I think they do an okay job. I haven't compared their price with anybody else, but I don't like $90 a month. I'm thinking about changing service. The people that ran the company before, which were the Miller's, they were just friendly and I really enjoyed talking to them. These people I don't think they are friendly to me. The thing that kind hacked me off, I don't know if fthey got this from when I was using the Miller's or not. They just started putting fertilizer in my yard. They never asked me if I wanted to get that started. They just started putting it in my yard the first of the year, and they sent me a bill.I need fertilizer anyway, but that was a little persumptive, and they started billing me. I was not pretty thrilled about that.

    Anderson Surveying

They showed up after 9 AM, they couldn't read the lot plot they brought with them. All 3 of them went to the court house to look up the legal's on the lot. They came back 2 hr later, said they couldn't get any thing from the court house. I gave them a copy of the survey that I was contesting, they found the 4 corner markers, then they said they would have to talk to there boss and return the next day, they never marked out the south property line or the encroachment. That property line is over 500 long and drops 150 ft in elev.

. They were at my location from after 9AM to 3PM, All 3 of them left for 2 HR, I was charged for 7.5 HR at $150.00 an hr. They did not mark the prop line at my driveway and did not survey the road encroachment on the lot next to me. This was what I was paying them for. They came unperpared to do the job and the didn't care what I wanted. I am out $1125.00 Have nothing to show but the 4 corner markers. I was never told that I hade to pay for travel time. It was to be a flat fee.

    Porters Bldg Centers Inc
This spring we pulled the mower out and found that it would not start, so logic has it; we called Porters where we purchased the mower to ask for assistance on what to do?  The man that we spoke to, flat told us that they did not work on the mowers and take it to Sears, he was very rude!  My husband loaded the mower up and took it to Porters to see if anyone might be able to show us if we just were not starting it right; as we have never had a mower like this one.  Again we were told that they did not work on them and they did not even offer to see if it was simply something that we were doing wrong.  They told us to take it to Sears!
Logic would tell me that the store that you purchased the item from should be where you would take it back to, and they should
help you out with any problems, but this was not the case.  We spent several thousand dollars in this store when we moved to the lake, but I will never enter another Porters store again due to the rudeness and lack of professionalism from the staff at this one location.
We did call Sears and explained the situation and we were told that this was not the first time they had a customer complain about buying a Craftsman from the Porter location, and then not getting any customer service when a problem came up with the product.
We did indeed load the mower up and take it to Sears where they helped us out with the problem.  I think that Sears should stop
allowing Porters to sell their product if they are not going to give Customer Support, I never have had Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards treat me this way, and that is where I will be doing all my shopping for building supplies from now on.

    Oasis Tree Service LLC
We took the tree down and cut up the trunk, and called Israel to take out the stump and two additional stumps. While he was here we asked about getting all the limbs from the tree removed. He was back the next day and removed all the tops and cleaned up everything spotless! Tree tops were removed for about the same price as it would have cost us to rent a limb chipper.

    Green Expectations Landscaping Co Inc
They were very nice. However, I wanted the work done a little cheaper and therefore, did it on my own. They had quoted me $275. They were very good and professional. I think they would?ve done a great job. I will use them again in the future.

    Simmons Tree Service
I was approached directly by Danny Simmons about a large dead oak tree standing right next to our house and overhanging the roof a bit. He gave me an estimate on the spot and left me his card; I made an appointment several days later. Danny showed up with a team of several guys, a bit late. During a phone conversation the night before, I' was told they'd be here between 10am and 11am- I called at 12:30 and he said they were on the way. I asked when they arrived, where they intended to drop the tree and then went to the other side of the house (away from the worksite) to watch. Minutes after they arrived, Danny had already removed all the smaller limbs from the tree and tied the guide ropes to it. The rest of his crew moved my wooden planter boxes that were in the way so they wouldn't get damaged. Once everything was clear and the lines were secure, they dropped the trunk. It landed in a very narrow space- EXACTLY where they said it would, without doing damage to any of my plants, flower beds or other yard structures around it. Two of the men worked with chainsaws to cut it up, while the others removed the guidelines and got the truck and shredder into position to load the wood. They removed all the large pieces, fed the smaller limbs into a shredder, then brought out a large tarp and raked up all the remaining smaller debri. Danny asked whether I wanted the stump cut off low or if I'd like to leave a bit of it. I opted to leave it higher so that it can be used as a seat or a birdbath later. He cut it level for me in case I decide to sit something on it. They put the flower bed structures back that they'd removed and even brought out a leaf blower to clear the porch and sidewalk of any remaining limbs, leaves and sawdust. All of this took less than 2 hours! Overall, I am very happy with the job, the time they took to do it, the condition they left my yard in and their professionalism. I would hire them again in a heartbeat or recommend to anyone.
