Wanda Hofstad was amazing. She helped my husband and I pick out tile for a bathroom and was extremely patient while I changed my mind and color scheme more than once. We love the stock tile we ended up with. I ordered more after the fact and somehow realized I had the wrong shade after I had brought 10 boxes into the house. They went out of their way to deliver the correct color. This saved me a huge headache because the installer was here and needed the tile asap. They provided multiple bids on granite countertops, offering a variety of stones and the option to use a remnant for the center island, saving us a lot of money over the 3 other companies we had bids with. The guys in the granite shoppe were very knowledgable helpful. I love the job they did for us!

    Elias Construction LLC
Excellent job . Remodel was timely and on budget.
Subcontractors were top notch and worked well with us.
We had used Elias Construction before for a complete kitchen remodel and was so impressed that we contacted them for a bathroom remodel.

    Jim Siebenaler Construction

Jim Siebenaler Construction is absolutely the best!  This is the second large project Jim has done for us.  He previously replaced our front porch.  This time, we gutted the  main floor bathroom.

Jim is reliable, professional, a perfectionist about his work, a good listener, and does everything in his power to please the customer.  Jim and his crew installed new walls, tub, toilet, vanity, fixtures, plumbing, electrical, lighting, tile floor, subway tile shower stall, subway tile up to chair rail height, and  a custom shower door.  Everyone who worked on the bathroom was top-notch. The entire process took less than two weeks!

The space is small, but Jim created a beautiful built-in shelf that is made of subway tile and glass shelves.  There is a white subway tiled shower stall (tub to ceiling)  with two lines of black pencil tile accent that is one of my favorite touches  in the room along with the built-in shelves.

Jim and his crew turned a worn-out bathroom  that had a stained tub surround, no fixed shower, and peeling wallpaper into a spa-like room that has an Art Deco feel.  The new bathroom matches our 1920's house perfectly. We highly recommend Jim Siebenaler Construction.

I had to leave and pointed out what I needed done. Also had to ask him to remove the loose grout and calking. When I returned only part of it was done.
I ended getting some grout, tools and finishing the job.

    HAMLEN HOME IMPROVEMENT
It went very well  -  everyone who sees the remodeled bathrooms is impressed.  The provider showed up on time, kept me informed of time, dates and progress.  I was able to leave the house for the provider to come and go without any concerns.  The quality of the work was professional with extraordinary attention to details......corners are square, cuts are precise, no flaws to be found. Even though the work spanned a couple months, the "mess" was kept to a minimum and I appreciated that since the work spanned the holiday season.
I also appreciated the creative side of the provider.  It is hard for me to visualize how some idea or plan is going to look.  Trevor spent time with me discussing the best way to lay the tile; took careful measurements to make sure the design would work, and the results show that.
I would certainly use this contractor again for future projects!

    TILE WORKS
Tile work was excellent. They were able to lay the tile perfectly level on my uneven cement floor. However, I ordered the 12 by 24 inch tile and wanted it laid at a 50/50 split. The salesperson insisted that they had to lay it at a 30/70 ratio due to the length of the tile. The owner said they could do the 50/50 pattern if that was what I wanted and that's what i've seen in every application in real life or on HGTV. However, I forgot to confirm that and it was laid at the 30/70. It's ok because it's just a small laundry room. I think the real reason they want to lay it that way is that it is easier for the tile layer. Don't have to be quite as precise perhaps.
So, just be clear on what you want and stick to it.

    Degeus Tile and Granite
First of all they were very busy; however, as accomodating as they could be which I appreciated. We were not all that pleased with the job done by the person installing the cement board; however, the person who came to do the tile (Shane) more than made up for his predecessor. Shane was prompt, professional, friendly, and accomodating. He was very organized and tidy throughout the process. He cleaned up perfectly after his work and the tile job is beautiful!! ! He also had an assistant one of the days whose name I believe was Kurt? He was also very pleasant and courteous.
All in all is was a very positive experience and I highly recommend them. My husband and I are very impressed with Shane and he represents his company well!
    Thank you Shane!

    New Directions Flooring
It was wonderful, absolutely. There wasn't anything wrong. They were prompt and caring. They did a good job. They were very professional and clean. Their pricing was reasonable. We had cracked tiles and instead of them replacing the whole floor, they had a good solution to keep it looking nice but not break our pocketbook. We couldn't get anybody else to come out. We think it was maybe too little of a job and they didn't want to mess with it. But, New Directions came out the next day, he was trying to think what would be the best for me. I really felt like they cared. We didn't get any other estimate, we couldn't get anybody else to come out. The one big company in town responded after we'd already had New Directions come out.

Last May I called him to come and give an estimate for bathroom tile-He did not get back to me right away and said it had something to do with his grandmother. Was also late with a second phone exchange; although he finally did come and look at the bathroom. We did not do the work last year as we found out our daughter was getting married, so we postponed the job until this year. I called him again, he said that he would be in the neighborhood and would be at my house shortly after lunch. He did not show and did not call. How unprofessional!

    TILE SHOP OF ROCHESTER
They were wonderful and did and excellent job. The woman I worked with at their showroom, Wanda, was extremely helpful in showing me options and helping me choose the flooring and tile. The quality of both products is excellent.  The installation of both the flooring and the backsplash went smoothly, and they cleaned up very well after themselves.
