked about pulling up the carpet in the basement and told them we are getting rid of it anyways. They said not to worry about it, they could do that beforehand. They wrote in the contract that the only thing we needed to do before they came back was to install a new outlet so we did that. They said they would come between 8:30 to 9 the day of the job so we had our sister in law at our house to greet them. They showed up an hour late. They went into the basement and immediately came back up and said they were refusing to do the job because we didn't pull the carpet up. She said she could go down and do that for them and they said no we need to get to another job. We were booked all day so I'm not sure what other job they had to get to. She said well can you at least call the owner and let them know, and they said they would get in touch with us. We never heard from them and kept calling. We finally got ahold of someone around noon which was the owner. He was extremely rude and said they would never have told us or written in the contract that we didn't need to pull the carpet up beforehand. Then he said they can't come back for another 1.5 months. We had an appointment to get the new carpet next week then were going to list the house for sale. These guys completely screwed us over and every other company is at least a 6 week wait. Do not use these people if you want good service.

    These guys showed up and filled the crack in about an hour. I have waited for several months before I left feedback. We have had many heavy rain storms and winter weather with melting snow. The job was done fast and I have seen no water anywhere. Very good job.

    Chris Pate and his men were extremely professional and thorough. It was a big project and took about two weeks to complete. My basement is finished and while the majority of the work was done in the unfinished portion - there were a couple finished walls that had to come down. They were respectful and tried to keep the debris to a minimum. In addition to the foundation work, Chris had to return and do some additional waterproofing in the basement. I think they did a really great job and I'm confident in the work they did. I would recommend Structural Restoration to anyone in need of foundation repair or waterproofing. Before I had Chris come out, I had contacted Helitech - but the representative from Helitech was not nearly as thorough in his evaluation of the foundation and was considerably more expensive.

    Atlas sent out Erik who was their crack injector specialist. I explained the history of the crack and he told me what he was going to do. As he progressed he told me what he was finding which shed some light on the quality of the previous repairs. The repair took 3 hours including clean up. Erik was also knowledgeable about the likely reasons for my leaks - overflowing gutters and cracks in the patio allowing water to travel to the foundation crack. Since I have now fixed those problems with the sources of the water and I have gotten a quality crack repair I do not expect to have any more leakage. Considering their professional approach and that a full three hours of work was required, I feel that I got a super deal.

    This was the second time Quackers provided services at our residence and as expected, everything went smoothly. My phone call requesting service was returned in a timely manner. Ted came to our house and was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. After fixing the first leak, Ted pointed out another potential leak I should watch for, which ended up becoming a problem and why I contracted their services for a second time. As far as I am concerned, whenever I have a leak, I will be calling Quackers. I have already referred them to family and friends.

    I highly recommend Rob Theisen and his company Crack Attack Repairs.  I was worried about the potential water damage due to heavy rains. Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions. He explained the whole repair process and provided lifetime warranty for his work. He was very reasonable in pricing compared to his competitors. On the day of our appointment he arrived on time and got to work promptly. I would definitely use this company again, and recommend to others.
