  • Dan has been our realtor since 2014. After getting some bids on a retaining wall in our current home, I realized I needed more information regarding drainage issues and permits. I emailed Dan to see if I could pick his brain. Dan not only responded to me within minutes but he also set up a time to come look at the property. After taking the time the time to climb the wall and walk the property, Dan gave guidance and feedback. I appreciate that he helped us formulate next steps for our project. (He also gave us some great ideas for our next Halloween display!) I highly recommend Dan Brassil for his professionalism and integrity.

  • Regarding our home sale, we could not have asked or expected anything better!  We had two contracts in the first 24 hours, followed by two more offers in the following days.  We got our full asking price for the house.  We believe Tom helped us assess the value of our home just right so that all concerned came out on top.  His tips in preparing our home for show and sale were invaluable, and all of  the prospective buyers that came through all commented on how nice the house showed.

  • Dan Brassil sold our house in 31 days and for pretty much the price we wanted!
    We knew that selling our house would be a challenge as it was an older home and was on a busy street. Our house was too large for a single couple and we thought that a family with children would be reluctant of the location and indeed many were. We sought out a Realtor with creative marketing ideas that somewhat specialized in older homes with a lot of character. We found Dan on Angie's list and the reviews could not have been better. 
    Dan and his crew at Circa are not your run of the mill list it on MLS and depend on your group of friends to help sell the house Realtors. They truly did have a creative marketing plan. Our house even had its own web site! The amount of pictures that they took and posted on line along with the full color brochures complete with floor plan was like nothing I have ever seen before. Their work is incredible. They even placed little placards on stands throughout the house highlighting special features of the house and neighborhood. The walk through appeal of the house on open house day was amazing, we were even impressed at how good our own home looked. Another special touch was the letter from us to the potential buyers where we got to gush about all of the love and good times that dwelt within the walls of that house. It really helped us with the transition and with turning the page on that part of our lives and was an unexpected personal touch for the Buyers. I feel like that letter forever connects us  with that house
    Dan was completely professional and supportive all along the way. We really felt that he was in control and knew what he was doing and that he was doing all that he could be doing. He was very assuring and calm when we began to get discouraged from some of the feedback. It seemed that he never had any doubt that he could sell the house.
    So if you dont care and want to just use whatever realtor your Brother's Neighbor's Cousin used that's fine, you get what you get. But if you are reading this because you are doing research and looking for the best Realtor that you can find. Dan Brassil is your  Man

  • Dan is excellent. I have previously worked with two other agents and was not satisfied. As such, my husband and I tried to sell our home ourselves with no luck. After researching agents online, we decided to give Dan a try. He just talked frankly about what we needed to do, and then explained what he was going to do. And Dan did everything that he said he would. There were a few complications at the beginning and Dan was extremely responsive and aggressive in addressing (and correcting) the issues. His dedicated efforts sold our home within one month....something we had been trying to do for two years! I highly recommend Dan and his team for selling your home.
    I also recommend Dan for home purchasing. While out home shopping, my husband and I saw the floor layouts and room sizes and all of the various aspects that we liked/didn't like. Dan, however, was AWESOME at pointing out things we missed about the structure and well-being of the home. He was once again honest and frank about what he was seeing, and not opinionated. This gave us an immediate sense of trust with Dan because it was clear he was interested in helping us find a good home that would grow in value over time.
    The last thing I can say about Dan is he navigates the emotions of home selling/buying very well. There were strong emotions on both sides and Dan was great about staying neutral and continuing to lead both sides towards resolution.

  • This is the worst realtor firm in St. Louis and if I could have fired them or kept them from getting a commission on the sale of my home, I would have done so. Unfortunately, this was a company relocation so we were too far down the process and on a very short time schedule to begin with new agents. I have never experienced such unresponsiveness and lack of customer service from any other real estate professional and I've been an attorney working in real estate finance for many years. Due to their extreme incompetence, they cost us the first offer on our home and over $3000 because they didn't understand the relocation process and procedures. Rather than providing any information to help us negotiate the pricing and sale, we spent days explaining the process. Consequently, the potential Buyer's walked from the deal. They conducted an open house shortly after that and left the back door to my house standing wide open after they left and never even apologized. A couple who came to that open house expressed interest, but didn't have an agent, so they conveniently set them up with another agent from their office. Our agents were aware of my company's policies regarding a buy-out in the event my home didn't sell on the open market and were very aware of the price of that buy-out. Not surprisingly, the offer from the couple represented by the same office was remarkably similar to that offer....to the penny! Given that once again, they gave us no data or information or assistance during the negotiating process (other than transmitting messages back and forth), I am highly skeptical that this was not, in essence, a dual agency and they were for all intents and purposes representing the Buyers to our detriment. The inspection process was a nightmare as well. John Hartman informed (not asked) usafter 5 pm one evening that Buyer's would be conducting a standard building inspection the next day at a set time. As I work from home, I explained that the time did not work becuase of conference calls, but that they could come an hour later. We were told that it was set and there was nothing we could do and Buyer's have a right to enter anytime they want! So, at the designated time, 4 sets of inspectors converged on my home, hammering at my plumbing, yelling up and down the stairs and creating such a distraction that I was unable to complete my calls. When I called and asked him to please come over and handle the situation so I could work, he refused and said there was nothing he could or would do. The Buyer's agent left in the middle of it all leaving Buyer's and unknown inspectors in my home unsupervised. When I complained to John, he told me that she was in a cast. Not sure what that had to do with anything, but it clearly shows the relationship between them. Upon everyone's departure, I came down from my second floor office to find that my front door was left open and unlocked. Told Hartman to get the lock box off the house so that any future inspections would have to be cleared and we would have to be here to ensure no damage was done and the house was properly secured. Again, he told me that and quot;by lawand quot; he couldn't do that. Clearly, he doesn't know the law. I must grant reasonable access for due diligence, but I do not have to grant free and open access to my home 24/7. This entire process has been an absolute nightmare due to the lack of service and skill of Hartman and Wynn. If you want a full service realty company who are professional, knowledgeable, helpful and who will only work for you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! ANYWHERE ELSE! Sell it on your own if your only choice is these people...you'll do all the work yourself anyway.

  • Christine was very professional and an easy agent to work with. After listing our home, she did a thorough job of marketing our home and rotated marketing resources to keep our house "fresh". We were facing somewhat of an uphill battle considering the timing of the sale of our house (late fall and winter time frame + slow real estate market). Our home sold in 3 months, which met our expectations. Christine touched base with us weekly and provided metrics for us on the number of hits we were getting on various Realtor websites. We also thought her pricing strategies worked for us.
