    American Appliance Service
Fantastic service! I was a little wary about using a company that isn't factory authorized by sub-zero, but now I can't imagine using anyone else. They were accommodating, friendly, efficient, and considerate. They even offered on their own to come out on a Saturday (without extra charge) so we wouldn't have to go without the refrigerator until Monday. They worked around our schedule and did a fantastic job!

    Appliance Works LLC
I am a Rochester resident, and was scheduled by my home repair warranty company (American Home Shield) to have my oven repaired by Appliance Works. On March 23, a technician (actually the owner Mike Brudelie) attempted a repair but failed as it required a replacement control panel. On April 7, he again attempted a repair, but failed a second time and had to order a replacement ignition board. After several weeks with no contact regarding the status of this second component, I reached out on April 27 to Appliance Works. I received confirmation from the receptionist that the part was in hand and that "I was next on their call list". I was scheduled for an appointment 8-12 the following tuesday (April 28). After no one showed to make the repair, I followed-up and rescheduled for the following tuesday (May 4). Again, the entire business day passed (9-5) with no show, no contact. Finally, I emailed the owner (Mike Brudelie) and was advised that "he had literally checked the part in 5 minutes before" receiving my email, and that it was impossible that I could have had my oven serviced as his technician did not have the part. Further adding to this bizarre interaction is the fact that there is no technician. Appliance Works is a one-man shop, as confirmed by the receptionist, previous poor reviews, and the fact that the owner himself has shown up twice to my home to attempt repairs. At this point, I have cancelled the service request, as it has been 47 days since contracting them for this job. I am seeking a refund of the service fee paid out to Appliance Works as well as compensation for the 2 solid work days lost in these uncertain times. If you look through online reviews of Appliance Works, you can find numerous examples of the same instances of multiple weeks of no communication; massive delays in ordering necessary components; and failure to effect correct repairs.

    In Home Repairs Appliance Service
Part was ordered and Mike came on Saturday to install it even tho he normally does not work on weekends. He was also preparing to leave on vacation so I really appreciated him coming when he did. I had a similar problem many years ago and that company charged double than Mike did.

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
Mike was so great! He went through a bunch of troubleshooting with me over the phone to make sure there wasn't some easy fix I could just do by myself. My washer needed a few replacement parts, so he came out to my house to fix it. He was super helpful and professional. Showed up right on time, fixed the problem quickly, and now the washer is running good as new. 10/10 would recommend and hire again. Thanks, Mike!

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
Replaced a worn dryer belt and some bearings. He told me that I didnt need the bearings replaced at that time, but it would save me a repair later. Not pushy at all. Afterwards, I looked up the price of the parts online...he was VERY comperable. DID NOT overcharge for parts. He did a great job and I will use him again if anything else breaks.

    Appliance Village Co
We had a Frigidaire dishwasher that, at only one year old, started to make strange noises.  We called Frigidaire since the dishwasher was still under warranty.  They gave us the name of Appliance Village as a recommended repair service.  Upon calling appliance village, the person on the other end was very courteous and efficiently scheduled a service appointment with a 2 and 1/2 hour range (i.e. the repair person will be there between 2pm and 4:30pm).  We were also told that Craig would be our repair man.  On the scheduled day of service, Craig was at our house promptly at 2:00pm and began to diagnose the problem.  Within 15 minutes he found that a bearing on the motor had dislodged and that we would need a new motor.  Despite being frustrated with the Frigidaire product, we were pleased with Craig's professionalism and speed.  He charged us $45 for the visit, but said that this amount could be applied toward the labor total upon completion of the repair if we chose to use Appliance Village.  After contacting Frigidaire and getting a parts concession number, we contacted Appliance Village once again and they promptly scheduled Craig to visit us to complete the repair.  The part was available within a week and Craig came back.  He completed the repair in well under an hour and was very thorough; testing the dishwasher before he left.  We have had some problems with the dishwasher since then, but they are related to the product, not to the service.  We would hire Appliance Village and Craig again any day.

    APPLIANCE SERVICE IN HOME RPR
My clothes dryer just stopped working. Mike showed up on time and had it working within minutes. It turned out that it was a blown thermal fuse within the dryer. He took the time to explain to my how it probably happened. The exhaust duct within the dryer was fairly plugged with lint, and also there was an old fabric softener sheet stuck to the exhaust port inside the barrel. The part and labor costs together were less than the trip charge to show up! I would definitely call them again if I needed repairs.

    Bob's Appliance Repair Service LLC
Bob explained he had support agreements with almost everyone, but Kenmore was not one. Since the issue did not appear to have a 100% clear cut part issue, he did not want to start repairs and find out it was something else. His recommendations though ended up being correct when the Sears repair man came. I offered to pay him for his time (he was there about 30 minutes) but didn't want to take my money since he couldn't do anything. I've used Bob in the past and would definately have him back in the future.

Bob came to our house to repair our electric dryer. He was punctual and professional and only billed us once we were satisfied with the repair.
