  • When I contacted Travis he responded quickly and set up a date to relocate pool table. He was very timely, and kept in contact as we also replaced bumpers and felt. The table looks like new even though it's 15 years old.

  • Please use caution when using this moving company. They had been highly recommended to me. They arrived on time and did a nice job with moving my things. However, bedrails fell on the end of a cherry wood sleigh bed. It left a 2 inch gauge so deep the wood was white. I saw it when I was doing the final walk around. I asked one of the movers about it and he said I would need to talk to the supervisor. I could tell he already knew that damage was there. I went to talk to the supervisor and when I returned to the room one of the movers had placed some type of black substance on the damage. When talking to the supervisor I could tell he had already known that it was there and my sense is that they were just not going to say any thing. The fact that they did not say anything and also placed some kind of black substance on the bed without asking me showed a significant lack of integrity. I called the owner the following Monday. He was rude, defensive, and has still not sent anyone out to fix the damage. It has been over two weeks now. You may want to use this moving company if you feel that nothing will go wrong with your move. However, you may want to consider that these are not necessarily people that show integrity when something does go wrong. I am not sure what Mr. McDermott feels I have done to him or his company that would make him feel I deserve to be treated this way. All I did was trust him with my things and pay my bill in full.

  • The best experience I could have imagined. This was NOT an easy move. My things were stored in a basement WITHOUT access to a walkout. Everything went down the stairs. The crew was courteous, efficient and very careful with my belongings. I can't say enough about the company-from the time I scheduled, to the time the job was completed.

  • MOOVERS' three men showed up 30 minutes late, looked over the job, and then went to the truck to talk. The leader came in to make me a proposition. Him and another guy wanted to move us the next day, Sunday, on the side for $800, which he said would be split among three of them. I refused, stating we really needed to get moved that day so I would have a few days to get unpacked before I had to return to work. Also I needed to go with a company that was insured. The leader walked away, sat in truck for 30 minutes, then came back in to give me one more chance to accept his deal because he was calling MOOVERS to tell them that we were not packed nor ready to move so they were going on to the next job. I got upset and explained to him that we were ready and asked them to please get started. (By this time, they had been there an hour and a half and hadn't moved a thing.) He told me my only chance of moving that weekend would be to take his offer of moving on Sunday for $800 and he walked away. I then called MOOVERS and was placed on hold for a long time. When I was finally able to speak to someone, I explained what had happened and was placed on hold. About that time, the man on the truck got a phone call, the men closed up the truck and they drove away. I was left on hold with no movers. After 20 minutes, I called back. After waiting forever, when I finally got to speak with someone, I was told that I was a liar and the man who propositioned me had worked for them for a long time and would never do such a thing. I told them that the truck drove away leaving us high and dry and they informed us that the man's supervisor told him to leave because I was making up stories about them. How ridiculous! Fortunately, it took some doing, but I was able to get another company to come out and get started that afternoon moving us. About three hours after the MOOVERS truck left while I was waiting for the new company to arrive, I got a call from the supervisor at MOOVERS wanting to make me a deal. She was willing to send the men back for $1800. Is that wrong or what! I think we figured out who the third person was who was going to split the $800 on Sunday. Two days later, I called back to speak to the owner since he was a local kid, I thought he should know what was going on in his company and my daughter had gone to school with his sister. I ended up speaking to the owner's mother and I explained the whole story. I was told that it was hard to believe because the man who had propositioned me had been with the company for a long time, and the supervisor was the owner's right hand person. So, she was sure I wasn't telling the truth. UGH!

  • I hired Two Men to help w/ my move on 11/19. The movers arrived on time & were polite initially, but as they began to move my things I became concerned by their lack of care. I noted damaged items on the delivery ticket, the worst damage being to my leather sofa. After almost an hour of trying to get the couch into the stairwell I told them that they could put it back in my apt & I would deal w/ it later. I was assured that they do this every day & hadn’t left anything behind before. A neighbor heard the noise in the hallway and offered help, which the movers accepted. I did not ask. During this time not only was my couch broken, the lead mover stormed out & an exit sign was knocked down. The remaining movers took the couch back to my unit as I had requested before the damage occurred. The remaining items were loaded & despite notes designating delivery destination, many items ended up at the wrong place This error resulted in me having to move things again later on my own. After delivery I noted other damage to a wall clock and large floor lamp. I was told to expect a call on Monday to discuss the repair process. When I didn’t receive this call by 11/26, I called & spoke w/ Wade, the claims manager. On 11/30 the QC manager, Jake, & another man came to get the couch to take back to their shop for assessment. They were able to accomplish in roughly an hour, with no additional damage, what the original team of 3 could not. Between 11/30 & 12/24 I made many unsuccessful attempts to reach Wade for a status update/resolution. When I finally heard back on 12/24, by email, I was informed that my claim had been denied b/c a neighbor, whom they claimed to be my friend, caused the damage not them. They also claimed that the 6’ tall lamp that was broken was never in their possession. Not only have they failed to repair the damage to my belongings but they also failed to resolve the damages to my apt complex as of 01/13. As a last effort before filing a complaint w/ the BBB I contacted their corporate office on 1/19 but was referred back to the franchise for resolution. In the end, after 6 months of back and forth fighting I finally got them to at least refund the cost of the move. This is a very expensive mistake I'll never make again.

  • What a great team! From the office to the guys doin the heavy lifting!! I was very lucky to have experienced this company. Communication skills excellent. Kept me informed of moving date, called me the morning of moving day, and the driver called me just before arriving to storage just as I had requested. Right on time, and was completed on a timely manner as quoted. Great attitudes from office and the guys moving me.I will call upon them again when needed, and I recommend anyone who is wanting excellent customer service and proper care of your household goods to call upon them! Thanks to you all !!

  • These people are nothing in the world but bait and switch artists masking themselves behind a Christian symbol. They quoted me one price and then showed up at my door claiming to be reading from non-existent notes that I had never originally said to them. This was nothing more than a total scam and a completely dishonest business practice. DO NOT USE THEM, PERIOD!!!

  • It went great. Despite being in 90+ degree weather both days, the crew did not let it get to them. They had no problem letting us use our own moving vehicles and even moved our piano without a hitch. They also managed to get the same piano down a turning flight of basement steps WITHOUT damaging any walls (which is more than I can say for the full service movers my new home seller used). The crew were all friendly, fast and professional. The price was definitely right. I would use this company again.

  • I was very unhappy. I had called them and asked specifically if they would protect my floors because the place where we moved in has hardwood floors. They promised me that they would protect my floors. When I came out, they gave me a whole lot of bad excuses about how they could not cover anything up because they do not have the right stuff. I just had to do it myself. I finally told them to get out of my way and that I was going to do it myself. I was really mad that they told me they would do something that they ended up not willing to do and they did not even put our beds together right. Everything they did was just half-bad. They were on time though. I would not use them again in the future and I would not recommend them either.
