    Minnesota Concrete Lifting
I am so pleased with the service, price and outcome!! The guys were efficient, hardworking, pleasant and friendly. There were a few glitches, such as the deck steps blocking one concrete slab, and they went above and beyond expectations in getting the job done just right. The concrete is now level and it looks great!!

    Advanced Garage Door Solutions Inc
Called on Friday- they were out on Saturday (snow storm and all) on time. Called 15 minutes before Ben arrived. The price was what the web site said it would be. When I replace my noisy opener it is Advanced who I will call. Only $150 to install.

My cables broke on my older garage doors. I plan to knock this older garage building over soon but wanted to use it until we rebuild. The company was able to provide high quality service within hours, meeting my work scheduling needs. They didn't oversell me on unnecessary solutions for my older set up - this was important given this wasn't a long term need for me. I'm very happy and would hire again

The spring was broken, that was it. The guy replaced the spring but then the door was off-track somehow and a piece needed to be replaced. When we contacted them, they said they could come out and fix it (the cost would be about the same as buying a new door). In short, they made the problem worse and not better. The deal included a spring replacement and an inspection. Not sure what the inspection did for us but at least we got a spring. We're now looking at other companies to come and replace the part/fix the door.

Ridge Door Sales and Service Inc
It was broken. We put a hundred-dollar deposit for the opener. All they charged me so far was the deposit. They already traded out the spring and the tracks. They only charged me for the adjustment. It opens and closes. They gave me advice to get a new battery, like take out the old battery because it's a year old. They did offer the extra stuff. They were very nice, they were fast to get here.

They did not charge me more than the $149. It was perfectly clean. It took maybe like an hour. It was just one guy. He gave me a nice recommendation too. He was going to give me some suggestions on how to keep that up.

    Twin Cities Closet Company
It went great! Mary and Julie were excellent to work with. Mary created a beautiful design for our master bedroom closet that makes our closet much more functional than it was. Julie was able to get us in earlier than anticipated which was AWESOME! They are VERY responsive to emails, questions, and go out of their way to drop off samples. They provided clothes racks for us while we were waiting for our closets to be installed, and while they were taken apart. The installer was very nice, professional, and thorough. I would highly recommend TCCC over the other two companies in the area that do the same thing. They do an excellent job!

The consult went great, she had a beautiful design, and the price was where we were expecting it to be. She even had was able to throw in a "free upgrade" to the wood look instead of the plain white after a call to her boss. It wasn't until I told them that I had two other companies coming for consults that I was told that I had to make my decision to hold pricing for the "free upgrade" by the following Monday (appt was on a Friday) even though I told her one of the other companies was not coming until Wednesday. As a buyer, and spending a significant amount of money I didn't like being bullied into saying I had to make a decision before I got all of my quotes in hand. She called me the following Monday to find out if I made a decision, and reminded her that I wasn't going to make a decision until that Wednesday after I met with the other company. She again tried to tell me she could only hold that pricing until Monday. I said that's really unfortunate you're forcing me to make a decision today even though as a buyer/consumer I don't have all the facts yet. This phone call made me not want to work with them, and a big reason why I ended up going with the other company even though she was "able to hold the pricing for 2 more days." I don't like being pushed and forced into making decisions, and will not be bullied into making a decision. She called me back on Thursday (even though she could only hold the pricing until Wednesday) to find out if I was going to go with them, and I ultimately told her "No." She asked more questions, about why I wasn't going with them. Was it design? - partially. Was it cost? - they were about even. It really came down to the sales person.

The tech that showed up spent about 18 minutes on site. I am no garage door expert but I watched as he did a hurried look at the motor, worm gear and drive chain, and then grabbed a can of spray lubricant and did a quick "pssst" over the outside casing at all the hinges locations. I asked if that was the proper way to lube the hinges and he said that was the way to do them. I asked if the spray should be directed into the hinge rotation point and he said what he did as all you had to do. He never did remove the cover and check the condition of the nylon drive gear or grease it up. He never checked the roller condition or checked for the proper pressure on the automatic door reversal. I do a better job of checking the operation and condition of the system when I go over it in the spring and the fall. Maybe I expected more from a professional than a quick in and out. I will say he talked a good job and explained what the parts were and what part they played in the overall operation.

Randy came out the day after I called (I had indicated it wasn't urgent) and repaired the bottom molding on a double garage door which had come partially loose after being frozen to the ground. He suggested a way to insert extra screws to save money compared to replacing the retainer, and was done very quickly. Randy's been out several times, including when we needed to buy new doors, and is always fast and friendly and suggests various ways to accomplish what we need.
