  • They're too large of a company and they don't care what they do. They just do what they want to do and if you want to cancel, they tell you fine, go ahead and cancel. They're not willing to deal with you at all. They also make mistakes. We suspended our internet service for the winter. We came back the next spring and instead of suspending, they cancelled everything. And they could not provide service anymore at a reasonable speed. I called another company and was going to start using the new company. I called them to cancel service and told them I was going to be using a different company, and all of a sudden, they were able to give us better service. They provided a higher service, but it still slows down quite a bit.

  • The service person was fine and did a good job.
    Service since then has been riddled with intermittent problems and Comcast does not want to send out a service person.
    The support folks just read a script and are not helpful to those of us with any computer networking experience.
    I would highly suggest looking for options with your phone company in the Twin Cities.
    Century Link had fiber connections at our last home and we never had an issue.
    USI also provides speedy options in the Twin Cities for some locations.

  • All three services are part of a package. I am satisfied with their services, but not completely. There are issues once a while, but they are polite, though. Their prices are high. I will continue to use them in the future as I do not have another choice.

  • We first learned of James Allard and his company, Technical Reinforcents, through Angie's List in 2005. I decided to give him a try over other companies that were suggested to me by the Angie's rep,, because of his offer to either fix the problem or not charge for the service call. When he first came to look at our old computer, I was a bit taken back at seeing such a young guy. It did not take long to see that he really knows his way around computers. We have used only his company's services since then and have had a number of problems solved by them. They seem very committed to holding on to you as a customer and have shown us this in the following ways. The technician, Adrain, who has worked most often with us, works quickly and is willing to answer any and all questions, or to explain just what he is doing to solve whatever the problem is. I have never had the feeling that they are dragging out the service call to run up a larger bill. If I forgot to ask something, or something comes up after the call, they answer emails quickly and provide answers when possible. With your bill, there is a service evaluation form that you can send in describing your satisfaction, or lack of, for their review. I have emailed James asking for advice on purchasing this product or that and the answer comes back pretty quickly and if needed goes into some detail. Computers, like cars, homes, and like things, sooner or later need servicing. I plan to use Technical Reinforcements as long as I am using the computer, and their service continues at the high level that I have experienced over the past 5 years.

  • I think they are great. I had a problem when I moved into this house. The guy who had lived there before did computer software and had the whole house wired for networking. Another company came out and they couldn't even get one line working in my house. I wanted a land line so I called Comcast and they got everything working for me. I called them once asking about their high def and the representative looked at my bill and said that he could save me some money on my bill and still get me the high definition, and he did. He saved me ten dollars and got me high definition.

  • THEY HAVE A VARIETY OF SERVICES THEY OFFER, INCLUDING GIVING US ACCESS TO THE INTERNET. THERE SERVICE IS SO POWERFUL THAT WHEN OTHER SERVICES WENT DOWN DURING MAJOR STORMS, THEY WERE STILL UP AND RUNNING.
