    Contacted Vance by telphone and left message. He called me back within 2 hours and determined that the heating element would have to be ordered and he would let me know when it came it. He called back approximately 5 days later and we set an installation appointment. He gave me the option of installing the element myself, but I chose to have him install it. He showed up on time and had the element installed within 15 minutes. He was very polite and professional. His fees are very reasonable and he is a reliable person. I used him last year to repair a freezer and he demonstrated the same qualities during that transaction.

    THEY CAME TO MY HOME SAID THEY ORDERED A PART. NEVER CALLED ME BACK TO REPAIR IT. HAD TO CALL THEM THREE TIMES. KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS ON BACK ORDER. MY DISHWASHER'S TIME RAN OUT ON WARANTY. THEN THEY SAID THEY HAD NEVER CAME TO MY HOME AND ORDERED THE PART.

    Clark Appliance was provided to me by my Lowe's Extended Warranty Plan we purchased for our GE front load washer. They came on May 5, 2009, determined the gasket was bad and informed me they would order one. Two weeks passed (with no contact from them) and I called to check the status of the order. I was informed that they were not sure of the order status, and they would let me know when it arrived. Another week passed. I called several more times, and was unable to reach them (the phone just rang and rang). In the first week of June I reached their office, and was told (in a most impolite fashion) there had been some confusion because there was more than one person in their system with the same last name as mine. And the part wasn?t in. On June 15, I received a courtesy call from a Lowe?s Service Advisor who informed me they had received an email parts order from Clark?s on June 13. This is a full month after their service call to my home. I was livid, and called Lowe's Customer Service (for the 5th time). Since I had little success contacting Clarks, a Lowe's Service Advisor called for me, and was able to reach the office where they were told the part had been ordered. It was not until June 22nd that my part was installed. Now I am normally a patient person, and if I am informed of the status of something, I can remain satisfied that my situation is being addressed and I have not fallen through the cracks. But to ignore my calls, forget to order my part, and be generally impolite is a situation which I, as a paying consumer, should not have to tolerate. Although there were no out of pocket expenses since this was covered by our Warranty, we spent a small fortune going to the laundromat for 6 weeks. Their handling of my service call was unprofessional and inept to say the least, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
