We have had Andrew here before and, as usual, he did a wonderful job! We had a very long list of items to be done (6 hours) and he tackles each item with skill and enthusiasm. Our largest project was the replacement of upper deck rails that had rotted over time. With preplanning, Andrew cut new prepainted 2X4s to size, repaired the upright posts, installed the rails, and sealed the ends to avoid future water damage. Our old worn out florescent under cabinet lights were replaced with new LED fixtures making the kitchen bright and functional again. Andrew works very efficiently and always cleans up at the end so you don't even know he was there. We highly suggest Andrew for anything you need done around the house!

Fantastic. Andrew is professional, expedient, courteous and did terrific work. He showed up on time, did what he said he was going to do and exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough on how good of a job he did and how professional he was. I will hire him again.

Fantastic! Mike came out and quoted the job - great use of technology as he was able to quote on his iPad while in my home and send me the electronic quote before he left. Both Zach & Guy were amazing during the installation, very knowledgeable, fair and thorough. Bob did a great job of communicating scheduling, timing, etc. Their pricing is extremely fair - I rated it "good" only because electrical work, by nature, is a bit pricey. I would definitely have them back for work in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

When I called and talked to a scheduling person they said the electrician would come out and inspect, but a basic install of the two rooms would range from $700 - $1,200 if I wanted just the canisters wired and tied to the light switch in each room. It would go higher if I wanted him to install the fans in addition to the canisters. The electrician showed up on time and was professional and clean. He begin inspecting the entire home so I waited until he finished. The home was built in 1992 and has an unfinished basement. We just had an inspection because we just purchased the home so didn't expect any surprises. After an 1.5 hours the electrician finally shared with me three quotes. The first quote was over $14,000 and included running a new draw from the outside power feed into the home, new breaker box and rewire all electrical outlets, and finally install canisters for ceiling fans. The second quote was to rewire all electrical outlets and install canisters for ceiling fans and came to about $6,000. The final quote was to just install the canisters for the ceiling fans for over $2,000. I chose not to do any of the work and paid the $65 fee for his visit. I had another company come out to wire the canisters and install the ceiling fans in both bedrooms for around $800. He inspected the outlets and electrical box and said nothing needs to be replaced and meets code. If I decide to do any remodeling in the basement I have plenty of room in the electrical box and at most may need to add a second panel, but didnt' agree that anything else needed be done to any of the electrical service in the home. I will never do business with Boy's Electric again because I just can't afford their service and feel they are just looking for ways to expand the amount of work they need to do.

Not much to write here as Anisia's service was top notch, professional, timely and courteous. It was a good experience overall to get my bathroom fan replaced by Anisia. As a side note, I had earlier bought a "$69 for 200" service from Randy's electric (also at Angies List) but their electrician wanted - hold your breath... $1139 for switch to mains investigation and fixing of why my bath fan was not working. I laughed out loud at the insanity of that quote and had him install a spare ceiling fan into my bedroom instead (It costed me more than my coupon price, but I took that in stride). Goes to tell you that you mustn't drop your guard when working with a contractor you haven't used before. That same fan was replaced by Anisia for $249 and that included a new quiet fan as well as labor.
My overall experience with Anisia was hugely positive and I rate them highly for that reason.

You be the judge. Scheduled for 4/10/2014 to arrive between 11:00 and Noon. Mark arrived on time. We reviewed the work that was too be completed. He immediately stated that he didn't think he could install bath fan, he may need to go into attic. I told him Anisa had replaced the bath fan in the master last year without any problems. The light fixture in the main bath was installed without problem. When discussing the installation of the vanity lights in the master bathroom I explained that we were replacing an 8 light bar with 2 separate fixtures. He said " you want them side by side", and I said "Yes, one above each sink".  After 2 hours Mark told me he couldn't install the bath exhaust fan because he needed an adapter and they don't carry parts. When we looked at the master bath I told him the lights were not installed correctly. He had installed them abutting each other instead of one over each sink. Mark stated that he couldn/t correct the problem on 4-10 because he needed to get to his next appt. He told me that he would call Joel (his boss) on 4-10-14 and tell him that they needed to re-install the lights when he came back to install exhaust fan. Joel would call to schedule an appt for this work. I left a message on voice mail for Joel that day. On 4-14-14 I sent an email Joel because I had not heard back from him. He replied stating that he had tried to call but was unable to get through, and gave 2 dates that would work for their schedule. I replied that I needed a Thursday (a day I can take off work). On 4-15 I sent another email asking if there was any update on scheduling as he hadn't replied to my 4-14 email. On 4-16 I sent another email asking if there was any update on scheduling as he hadn't replied to my 4-14 or 4- 15 email. ( I had given him 3-4 different ways to contact me) On 4-17 I called Joel and he said Thursday, April 24 between 1-2 p.m. would work "perfect in the schedule".  On 4-24 at at 1:38 p.m Mark (the electrian for Anisa) called and asked "Did Joel call you?" I told him "No". Mark stated that Joel was supposed to call me to reschedule as Mark was running late. After some discussion Mark stated that he would try to come to my home that afternoon, and that he would call me to let me know later. Of course I never heard from anyone. On Friday 4-25 I called Mark and he told me that Joel had told him that he had  called me on 4-24 and rescheduled the appt for the following Thursday. That had never happened. I have not heard from Anisa Electric since.

5-8-2014  In response:Three different phone numbers were given to Anisa electric in all of my contacts with them. Still have not heard anything from them. Not surprised.

In and out in less than 45 minutes.  I heard some sawing so I know he needed to expand the hole for the new fan, but it was really clean afterwards.  Great service, great price, highly recommended!

The crew was fantastic!  They arrived when they said they would, they were thoughtful about light placement and offered suggestions and tips throughout the project.  The bid for the project was competitive and did not increase at the end of the project.  All in all, they were great to work with.  We have had them come back several times for other small projects.

Looking for someone to install ceiling fan.  Found the Melon Man, Andrew, on Angie's list.  Gave him a call.  He quoted a price over the phone.  I explained that this was a very high vaulted ceiling and he may want to look at it.  He came over the next day and gave us a bid of $150.00 as he was going to have to bring in ladders and a board to stand on to install the fan.  He scheduled us a week later.  He was very prompt and arrived when he said he would.  Ceiling fan is now installed and working perfectly - would highly recommend him.

Andrew was very prompt in responding to my inquiry.  He was able to squeeze us in on a weekend, which we appreciated.  He was professional in all regards, including calling us the morning of the service to let us know he would be 30 minutes late.  He was quick and cleaned up perfectly.  He was even able to add the faucet installation as a last-minute request.  Highly recommend and will definitely use him again.
