    As far as their stores, they do not have the help that I need out here where I am at. I deal with them online. If you are looking for the usage of their product like their phone lines and everything, I never had good luck with them. We have had an ongoing problem for years out here. We live outside of the city limits and it is an older area and all the phone lines are older and they would not replace them. Whenever it storms, my internet and everything goes down. I would get rid of it but we have had this number ever since we have been married for 35 years and my wife does not want to get rid of the land line or otherwise I would dump them and go to a dish. It all stems from the line from the line that they would not replace because they say there is not enough people out here, it is not going to expand and they do not want to upgrade because there is not any money in it for them. So, service is not their biggest commitment to the smaller person I guess. I would tell them I am not happy with their service but I can see why they do what they do.

    I pay about $138 for two lines and couple of smart phones. I chose them over other competitors for their good coverage and reception. They have been very helpful with any kind of problems that I've had and if I have a problem they would come right away. Mr. John Townley at their Blue Springs store has given me an excellent service when I had been there to pick my phones up. Their quality of service has been great. I'm very happy with them.

    Before we purchased the modem and Internet service, this company's store in Blue Springs, Mo., showed us a map of coverage that promised coverage almost every step of the way from Kansas City to Seattle.  We got excellent coverage when we tested it in Kansas City.  We never managed connect anywhere else on the whole trip.

    When we returned to Kansas City, we discovered that the coverage map we were erroneously shown was for telephone service, not Internet service.  Internet coverage was extremely limited.  We took the modem back and asked for a refund.  The store in Blue Springs, Mo., refused because we were past the 30-day refund period.  We explained that our return was delayed because my mother died over Christmas.  I was told to take it up with the parent store in Independence, Mo.  The manager at the Independence store denied any responsibility for errors made by the Blue Springs store and threatened to call police if I did not leave.

    I contacted Cricket corporate headquarters and the FCC.  After months of effort on our part, Cricket responded:
    "We determined Mr. Armstrong bought the Cricket service and modem from an indirect dealer.  Please be advised that indirect Cricket dealers are independent from Cricket.  Though these dealers sell and advertise Cricket products and services, they are an independent business apart from Cricket.  While Cricket provides guidelines to the independent dealers for pricing, policy and procedure, it has limited control over which guidelines the dealers choose to implement.  Because of the independent contractual arrangement between Cricket and its dealers, Cricket does not refund for equipment purchased at a dealer location."

    In other words, the gobbledegook answer from top to bottom was that no one takes responsibility.
