I left a call Sunday, missed their call Monday but returned it by 10:30am. At 3pm when I called, they'd never heard of me and kept padding the call around. They say they can't help with the plumbing problem and will charge $113 to LOOK at the A/C problem. The last man sounded relieved he didn't have to work. Angie's List, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

    Redeemed Heating and Cooling L.L.C
For the first issue, the contractor came out and performed the service as prescribed by the Home Warranty Company. There was an additional charge of $219. I asked what it was for. The contractor called his office and said 'Nevermind, we'll take care of it'. What they did was call HSA and tell them that I refused to pay. I then had to log yet another call with HSA for the same unit and it went to this company. They did not contact me, so I called them and they said that HSA had canceled the call. It turns out that THEY canceled the call with HSA for non-payment of the $219, but didn't tell me about it. I called back and paid them and asked why they lied to me. The unsatisfactory answer I got was 'I just do what I'm told' from the receptionist. For the second issue the contractor showed up, ordered a part and left. I didn't hear back from them for 3 weeks. I had called them several times and they didn't know any kind of status. The lack of communication was very poor.

During the initial "sales talk", very little information was made available about the product. It was necessary to contact their office for the brand and model number of the three product pieces. With that information, I was able to search the internet and find descriptive information and ratings of the product I was buying. The operation of the equipment was not explained until after requesting it from the office personel at the completion of the installation.

Coupons found on "Angies List" were not honored. A "Veterans Discount" was mentioned, but did not appear on the invoice.

AC installation went well.. was completed the first day. Furnace was also "in place" the first day. AC was immediately operational and put to use. Completion of the Furnace was posponed indefinately. It was not until 23 days later that the Furnace installation was completed.

Communication with the installers during the 23 days was not possible.

Communication with the office personel was excellant and the office personel were extraordinarily accomodating and helpful. Indeed, it was due to this communication that the Furnace installation was eventually completed.

The quality of the merchandise was excellant as was the installation job. Overall, I am pleased with the job.

Very professional and the guys where here when they said they would be.  Checked and double checked the HVAC to make sure everything was working correctly with the new thermostat before they left.

Called late in the afternoon. Repairman was at my door 1st thing next morning. He ran a diagnostic on 1988 unit and found multiple leaks of coolant inside house and outside on unit. Asked if we wanted the old unit fixed or a new unit installed. Gave a quote of $4910.00 for correct size unit. Installer was there within 3 hours to measure for correct fit. We ordered unit and set up appointment for 8/14/2014 8:30am.
Crew started work on unit before 8:30am. They were very professional. They put down drop clothes to protect my floor. They worked quietly and efficiently. They cleaned everything up and were completely finished by 1:30pm.
Will use this company if needed in the future. Have already recommended them to friends.

Had problems with a/c this summer at our cabin. We live several hours away and wern't. familiar with companies in area. After several calls to different companies on a Sunday, Goff responded immediately and were there within 15 minutes. When we decided to replace the unit, we definitely called them to do the work. Wonderful experience and highly recommend them. Very professional and efficient!!!

5 years later we have had to pay another professional to redo existing duct work because it was installed incorrectly and install a new HVAC unit. The unit that Comfort by Design 5 years ago had been repaired 3 times. Repair # 1 a new motherboard. Repair # 2 new capacitor. Repair # 3 would have been a new compressor and all new coolant. The last breakdown would have cost us $ 2000 (it is out of warranty) if we would have decided to repair the unit instead of purchasing a new one.

Had to replace the heat pump and ac in a house less than 3 years old! The builder and used a unit that was not under a warranty, unknown to us! Ed's came right out, did an excellent job, and went beyond their responsibility. There was a bad vibration in the wall when the heat pump was on, due to the builder not installing the piping properly. Ed and his guys worked on this and got it fixed at no extra charge to us, even though it had nothing to do with what they had done. They get an A+ + in our book.

Very good! They were right out after I called. Linda (secretary) was super-nice, and Steve (workman) was very friendly and helpful. Scott (office manager, I think) handled lots of phone calls for the warranty I had on the system. No other company was willing to help us!
