ARick Ites ConstructionWe were very impressed with Rick and Jarod; they were here when they said they would be, they accommodated us since it is our only bathroom by replacing the toilet each day prior to leaving. They went over and above to help with replacing some other sheet rock areas, magically fixed a drawer in our new vanity that the plumber said they would have to screw closed... still can't figure out how they did it! My husband stated "he is a true craftsman" and those compliments don't come easy from my husband!!! I've included before and after pics.- Jan W.

AMastin & Mueller RemodelingGalen did a wonderful job in building me a chase for some new duct work as well as insulating a crawl space and sheet rocking repair. He is a all around handy man so I think I found my go to guy on jobs out of my league.. Very fair priceing and he came up with alot of extra ideas for me which I think is great. ARick Ites ConstructionThis home is one of 4 condominiums attached as row houses with all wooden exteriors built in the mid 1980's. Rick Ites' bid was the best of four we had received and one homeowner had already had positive experiences with this company. The weather was still warm in October. Mr. Ites felt he and his crew could get this job done before cold weather. The other units that had contracted with Mr. Ites for the exterior work did not have as much damage as my unit. So the crew spent more time working on the exterior of my unit. They worked every warm day and were able to complete everything before freezing temps arrived. All individuals were polite and professional. They cleaned up the work areas at the end of each work day. I will certainly use this company again. I was particularly impressed with Mr. Ites' use of quality materials. He made sure that my home will remain in good exterior condition for many years to come.- Darlene N.

AMastin & Mueller RemodelingGalen is a professional and really cares about the quality of the work he does. I've used him in the past for carpentry/contracting projects and have always been happy with his work. This time, I had him paint my 2 level deck, do some siding on the 3 season porch, paint my garage door and haul away a lot of junk from my garage. He charged a comparable amount to other estimates I got, but did some extras for free as well. He showed up on time, did an excellent job for the price quoted, cleaned up after himself and emailed me photos of the completed work. I was very happy with the quality of what he did, the amount of time it took, and the whole process. I highly recommend him!- Keith H.

AMastin & Mueller RemodelingThey were very busy with other jobs, but luckily were able to squeeze me in right away. They were very friendly, worked quickly, yet efficiently and came in at the estimated amount. They kept me involved with the process. There was even a small leak the next day and Galen came the day after being called to fix it. Will be using them again for other house projects that my husband keeps saying he'll get to!- Rhonda F.

ASam's Woodworking and Concrete PumpingThis was a recently purchased home which needed a lot of updates. Sam was very easy to work with, and had some great ideas for the remodeling. He is very experienced and a perfectionist at all types of home repair, building and remodeling. He was able to handle the electrical, plumbing and gas line work easily, which kept the remodeling schedule on target - no delays! He did an especially beautiful job with the ceramic and stone tile and cabinetry.- Meg S.

FPremier Pool & SpaWOW! Absolute WORST customer service ever! I had my pool vac serviced for a warranty issue last year at this store with no problems at all. I had another problem this spring. Called this morning, explained the problem, and was told yes, it was covered, and that I could wait while it was fixed. I drove 120 miles (it's the nearest service center) and when I arrived, was treated VERY rudely by Bernie, who I later found out was the owner. He refused to fix my vacuum, even though it is clearly stated on my warranty that it was covered. He refused to fix it since I didn't buy it at his store, and even called me a liar and said I'd never been there before. What the heck? He is listed on the Hayward site as an authorized service center for warranty issues! I tried and tried, but he completely refused. And he was mean about it. What kind of business owner stands there and calls a customer a liar in front of other customers???? He was rude, refused to fix my vac, and was just horrible!!!!!!! When I offered to pay and sort out the warranty details with Hayward later, just so I didn't have to drive all that way again (have you noticed how expensive gas is???) , he quoted me an outrageous rate and told me he wouldn't do it while I waited. That was a wasted tank of gas! Be very wary of this place! Will be reporting to Hayward customer service! I called another service center in the cities, and they were WONDERFUL! FHollerich ConstructionHe replaced a window on my porch. He got the window in but there were some problems with the fit somehow. He said he would be back and he never came back. I gave him $400 to do the job and I have not been able to get in contact him. I had him doing some soffit work in my garage that he left without completing. He was converting a window in the basement into a flip up door so I could throw wood into the basement. He got the frame completed but did not ever finish the job. I also learned that he has not paid his help for the last year either. I would not recommend him to anyone.- Gregory H.

AJeremy and Jessica sold us the windows and installed them for us themselves. We could tell by his attention to detail that Jeremy has had a lot of experience in window installation. We observed every step of the installation process, and he explained to us exactly what he was doing and why. They stand by the quality of their work and encouraged us to contact them right away if we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely hire this local Minnesota business again if we choose to install more new windows in our home.

AGene met with me personally, his office staff kept me informed on dates for dumpster delivery and timing of completion. Gene was at the job site several times to inspect his crews and work. Best yet, he did all the hard work with the insurance company and adjusters. After initially being told by the insurance company that they would only pay for a few roof repairs, he was able to spend the time with another adjuster and get the whole roof done as well as the siding.

DThe room was completed on schedule but they did not complete all of the work the were supposed to do. The bathroom was completed but they installed a piece of the wall covering with a large chip in it and installed the bathroom stool incorrectly that caused it to leak. I contacted Rick many times via text and he responded that he would call to set up a time to correct my problems. He never called me back or tried to contact me.
