    It's a good and bad experience. The office gives information that this won't happen but when the technician perform the service, the office advise was not followed. They did the service but they didn't perform the customer service.

    I filled out online request for quote and my phone was ringing in less than 60 seconds with them calling me. Person calling was very polite but very obvious he was reading from a script. I let him complete his pitch and he gave me a quote (with out asking me any questions) and he proudly stated "for my zip code the price is $599". I politely declined. The reason I originally called was thought it was more of a local company than the franchise competitors. However, the phone number area they called me from was 508 are code which is Massachusetts and I'm in Minnesota. I think I'll keep looking for another company to do this work.

    I emailed Par 3 on a Thursday and they immediately emailed back to me. We set up a time on the following Tuesday and they came on Monday (they texted to make sure it was ok). The work was done quickly, no known issues.

    One week the mower cut my lawn too short and it killed the grass, resulting in tan (scorched) stripes. In the back yard, the scorch marks were parallel lines. But in the front, the scorched grass was in LOOPS, which was an embarrassment. I contacted the owner and he asked for photos. I complied, then he argued that scorching (i.e., KILLING the grass) was ���normal���, and refused to credit that week���s fee. I had taken the time to document everything in a long email, but his responses were brief and dismissive. Calling on the phone didnt help, either. I had set up autopay at the beginning of the season, so I decided to cancel that because I wanted to take back control of my payments. So I asked him to cancel the CC autopay and to resume sending (paper) invoices by surface mail instead. But he failed to comply with either request. He KEPT BILLING my credit card AUTOMATICALLY and emailing invoices that showed as auto-paid. I could not believe he had the nerve to KEEP my credit card number, OR to USE it against my written directive. This was completely UNETHICAL, but he did not care. I told him that I would report him to the MN Attorney General���s office, the BBB, and Angie���s List. But that did nothing. No response. So I had to take the time to write reports to all 3, and call my credit card bank to report his unauthorized charge. I still cannot believe he had the gall to do this. I had to wonder if it was because I was a single woman,and he thought I would just give up; wonder if he would have treated a man the same way. Either way, this was a GROSS MISUSE/ ABUSE of customer financial information, and I urge everyone to avoid this business at all costs. (Note re: photos: I tried to upload 4, but AngiesList would not accept more than 2.) (Note re: cost: $25+tax was just the weekly mowing charge.)

    Prepaid to have yard done. Took over a month for them to come so lawn never had a chance to breathe before snow fell by the time they came. I guess wouldn't have mattered much as the aeration holes were not more than a half to 3/4" deep - what a waste of money. I called post visit as they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee - I guess that is false advertising. They said the person who did yard thought the thatch cut into how deep holes went. Must be strongest, thickest thatch on earth. And weird was 100% uniform hole depth in yard - doubt whole yard was thatch. Such a waste of money and now can't do again until next fall. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They obviously pass out big discounts to aerate and do a brutal job - guy was here for 20 minutes. What a joke.

    Jim is great. He's cut my grass for 4+ years as well as cleaning gutters, weed control for my yard, dealing with my irrigation system as well as larger projects like regrading my landscaping to keep water away from my foundation. The work gets done and he's responsive to my many requests.

    I have used Green Horizons for lawn mowing service for 5 years now. I originally hired due to their pricing being lower than other companies quotes. I rationalized the lackluster mowing with the low price. I can't justify using them anymore, even with them being the lowest priced. The quality of work is poor and continually declining. They rarely do edging and often miss either strips of grass or do not do a whole section (i.e. my side yard). The guys that do the work are good guys, but are always in a rush to get out of there. They likely have too many jobs to do each day so try to get through them quickly, with quality suffering.

    We had a wonderful experience with Luna's Outdoor Solutions. We previously used them on a small project at our former house (installed paver border on driveway). We took on a large backyard landscaping project at our new house that included two patios, a fireplace, regrading the yard, landscape borders and plantings. We got multiple quotes but were happy to go with Luna's again. The team worked very hard and produced wonderful results. Pascual and team provide great input, worked with me on ideas, and ensure total customer satisfaction. Not only would I not hesitate to recommend Luna's Outdoor Solutions, I won't use any one but them for any of my landscaping needs going forward.

    I've hired Greg's team to trim the hedges around my property for the past 3 years. They do an amazing job and cleanup is always great too. This year my neighbors even commented on how good they look. Will keep using them!

    This company does the job they are asked but did not seem to really impress above and beyond. They appear to be smaller family owned company and did very good job at responding to e-mails. Will also mention have online payment system which would be viewed as very convenient for some but I was a tad annoyed with since can only pay by electronic check.(no credit cards). Their prices are very competitive and they showed up each week as agreed. I will mention that I have gate to the backyard that needs to be closed when leaving and they always did that and never had any issue there at all which in my eyes (and assuming any other dog owners) was a big plus.
