  • The repairman moved the refrigerator and cleaned the backside. But he didn't take off the outside grate/guard and vacuum the coils, which is what I expected. The repairmen you get when you call Sears are not really from Sears any more. They don't seem to have as much training as the old Sears repairmen used to have. Food is still freezing in the back!

  • First, Curtis attempted to reconnect a supply line to the filter. The filter leaked again.
    When he was called a second time, he ordered a filter assembly and called promptly when the assembly arrived. 
    Curtis schedule an appointment on a convenient day and he quickly replaced the assembly and showed me a chip he found within the filter housing. The replaced housing did not leak and it works well.
    I appreciate that Curtis tried the simple solution first, and then that did not work, he deducted the price of the first service call from the repair.

  • He was on time, talked me through possible issues, ran tests and had parts to fix it.  He was in and out in probably a half hour and fridge has been running great since.  Had a follow up call on another appliance where he gave me some advice.  Always very helpful, great experience.

  • had to take the freezer apart and remove ice buildup. He said it might still  leak a little for 2-3 days but it never leaked again. Plus after I finally remembered to vacuum the coils my refrigerator now is staying at a safe temp again. It had been only been getting to 45 degrees at the lowest setting but now it's all good. Good service, the guy was on time, very fast and knew what he was doing, would call them again.

  • My main complaint is the company's scheduling, which is the reason I would not use them again. The people answering the phones set up 2 appointments in one month (one a day in advance, another 4 days in advance). However, I received a call in the morning of both appointments saying they would have to reschedule because they did not have the right technician available. While I accepted the rescheduled appointment times, they were not as convenient for me, and it was frustrating that they agreed to the appointment time and could not accommodate me not once, but twice. On the second appointment the manager called me to arrange for me to only have a slightly modified appointment time, however it still was not as convenient for me as my originally scheduled time and seemed like a hassle because of the rearrangements they had to make. Not to mention, their records apparently did not reflect the correct technician that came out the first time.
    The technicians were, however, polite and professional. After looking at my dishwasher at the first appointment and making recommendations, we got it working again. Soon after, the error came back. The second appointment was at no charge because it was within a month for the same issue. The second time they pulled the dishwasher out, took a look, made some recommendations and provided a quote. Once they put it back, it started making a new squeaking sound it didn't before, but the error hasn't come back as much. With their scheduling system as it is, I did not even tell them about the noise or try to schedule an appointment again even though I believe they have good technicians. It is because of their technicians, however, that I still gave them a B rating.

  • Called early in morning and was presently surprised to find they could come right away. Service man arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem. My husband, who has alzheimer's, had turned off the cold water faucet. Who knows why? Moving on to the dryer he replaced a belt and gave it a good cleaning. What I appreciated was the kindness he showed to my husband as he looked on. I would definitely call them again.
