    Warners' Stellian Appliances
The company cannot repair what it sells to consumers. We were sold a service warranty on a washer/dryer unit we purchased from the company. The company sent a repair service out to work on the washer/dryer unit but the service man could not repair it despite working on several times. We waited over a month for parts and for service work. The company cannot repair what it sells to consumers and I definitely recommend against doing any business with them.

Part was ordered and Mike came on Saturday to install it even tho he normally does not work on weekends. He was also preparing to leave on vacation so I really appreciated him coming when he did. I had a similar problem many years ago and that company charged double than Mike did.

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
Mike was so great! He went through a bunch of troubleshooting with me over the phone to make sure there wasn't some easy fix I could just do by myself. My washer needed a few replacement parts, so he came out to my house to fix it. He was super helpful and professional. Showed up right on time, fixed the problem quickly, and now the washer is running good as new. 10/10 would recommend and hire again. Thanks, Mike!

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
Fast and friendly service -- Mike was out of town when I first called, so I tried another repair shop in town--they suggested my husband or I (I didn't give any indication that I lived with anyone else) try to just take the freezer door off and defrost/unclog the drain myself before having them come out.... I decided to wait it out.  Mike got back to me first thing on the day he returned, and immediately thought it might be a recall issue based on the age/brand of my fridge. He ordered the part and arrived first thing this morning install the new drain.  I will definitely call him again for my appliance repair needs.

Jeff Steiner Home Repair & Remodel LLC
Subsequent to the disposal job, I had a very unsatisfactory interaction over a second job I wanted him to do. See my next analysis of that interaction. For the disposal job, I give him high marks. For the second job, not so.

Bob was on time for time for the service call. He new what was wrong in just a few minutes.
He repaired the refrigerator because he had the parts in his service van. Very friendly and polite service.

    Appliance Village Co
"BUYER BEWARE!!!  We bought a Samsung washer and dryer from Appliance Village because they had a good reputation in Rochester.  Our Kenmore washer had finally died and I wanted a large washer so I could wash the bedspreads. When my husband and I first arrived, the salesman did not ask what we were interested in. I tried to tell him what I was specifically looking for in a washer but he kept interrupting me with his sales pitch. I finally told him, "I want the largest washer for the bedspreads that will fit in my space." We bought a front loader Samsung washer and dryer for about $2,000. The salesman really wanted us to buy the extended warranty, but as a Consumer Reports reader, I told him "We will know if we got a lemon very soon." When the Appliance Village installer came to install the appliances, the installers left trash (not a whole lot) on the lawn. When I went to test the washer, it did not work. Discovered they did not plug the washer in. Not only did the washer leak water out the front, the dryer rattled very loud until it heated up. We called Appliance Village, telling them we had lemons and they made us go through the whole process of contacting Samsung for service. Quite a paper trail. It took 2 repairman to tell us the dryer drum "was not round" and needed to be replaced. Today the repairman came out. He replaced the drum but it is not the drum that comes with our model. It looks used!!!!! And the repairman did not hook up the dryer vent and the laundry room felt like a sauna when I ran a test load. The washer...the repairman said our washer was not leveled and that was why it leaked water out the front. Well,,,,I ran a load after he left and it still leaks water. My husband and I will pay a visit to Appliance Village tomorrow and tell them what we think of them. After this, I really miss our local Sears store. We have bought Kenmore appliances forever and they run forever. The installers and repairmen were top notch. So, if you go to Appliance Village I hope you have a better experience than what we are having. It is not over yet. I may report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Mike showed up in the time frame he had determined earlier in the day.  He was very friendly and thorough in his work.  His diagnosis of a bad water pump was made quickly.  He told us he would let us know later today when the pump would be in.  He left us with his business card and told us to call with any questions.  We felt very comfortable with him and would definitely call him for further appliance repairs in the future.

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
My clothes dryer just stopped working. Mike showed up on time and had it working within minutes. It turned out that it was a blown thermal fuse within the dryer. He took the time to explain to my how it probably happened. The exhaust duct within the dryer was fairly plugged with lint, and also there was an old fabric softener sheet stuck to the exhaust port inside the barrel. The part and labor costs together were less than the trip charge to show up!
I would definitely call them again if I needed repairs.

    Bob's Appliance Repair Service LLC
I was HIGHLY disappointed with my experiences with Bob's Appliance in Rochester. When I called I was treated as if I were an
inconvenience. They did not keep appointments or show up when promised, and left me with an $80 bill and a washer that still didn't work. When I called back and tried to talk to a manager, I was told that the reason the washer wasn't fixed was because of me. I love helping out small businesses and was planning on using them for all of my rental property repairs. However, I will be taking my business elsewhere and never using this business for any other repair needs. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in order to resolve my complaints.
