    DABELLA EXTERIORS LLC
We are very pleased with our new shower. It is well crafted, functional and looks beautiful. Thanks to Jessica, the ordering process was easy, and the DaBella team was very diligent in addressing our needs and concerns. The installation crew, headed by Travis, was prompt and courteous. We had a couple of structural "hiccups", and Travis did an incredible job making the needed adjustments. When we found ourselves under a time constraint, Jessica facilitated getting the project completed. We appreciate the additional time she took with us. She responded to our calls in a timely fashion and made sure that the project was completed to our satisfaction.

    Hoyer Construction LLC
We contracted with Hoyer Construction on July 16, 2017, for partial renovation of the house we recently bought in Rochester, MN. The reno was supposed to take about 2 weeks, starting in early September, with completion by October 1, when we would move in. Hoyer had free and unobstructed access to the house as we were not living there yet. The reno consisted of converting one bedroom into a den by removing a closet, constructing a room-wide closet in the master bedroom, converting a secondary bedroom into two closets and a new three-quarter bath, removing popcorn ceilings, and painting all the affected areas. We experienced no fewer than 4 delays. The project was not finished as promised on October 1, October 20, October 27, and November 13, when we could no longer delay moving in, when we moved their tools and equipment from the house to the garage. Four subsequent visits in November and into December were required to complete the shower installation and remedy its leaks. Our experience tested our patience and was both disappointing and aggravating for various reasons: failure to meet promised commitment dates for completion, as described; lack of attention to detail (well documented instructions about paint colors, louvered not panel closet doors, etc); carelessness (for example, discarding cabinet knobs for new vanity); lack of professionalism (for example, painting over old picture anchors instead of removing them and sloppy installation of switchplate, as shown); general ineptitude and failure to follow instructions (primarily pertaining to complicated installation of shower stall, starting with not removing the plastic coating before assembly and installation, as shown); and on and on.

    Luxury Bath Remodleing
Be careful! Luxury Bath may do good work--I don't know because they never did any actual work for us--but they still found a way to charge us for their own estimation mistake. We signed a contract and paid half, based on their original estimate, but then they said they couldn't find a tub to fit our space. We wanted out at that point, but they had already ordered the materials for the surround. They demanded that we pay for part of the materials, even though they couldn't do the job as agreed. In the end, after much arguing, I paid them a significant amount of money just to get the rest of our $ back and put this bad experience behind us. In the end we went with a different contractor who used real tile, and the result (and experience) has been great--plus we saved money!

    Tile Superstore & more
Wanda Hofstad was amazing. She helped my husband and I pick out tile for a bathroom and was extremely patient while I changed my mind and color scheme more than once. We love the stock tile we ended up with. I ordered more after the fact and somehow realized I had the wrong shade after I had brought 10 boxes into the house. They went out of their way to deliver the correct color. This saved me a huge headache because the installer was here and needed the tile asap. They provided multiple bids on granite countertops, offering a variety of stones and the option to use a remnant for the center island, saving us a lot of money over the 3 other companies we had bids with. The guys in the granite shoppe were very knowledgable helpful. I love the job they did for us!

Jeff Steiner Home Repair & Remodel LLC
Jeff is a man of integrity and the work he does is top notch. He far exceeded my expectation and was honest about what work needed to be done and the cost was very affordable. He may not be the quickest when it comes to getting the work done because of all the projects he works on, but you will be satisfied with the end product.

    Seitz Construction
We would cheerfully recommend Seitz Construction for your next project. First, they were willing to be flexible. After we had a estimate for our job we thought of some changes we would like to make. They were glad to accommodate us and make the changes. When the work was being done they were always courteous to us as homeowners and they always worked at reasonable times and never wanted us to be ready to let them into our house at 6:30 AM or anything like that. Also, they let us know ahead of time when they would be coming to work and they never just failed to show up. Further, they tried to minimize the mess and they were careful to put down coverings to avoid tracking all over our floors. The actual work was definitely done carefully and correctly. In fact, the careful attention to details was amazing. I believe I am something of a perfectionist and a couple times I know the work was done more exactingly than I believe I would have done it myself. To be sure they did a good job they also used materials that were more difficult for them to work with, but would be better and last longer. This is clearly a case where we would have probably never known the difference but they wanted to do the job right. Finally, we had an unexpected chance to see how Seitz really feels about doing a quality job and keeping customers happy. Right after we thought our job was finished we found a very small but annoying problem. It was fixed the next workday morning. We thought that was amazingly good response to deal with a problem.

    Elias Construction LLC
Excellent job . Remodel was timely and on budget.
Subcontractors were top notch and worked well with us.
We had used Elias Construction before for a complete kitchen remodel and was so impressed that we contacted them for a bathroom remodel.

    KC Star
He was very friendly and knowledgeable.  We even went to Lowes to discuss further bathroom options for the remodel for my client.  We were supposed to receive an email after Thanksgiving with an estimate for the remodel.  I didn't get an estimate so I texted and asked when we should expect it.  No response.  I texted again a few days later saying we needed the estimate by Monday as we were going to gather other estimates as well.  Again, no response.  Not even a text saying he was too busy to take on the job or anything.  I really liked Ken but the lack of response was really troubling to my client and myself as well.  I'm sure he does great work if you can get a hold of him.

Mickey is a consumate professional!  He is clear and direct in communication. He follows up and responds to e-mails and phone calls promptly! I worked with him twice before when I redid 2 bathrooms/laundry room and later when I updated our family room and bedrooms. Most recently was my kitchen renovation. I felt extremely comfortable knowing he would stay on time and budget and would listen to me, even when I changed my mind on a detail. This time, though he was always available if needed, the on-site activities were managed by Nate, who also did an excellent job and was unfailingly polite. During this reno, I noted a flaw in the flooring in the laundry room (from prior reno). Mickey managed the warranty and contacts with the flooring people and it was replaced at no cost to me. Renovations are stressful, but working with Mickey made it easier than I imagined.

    Jim Siebenaler Construction

Jim Siebenaler Construction is absolutely the best!  This is the second large project Jim has done for us.  He previously replaced our front porch.  This time, we gutted the  main floor bathroom.

Jim is reliable, professional, a perfectionist about his work, a good listener, and does everything in his power to please the customer.  Jim and his crew installed new walls, tub, toilet, vanity, fixtures, plumbing, electrical, lighting, tile floor, subway tile shower stall, subway tile up to chair rail height, and  a custom shower door.  Everyone who worked on the bathroom was top-notch. The entire process took less than two weeks!

The space is small, but Jim created a beautiful built-in shelf that is made of subway tile and glass shelves.  There is a white subway tiled shower stall (tub to ceiling)  with two lines of black pencil tile accent that is one of my favorite touches  in the room along with the built-in shelves.

Jim and his crew turned a worn-out bathroom  that had a stained tub surround, no fixed shower, and peeling wallpaper into a spa-like room that has an Art Deco feel.  The new bathroom matches our 1920's house perfectly. We highly recommend Jim Siebenaler Construction.
