    Steve Hunt Small Engine Services
My Snow blower would not start when the temp gets below 30. I would have to bring it in the house for a few hours which my wife wasn't too thrill about. I used to take my lawn mower and snow blower to Bang's. Steve picked up my snow blower the same day I contacted him and had it fixed and returned the next afternoon. Everyone else i called had a 2-3 week wait. The problem ended up being a gummed up Carb. The total cost was ~ $150. I would use his services again.

Jeff was my service provider. Diagnosed problem. Replaced cylinder head on Craftsman DLT3000 Briggs & Stratton Intek 18.5HP OHV lawn tractor. Performed post repair check-up & ran mower. They come out to your house & have portable workshop in trailer so no worries about pick-up & delivery costs! Yea!!! Jeff was swell & showed me why my mower had suddenly died. Got the replacement part within an hour & had job completed in another hour. I absolutely would hire this company again!

Called to make an appointment.  I emailed the make and model number to them.
We got an email verification with the date.  We also got a reminder email a day before service.
We left the mower outside because we did not know exactly when he would be coming, however, he got delayed and came in the evening, which was okay because then we were home.    He seemed to know what he was doing and it took him about a half hour to do the routine maintenance.

I was very pleased and will definitely use this service again. I have a large snowblower that will fit in my minivan, but I need help to get it loaded. So, based on ratings and convenience I tried this mobile repair service. I inquired through their website. I indicated I was in no hurry, but they responded faster than I expected and were able to fit me in before the big snowfall on Feb. 20. I'd had trouble starting the snowblower. Also, found that I had a gas leak. Jeff got the motor running, found and repaired the leak and replaced a gasline valve that was questionable. I'm a curious sort, and he was great about answering my questions and explaining things. He identified that my shutoff switch was shot. I was pleased that he took a practical, free approach to giving me an alternative method of shutting off the unit instead of offering to search for expensive parts for an old snowblower. I felt the charge for his service was very reasonable and saved me a lot of hassle and time by doing the repair at my house.

    Mobile Engine Doctor
I'm one of the few Minnesotans that doesn't own a truck or an SUV.  So transporting a mower to a shop is a bit of a chore in a four door sedan.  Since the Mobile Engine Doctor comes to my home, it seemed like a perfect solution to my problem.  He showed up at the appointed time towing his shop in a trailer.  He got to work on my driveway and in about an hour the mower was tuned up.  He changed the oil, filter, and spark plug; sharpened and balaned the blade; and cleaned up the mower.  It's running better now than it has in a long time.  The price was about the same as taking my mower in to have it tuned up.

    AL'S TRUE VALUE HARDWARE
Brad was able to get the problem fixed faster than I expected. His estimates were accurate and the charges were less than I'd originally expected. He explained things very clearly over the phone, was very friendly, and was very helpful. The snowblower runs great and better than it has in 20 years, and with his improvement on the ability to drain gas, should be good for many years to come. I'll definitely recommend him ot anyone needing repair work on such equipment.

After the first major snowfall of the year, we discovered that our snow blower did not work. We called the mobile engine doctor and he happened to be in our area that day and was able to come out. I love the fact that they come to your home, as neither of our cars have towing capability. We were leaving for an appointment, so we spoke with him briefly on his way to our house and left the snow blower outside. He left a detailed explanation of the problem, fixed it right the first time, and charged a modest amount for the work. We will definitely use this company again!
