ALiberty Heating & CoolingSam Marsala was very good at diagnosing my furnace trouble, the fix was simple to my relief. My water heater was on its last legs. Sam diagnosed the trouble and we had Sam install a new Raheem water heater. He was very quick to respond to my needs and explained very clearly the trouble found. ALast December, on one Friday early evening, I noticed my heating system was not working and it was very cold. I called PHCS services and they sent a technician Saturday morning to diagnose the issue. FYI, I am a handyman and fix a lot of things around my house, but I don't have the right tools for this service and don't like to do anything with gas pipes. I watched the technician doing his work and realized he is an expert. He checked everything and was able to detect that the gas valve was the culprit. He also recommended replacing the pressure switch. He explained to me what was happening and even showed me how the failure was triggered. In addition, he checked the whole system and even recommended me to install two carbon monoxide detectors, one by the heating system and one on the first floor by the bedrooms. I haven't bought and installed them yet - mea culpa. He didn't have the parts in his truck, but he said, Monday morning another technician would come with the parts and replace them. Before leaving, he explained to me that I could turn on the heating system for a few minutes to heat the house until the pressure valve would fail. After that, I would need to wait sometime and then could turn on the system again. I followed his instructions and was able to stay and sleep in a warm house on Saturday and Sunday. As promised, Monday morning, another technician came over, replaced the parts, and made the necessary calibrations. Few days later, I received an email with the bill, which was very reasonable, and so far my heating system is working like a champ. It is nice to know that there are still good and honest people in this world.

AI provided information about my issue and furnace make/model to the dispatch personnel who relayed it to the technician. When the technician arrived he had a good idea of the issue and brought the appropriate parts. During his repair the tech, Bradley, also performed some additional preventative maintenance work. I was very satisfied with everything. They were very quick to respond, arrived just over two hours after my call and had the all work finished in about an hour. This included the extra maintenance to head off future issues. As our units are over 15 years old I also signed up for semiannual maintenance which was included in the bill. Given this experience I highly recommend Martin-Jetco.

Bterrible. Had problem with heat ( a/c repair was in July 2020). Turns out they did not reinstall the exhaust pipe correctly with caused a heating malfunction. I called and complained but they have not resolved the issue yet. I'm out an extra $250 repair because of there error. Update as of 12/1/2020: I did have some issues due to an unforeseen circumstance but the repair they made was good. As for a previous review I left, they did finally call me on Nov. 27th about the unforeseen problems. The repair tech and discussed the problem and I was very satisfied with his call. I would recommend Tyler to anyone needing their services. I did get a call from c-n-o as a followup on Nov. 28 but we could not agree on a resolution so I dropped by request for a review of the issues. I would recommend c-n-o for your service needs

AI previously worked with another company to replace my furnace. The first company was extremely flakey and would constantly cancel my appointments or simply not show up. Eventually, I decided to go on Angie's List, and I found Siefert Mechanical. This company was extremely quick to get to my house, give me an estimate, and then perform the service. Not only did Siefert Mechanical quote me a price that was $600 less than the first company, they also never cancelled or missed an appointment. They came out once to give me a quote, then the very next time they came out to my house, they replaced my furnace. The quality of their work is extremely professional, and I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any heating/cooling service you need performed.
