    Eric's moving and delivery service
    Things started out fine, they were early and did an initial walk thru of the space assuring me it would be a very easy move, no problem. I had supplied them ahead of time with a list of appliances, furniture, # of boxes etc that were included and was quoted $55.00 per man per hour at about 6-8 hours. This price was to include the rental of a moving truck(they do not have their own) and a large trailer. On moving day they did not brig the trailer and there were just 2 men, Eric the owner and a co-mover. Eric stayed in the truck the entire time loading while the other mover carried ONE BOX at a time to the truck. I made a comment about using a dolly to move several at a time and was dismissed. Things were moving a long and I thought on time until they started to move the appliances (all of which had been brought into the house with no problem or need to dismantle anything). After all was said and done they worked for almost 2 hours to move the fridge, taking doors of hinges and all the handles and door of the fridge. Work came to a complete halt. there seemed to be the same issue with the washer/dryer having to remove doors and jimmy things around. It became clear they had no idea what they were doing and they didn't have power tools to do the work either. Finally at 730pm they said we have to go to the new house and unload there is no more room in the truck, if they had the trailer as advertised this would not have been an issue. However they stated they would have to come back the next day to finish. Finally at 1130pm they left, after unloading with no rhyme or reason, I found a 200 dollar leather coat on the floor under boxes, clothes thrown on the floor in front of the closet instead of hung up, kitchen items were in the bedroom including food, hardware to the fridge that they took apart was missing(I was told oh you can just buy new at Menards for cheap), there was a corner chunk missing from my antique buffet that I was told would be addressed and never was. And they still had to come back the next day! 2nd day of move that was never supposed to be, they added another 4 hours onto their time. When I went to the old house to clean I was appalled and angry by what I found. Hundreds of dollars worth of my property still in the old house and movers long gone. I was forced to shove as much stuff into my car as possible and leave what I could not fit as I needed to be out. Property left at the old house included 2 wrought iron patio chairs and several pottery planters, a $400 pilates bench, lamps, shelves to the tv center, a TV, and several boxes filled with misc items. Unfortunately the new owners are not generous or forgiving and put it all on the curb in the rain and it was picked up for trash despite my plea thru the relator to let me come get it. I lost it all. I did make an attempt to contact Eric's movers and laid out everything and asked for a refund based on the amount of property loss and damage but have had no response. They talked themselves up before and during the move and asked me to refer them. There is no way I would ever recommend them to anyone. In the end it took 7 hours longer than quoted at a cost of $1100.00 more than quoted and that does not include the cost of replacing or repairing the items lost or damaged.

    I use Straight Talk now, but that’s fairly recent because I used Verizon, and I really despise that company. Every time I had a bill I was shocked, and then when I saw an add-on for their taxes that they pay, I decided to change. I will never ever use them again, I’d hate to use them. I would not recommend this company because their customer service is horrible, and their pricing is misleading. They show me a plan, and then they tack on this, that, and the other so that I end up paying a lot more. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

    They are a local cable company and they seem to be helpful and nice. Their technical services aren’t available 24x7 which is a little frustrating. The cable TV service is just odd, some of the local channels hardly come in at all.

    They were great! They were here all day hooking things up. They followed up. The president of the company called me the next day to make sure we were happy. I was very pleased. I would recommend they look at it and compare prices with the other cable company. They have pretty good packages. I was impressed that when I had issues the next day, they got right back to me.
