    Otis Woods, owner of this business who is a felon, was hired to be a handyman, meaning fix simple things here and there. THIS MAN STOLE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, RAN UP FRAUDULENT CHARGES, AND LEFT WITHOUT FIXING A THING!! He convinced my elderly boss that he was a contractor and could fix ANYTHING, which is far from the truth. I had to hire REAL PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTORS TO COME IN AND FIX THE DAMAGE HE LEFT BEHIND. This man currently has a bench warrant for his arrest, as he stole tools from our home. Google him and you can find his mug shots (plural) along with reasons for his arrests. DO NOT ALLOW THIS MAN INTO YOUR HOME!!

    Very well. Great customer service. No unexpected or extra charges -- what was bid was what was paid. Good quality. We got 5 different bids. While theirs was not the lowest (or highest), the lower priced competitors mentioned potential extra charges whereas Easter said the price was the price...and it was. I'd use and recommend them again.

    Our salesman Andy and installers Esav and Ned did an excellent job from start to finish.     Tom had fantastic turnaround on coming out to give us an estimate and then scheduling service.  He rearranged his schedule to accommodate our job because of the grass-growing season coming to an end.  The quote he sent was specific and itemized so that we could see what we were paying for.  Tom's crew showed up the morning they were expected and worked efficiently and professionally.  They took the time to remove old tree stumps and dead plants as well as some fence materials that were left behind by the previous owners.  Tom oversaw the work at various points throughout the day, pitched in, and checked his workers' work. He also gave me helpful advice on how to give our grass the best conditions for germination and growth as we move into next spring and offered to come back and winterize our lawn later in the season.

    Veterans Tree & Fence
    It went horribly!  DO NOT HIRE.  WARNING! Worst, least communicative contractor I have EVER dealt with.  Does not return phone calls or emails. 
    We were responsible for getting our own permit.  OK, fine, we did, BUT the permit couldn't be finalized until he renewed his contractor license with the city, and it could have been done from a form printed from the website and faxed in.  Over several phone messages to him, we told him, all he needed to do was call us or the city back for this information, or just go to the city website.  Since he never called us back it never got done.  It wasn't until we finally had enough of the no communication whatsoever from him after three weeks,  so we sent an official cancellation notice.  That night he faxed in his renewal and returned one email.  Someone from utilities showed up to mark the yard, so again, we called to find out what was going on.  Again, no response to several phone calls and emails.  After another week of NO COMMUNICATION, we sent another email that gave the ultimatium of either do that job by the end of the next week, refund our money, or we will be seeking legal action due to the company's extreme unresponsiveness. 
    We did not get any phone calls but SOME (not all) of the materials just showed up in our yard.  Later that day, we finally talked to Michael and was told that someone would be there first thing Friday (10-09-15) morning to put our fence in. 
    Apparently first thing in the morning means 11:30. The two guys that were there to work, were the slowest workers I have ever seen.  One guy dug the hole for the post, one handed while talking on a cell phone (or the other guy did it while smoking a cigarette, also one handed).  Then after the hole was dug, they would take a break and talk for a minute and walk around in circles.  Then after a few minutes they would go back and place the post and put in the concrete mix and water.  Then was time for a break.  After about a five minute break they would start on the next post-hole and the process would start over again.  After being here for six hours, I have 16 posts placed.  And that is it!  The rest of the materials have still not been been delivered, Michael himself was here about 2:00 and could see what little progress they have made.  He said he stopped by to see about an issue with the electrical box that he should have very easily noticed when he came out for the initial quote, and the guys should have notice when they were digging on top of the orange line the utilities were marked under!  So Michael tells me the reason it is taking so long is because of the rocky soil.  Its not the rocky soil, its the slow workers, I've been watching them, they take a break every two minutes.  Michael then tells me the reason he never called us back was because he didnt know what day he would be out.  The thing is, we NEVER asked about that, and had he bothered to listen to any of the messages or read the emails, or CALL US BACK, he would know that wasnt what we wanted. 
    At 5:30 the workers left, the rest of the materials still havent been delievered, and we were told that they would be back "Sunday or Monday sometime".  Of course Michael isnt answering the phone or any email messages.  HORRIBLE company, no professionalism, no service, lazy workers.  I will be videoing them IF they ever do come out to finish the work for our attorney.

    The sale person, Abdul, was informative about the products the company had, was clear in his communication, and explained everything to our satisfaction.  When I learned we had some additional work to be done after the contract was signed, he checked the situation and responded promplty with the cost for the additonal work.  Whe I had additional questions/clarifications about the work via email, he responded in a timely manner.
    The company contacted me in advance when it knew the date on which it could begin the work.  The installers arrived on time.  We walked through the work to be done, preferences I had in the contract, and other details.  The work took 3 days.  The installers arrived on time each day, were agreeable to my watching them work from time to time (this is how I learn about how things are done), and if there were questions or improvements on placement of fancing, they let me know so I could answer/decide.
    The installer worked hard each day, were professional, approachable, and dependable.  They did a great installation and are a credit to the company.  If I had work to be done in the future, I would want Abdul and these installers.
    The work was completed timely (we didn't have rain), the fence is well-constructed and nice looking.  The gates are well designed and good hardware on them.
    The company followed up on 8/28 to inquire if we were satisfied--and we are. 
    Chesterfield gave us great service, qualit product and installation.
