    Thor (sales manager) stated he would get back to me soon with information about my alarm system. Have since spoken with a representative (Rocky?) at Prowire and left word, also sent (too) many texts to Thor's mobile and used his voicemail. Have never heard back. I have lost all faith of ever having a reply. I could never trust that Prowire would do quality work being they do not know how to supply basic customer service. Based on my experience, I suggest that anyone reading this review of Prowire to pick another company...

    Spent several hours on the phone between two different phone calls.  We came to an agreement and the product was shipped to us, but we returned it due to financial considerations on the monthly monitoring fee.  After we returned it, we discovered they had charged us more than the agreed upon price, by over 100.00 dollars.  While they were very professional on the phone and very responsive, I don't like the they over charged me without knowledge and I had to find out on a credit card statement.

    Not sure if component was new in box as claimed. Several accessory items missing from box. Supposed to be included per packing list. Remote control, AC power cord, Owners manual, remote batteries and two additional cords for component connections all missing. For the inconvenience was promised additional bookshelf component per my acceptance of missing items only replacement as opposed to a complete replacement of new component in the box with all accessories. The promise of the bookshelf component for inconvenience and my agreeing to accept missing items only was never fulfilled. All subsequent inquiries and correspondence have been ignored. Can't recommend as I've been unable to establish any trust. Promises made but not fulfilled. I'll shop elsewhere for audio in the future.

    Good! It went well. It cost me more, only because I needed more security components that what it included. And I was okay with that. I think the deal included only like 2 doors and 4 windows. And I have a big house, so I had a lot more than what is the deal included. I did not feel like misguided by the deal. The price is more than I wanted to pay for that and that was high. I requested someone to come out quickly and he did. They were timely and he set the expectation correctly of what I did within in how much more with cost. They were friendly and professional.

    They installed our system, and it took a couple of hours to do. It's an okay system. In order to get the system I needed for this house, I had to add a bunch of extra components; I don't think it was a good deal. There were also some problems with the system initially; I felt that someone could get into the house and stop the alarm if they knew where to look. I wouldn't install this system again. I felt that the product itself was faulty.

    The system is nice and installs easily, however there are some concerns.  One is that the actual alarm is very hard to hear when you are not on the same level of the house as the main panel.  This system really needs a panel on each floor in order for you to hear the alarm.  Otherwise it is not loud enough to alert you.  Also, the app needs serious improvement, as does their customer service model.  We have only called twice with issues, but have had to hold enormous amounts of time just to get to speak to a representative.  Also, the app is not always functioning correctly, so the ability to control your system via the app is not always dependable.

    Update- As promised FrontPoint did have a representative contact us, and in doing so she worked diligently to help us resolve the issues we were experiencing.  Ultimately we ended up purchasing a second panel to expand the reach of the sound of the alarm, which was not the ideal solution, however she did work with us to offer the second panel at a reduced rate, which we appreciated.  The Support Specialist who assisted us demonstrated some of the best customer service we have ever experienced, following up regularly to check in on how things were going, assisted us with making some decisions, demonstrated patience when we were difficult to reach, and overall showed real concern for the issue.   I still feel there is room for improvement in the system to increase the loudness of the alarm when it is set off, however the customer service we received was unparalleled and would be a great model for other companies to mirror.

    I just had what I consider to be a bad experience in calling Lifeshield. I called and had my call promptly answered. The sales rep seemed very knowledgable and explained features of all devices fairly clearly (although some explanations were not very clear). About asking for prices, he read out the website prices and kept on telling me that we would talk about the final price once we configured the whole system. 
    At the end, he came up with a price as per their website and said that "We now need to run your credit in order to offer you the best packages". I resisted multiple times, and told him that I did not want a credit check before actually signing up, and told him so. "In that case, I will not be able to offer you the real packages, and the prices on the website apply". To hear about any additional discounts, I agreed with the credit check which showed I had Excellent credit- the highest category in our system".
    After this he comes up with the "Best Price" which was the same as the one on the website- "the best packages are already on our website". On asking why he ran my credit if there when I had made it pleanty clear that I was just shopping around, he said he needed to know if I would even qualify for their widely publicized packages. Obviously, its a part of their script to get as much information from you as possible before clarifying anything. 
    All in all, its not such a big deal when someone wants to check your credit, but doing it just to get you a step closer to signing a deal is bad ethics. I felt that the call could've gone better if basic rules of honest salesmanship could be followed. They loop you into a 5+ year contract, and really wouldn't sign such a long contract with a firm who tries to trick you even in their very first interaction with you.

    All the persons we dealt with. Duane & Roger were very professional, on time, friendly and helpful. Duane did not try to over sale, took time to explain plan, etcetera. Roger, the installer was very thorough, worked hard through the whole day and his instructions were clean and easily understood. Everything seems to be working fine.
