    North Point Services Co
Service was prompt, professional, and courteous. The owner contacted me almost immediately after I purchased the service on Angie's list, and he was extremely accommodating of my schedule. His employee showed up and quietly went about his business. When he was done he contacted me to let me know and left. No fuss which was great. I highly recommend this business. They explained everything that needed to be done, and when I asked about fixing some grout he was fair and honest about what needed to be fixed and what could wait until later.

    Empire Today
I liked the quality of the materials and the installers did a great job. I disliked the sales guy that we dealt with, he was just not a very pleasant guy and messed up a lot of our order and it required a lot of arguing to get the pricing corrected.

    Full Tile Installation
It went great. Very hard workers and the shower tile looks fantastic. The drywall repair unfortunately was not well done and was left very rough. They are deffinatley experts when it comes to tile work which is what they do...not drywall.

    Christopher's Masonry & Tile LLC
Christopher gave me an in-home estimate on Monday and was able to schedule the work to begin the following Wednesday.  He was totally punctual, professional and pleasant to work with during the 2 and one half day process and came in slightly under the estimate he provided.  He also offered valuable opinion on how to design the tiles to work in areas of awkward wall and cabinet angles.
In additional to tumbled stone tiles I wanted to add a border of glass mosaic tile.  When a dye lot mistake in the glass was found, he was willing to tear out and rework the next day and stayed right on schedule.
My 30 year old kitchen looks refreshed and beautiful!
My preference would have been to use a grout toned caulk rather than silicone for a more natural look with the matte stone.

    Anton's Floorcovering LLC
Using Anton for our new backsplash went perfect. They removed the old tile and installed the new backsplash. From first contact with Anton on getting a quote to the follow up after the job everything was very timely and professional. The installer Victor did a great job and I barely new he was in the house and there was no mess whatsoever. We would definitely use them again for any future projects. Great experience!

These people are fantastic!  I was so apprehensive about hiring a contractor for this major project because I had heard so many horror stories about contractors.  I was told they never show up on the day or time they say they will and the contract is always way more than the original estimate.  The list went on and on.  I can honestly say none of that was true with this company.  They and any of their associates showed up precisely when they said they would which is important to me because I work nights and have a crazy schedule at the hospital.  The thing that most impressed me was that they took the time to really make sure I got a product that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but one that would work well with my floor plan and unique circumstances.  These people really care about you as a customer. They took over an hour just to do the initial consultation.  I am not familiar with hardwood flooring at all, and they took the time to explain the different types of wood flooring and to go over the pros and cons of each.  Some ideas I had were not practical nor recommended because I am on slab.  They explained this and helped me find alternatives that worked great.  Carol brought over so many samples of wood, and took all the time needed to help me get one I liked.  She then wisely recommended I keep the sample and lay it on my flooring for a few days to see it in a different types of lighting and circumstances to make absolutely certain this is what I wanted.

Their employees and contractors were polite and efficient.  They cleaned up everything after the work was done.  The contractor even made temporary stairs so I could get myself and my dog in and out of the upstairs loft.  I had to live in my home while they were working, but they did everything they could to accommodate me and my pets. The price at the end was very close to the original estimate.  There was a minor overage for gapping of my stairs that took extra work, but I was consulted right away and the charge was reasonable.  These people did everything they could to make life easier for me. They came to my home for consultations and even offered to swing by my place to pick up stuff rather than having me do all the running around.  I am not a wealthy person, and this was not a big job for them.  That being said I felt they treated me with the same respect and courtesy that most companies reserve for VIP clients and large accounts.  The way a company treats its smaller, average clients says a lot about the integrity of that company.  I will definitely be using this company when it is time to do the next phase of my remodeling.  I felt like I got an interior designer consultant and floor installation all in one.

    Norblom Plumbing
I called Amy on Wednesday and she was able to schedule service the next day, which was much appreciated.  The price was reasonable.  He utilized some of our existing parts and got both tasks done in an hour.  We definitely use them again.

    Minnesota Regrout & Tile
Very responsive in giving an estimate. Slow to respond after that. Took a while to get a written estimate, then when we accepted it they disappeared. We called to cancel and found out the shower door had been ordered and was in stock. Took another 3 weeks to get the work scheduled. They told us they were very busy. Work quality was mixed and communications poor. Shower door was installed over two days, no call explaining why. Grout work was incomplete, spots were missed. We had to call to have them back out and it took the shower out of service for a second week. Project was finally completed but I will not use this company again.

.First we went to Floor to go for new carpeting. Jason and the employees were great at helping us choose carpet. They worked with us every step. Came in a few times with questions, fabric samples etc, they always acted glad to see us with exellent attention and courtesy. We later decided to redo our 1959 bathroom. Jason and employees again were awesome. They all made it fun to choose floor and wall tile, trim and gave us a great referral for our granite countertop. Jason came to our home and offered good advice on several things includinghow to get what we wanted within our budget. Installers respected our home and were just as optomistic and friendly. Jason worked with us and gave us great ideas. The whole process was actually fun because of Floors to Go. I would highly recommend them. Oh and our bathroom redo cost less than we thought it would due to Jason's great ideas. It's beautiful.

Twin Cities Tile and Grout Professionals
I sent company an email and they responded quickly. Jim set up an appointment with me and arrived promptly. He looked the tile over and said he didn't think regrouting would fic my problem and recommended that I get some a tile person to look at the problem, which could be the under laying of the tile not being installed right or bonded to the sub floor correctly. Jim was very professional and responsive.
