    Blue Painting
Terrible process from beginning to end. Max provided a quote and promised quality work. Sub contractor (not Blue employee) started job (late), then left for another job, and returned and finished the job late so I was not available for inspection. Many missed locations, painted rocks, damage to gutter downspounts, paint on maintenance free window trim, sections missed on chimney, overall poor to below average work. Not a pro painter, he was a farmer who does this on the side. After denying second 1/2 pymt, Tony shows up and promises to make things right. Returns multiple times to finish the job, which seems ironic given they were 'a few small issues', replaces the damaged gutters and leaves the old ones laying on the side of my home, which are still there. Then threatens legal action if I don't pay, (then sent a pre-lein notice within 5 min of me originally bringing issues to light). Then when sending the final invoice as I am 100% over dealing with them and what I owed isn't worth legal fees, they magically tell me there is 3% fee to accept a electronic pymt. They did however offer to give me a discount of $150 dollars if i promised to remove a negative review and sign a statement that I would not leave any other negative reviews, which I declined. This is not company to due business with, go elsewhere. What they say and promise and what they deliver are not connected.

    ANCHOR IRON CO.
The job could not have gone any better. They came out and measured the steps and porch for distance and angle. It came to 33 ft. There was a 4 week wait time as they constructed the railing and scheduled the installation. It came in three pieces. The iron work could not have been better. It was perfect. The installation went well. They were perfectionists as they insured the dust from boring the holes in the concrete was vacuumed up, they made sure that the material used to secure the posts in the concrete was neat with none going onto the metal posts, they touched up the railing in the few spots where there had been scratches occurring during installation. The finished project was perfect. Could not have done a better job.

    TR Exteriors Llc
I have small rambler that was invaded by a friendly group of woodpeckers who were determined to take up residence in my walls by entering through the convenient doors they created in my cedar shakes. After a year or two of filling the wood peckers new humble abode with spray foam I finally figured something needed to be done. I received a few different quotes to get the project done (actually, I shopped the heck out of it). I wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with the price and the service, and the product that was going to be installed. Tim from TR Exteriors came over to look at my problems with the unpaid residence trying to live in my walls and found them to be equally unwelcome. He spent about the right amount of time discussing the different types of solutions that we could do to resolve the issues. I decided to go with the Chamberlain Oak vinyl siding and sprinted an extra few hundred dollars to get the thicker stuff. I did not feel pressured to go with the thicker siding or go with any other upgrades I chose which was a welcoming feeling. Tim explained the products to me and left me with the book to make the decisions. Tim came in with a very competitive price, the price was about 5900 for my rambler which is about 1000 square foot. I did shortcut on my gables by leaving the existing aluminum up which and it looks real nice. Tim was within a few hundred dollars of everyone else who placed reasonable bids. Tim and his crew were very friendly throughout the whole installation and worked hard to get the project done, and done right. I appreciate the few extra pieces of siding they left that I threw in my attic just in case a dreaded storm comes through as well. My family is now asking for Tims contact information and I am more than happy to share Tims info with them, although there are a big group of woodpeckers that are quite busy looking for a new home.

    WOW 1 DAY PAINTING Southwest
Mike came within two days of my calling him and gave me a quote. Ours was considered a "small" job and several painters had declined to even give me a quote so I really appreciated that he had no problem quoting and doing the job. We scheduled the job for about two weeks out. I elected to get the paint myself but he was willing to paint match the existing trim for me. He told exactly how much paint to get. Two days before, I got an email reminder that they were coming and what the scope of work was. A crew of 4 arrived and did all the painting in 2 hours. They were completely professional and did a great job. They offered advice when I asked about how to do the contrasting colors. None of my plants or patio concrete was damaged and everything was completely cleaned up at the end. It was a really stress free painting experience. I highly recommend them.

    Twin Cities Siding Professionals
I was extremely pleased with the outcome of this project. From the initial pre-construction phase through project completion, the staff at TCSP were very professional, courteous and provided top notch customer service. The project cost was fair and reasonable while the quality of work was stellar. It is rare to find a company this committed to quality while providing such a high level of customer service. It is truly impressive. I commend the entire team at TCSP for a job well done.

    Minnesota Patch Masters
Mitch returned my call in a few days and came right out to do a free estimate.  He was booked at the time but said he would return in a few weeks to finish the job, weather permitting.  He did call back and scheduled a time within the two week window.  He was delayed for the first appointment but promised to comet that next day, which he did.  He was in and out within a couple of hours and did a fine job on the larger cracks.  He was also amenable to filling a few more cracks that I spotted.  The repair looks solid and we should be able to paint next spring.  I appreciated the referral to the business that supplies him paint so that we can do the paint ourselves.  He was very kind and did a fine job.  I would recommend him to others.

This went way better than I thought! This was my first home purchase, and therefor my first fence install process / purchase. Rick took care of the permits, surveyor contact details, scheduling, and even billing questions. Their crew is all in house, without any subs, and were very polite and quick. The posts went in very fast, and they installed the fence / gates about 1.5 weeks later, and we didn't even have to be home which was perfect. The fence itself is very sturdy, and the gates will last for a VERY long time - I don't see them bending or falling off anytime in the future. We have a very steep grade where one of the gates are, and they were still installed straight and sturdy.
I am very happy with my purchase, and glad that there are people out there like Rick who love their job and helping people. I would recommend this company hands down - oh and one more thing - they had better bids than 2 other top Angies fencing companies :)

    Woodland Painting Inc

They were very prompt in returning my emails and seemed at ease communicating via email unlike many contractors.

The bathrooms we had done were ready for remodeling and I did indicate there would be some mud work for these walls.  I would give initial (see below) quality of the mud work a C.  There were a couple areas in one bathroom I thought should have been finished better.  However, most of those were covered with items so I didn't worry about it.   The second bathroom had a paint ridge from older painting and a sheet rock seem that was very obvious.   I discussed this with them and they were willing to work on it but I decided to move on.  In the end, the job was less than the estimate.

I decided the professionalism and quality were good enough for me and we had them come back to do the bigger job of the kitchen, living room, stairway, family room and fix the bathroom.    Our living room is vaulted off a 9 foot wall and the stairway is at the peak so it was a job I wasn't willing to take on.   This all included a fair amount of mud work it all turned out really well.   They did the job for the amount quoted and included painting our front door which wasn't discussed previously.

A couple minor nit-picks.  On the first job I noticed them washing equipment.   First, I wish they had asked as I would have pointed them to the downstairs sink which is the worst in the house vs our remodeled laundry room sink with a cambria counter top and nice sink.   Secondly, I indicated no paint should go down our drain as we have a septic/drain field.   They listened and stopped, and before they even started the next job indicated they wouldn't be washing their equipment on-site.   Its not a big deal but I do wish contractors in general were more aware of taking care of houses with drain fields.

Finally, the order of their tasks might have been better.  As they worked on the bathroom re-do last, they seemed a bit rushed waiting for mud and paint to dry.   So much so they forgot to remove some tape and clean up carefully.

I don't want to end on a negative though.  I thought they did a great job on a difficult house (vaulted ceiling, walls that needed mud work).   They did the jobs for the amounts quoted or less.  I would use them again.

It was great. Very responsive. Had a time crunch due to an inspection with the sale of the house and they made it work and came out the next day. Did great work, very professional and left without a trace of them being there. Would recommend this company.
