Snow Removal reviews in Plymouth

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • I believe it was $29 per plow. They do our fertilization and lawn clean up in the fall. They will do the Spring clean up, they haven't yet. If it's 3 inches or more of snow they come automatically. We were asleep when they came.

  • talked to a few landscape companies about cleaning up our existing landscape beds, refreshing mulch and redesigning/planting new plants.  Brian met with me and was very patient and helpful as I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted but he helped me design a low maintenance landscape option with a variety of shrubs and perennials.  The crew was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.  Dan took the time to walk through the entire project with were on the same page.  He was able to make some recommendations and even some changes on the fly.  The crew worked very quickly and efficiently but clearly took the time to plant everything properly, the mulch looked great afterwords and they took extra time to make sure everything was cleaned up and that all he new plants were watered.  Dan also took the time to educate to make sure make sure that the plants survived.  Everyone was a pleasure to work with and I have recommended them to several people.  I will continue to use them for all my lawn care, landscape and snow removal needs.

  • They come out, they do the lawn and the lawn is ok. They do an average job, they cut the lawn and the lawn is ok, nothing special. They are dependable and they come ou every Thursdays and the lawn is taken care of. They charge $30 to cut the lawn and they fertilize 3 or 4 times a year. I also use them for snow blowing over the winter.

  • I received a paper flyer in the mail, at my wit's end with trying to find a lawn service that would just quote me for mowing/trimming every other week through the summer. I called Consider it Done! and have not regretted it since I started their service in May. They've done exactly what I want, handle billing through PayPal so it's easy, are reliable and communicative if there is going to be a delay due to rain, and are considerate of my schedule. I have never met Russ, but over email he has been great to work with. I appreciate his no-nonsense approach to his business and I can actually consider the work done and not have to worry about it.

  • They do snow plowing in the winter. The staffs were friendly. I have only talked to them on the phone. When they have a route, you can’t beat everybody’s house first. I never paid much attention to it. They are fairly prompt. Their prices are good. I compared their prices with others and other companies doubled their cost. I had a good deal. We’ve used them for several years now.

  • I am on an uphill driveway, so when it snows I need a blow man and if he has not already been there at my house, I call him and he is here within 15 minutes. We had a lot of blizzards this winter so he was busy, but when I needed him here now he came. He has two trucks, but he has been the only one at my house. He does a monthly billing, which works well. He also does a full season charge if you wanted to just pay ahead. The best thing about Noonan is, like I said earlier, I am on an uphill driveway and I am not his only customer but when I call him and say I cannot get up he is here within 15 minutes. He does me out of his normal sequence, because he knows I am on an uphill driveway. Regarding price, I think he is average.

  • I am giving them an F rating, as the quality of their service was so poor, we had to fire them with 3mo left in the snow removal season. The service provided (or lack there of) was extremely lazy. They would not shovel any of the walkways. If they could not just hit it with the truck in 10min it did not get done. I called and emailed 3 times to complain about the walkways not getting done. I got a response back once (via email, no calls were ever returned) given an excuse that since our service was set for 2" of snow or more, someone needed to be cleaning the walkways when less snow fell. But, even when the snow fall was over 2" they did not clear the walkways. When I finally had to just go clear the walkways myself there was approx 3' of snow on them. They also would not clear snow by the dumpster, making it difficult for the garbage company to get at it. In their rush to just quick clear the driveway with the truck, they pushed all the snow to one parking spot, blocking that spot. When I called to say I no longer wanted their service, I never even got a call back, an apology, nothing to try to keep our business. In short, very lazy and unprofessional company.

  • The workers are not punctual but the quality of work is good. I have been a a customer since Nate Aho started his company. Quality and timeliness have suffered recently due to commercial customers that Nate added to his responsobilities. If things do not improve by this spring I will switch to another company because punctuality and reliability are extremely important to me.

  • I pay $20 every month. He was not, not much outstanding but good. I spent little time with him and the work is all done already in the morning by the time I got up. I got little contact between them and myself. He was on time a number of times. This is the first year I used him. There were not too many opportunities to talk to him. When I talk to him, it’s over the phone.

  • We were fortunate enough to find a true gem!
We found out after the first large snowfall of the season, that our previous snow removal company was getting out of the business, and finding another one was proving very difficult.  I found Hicks Snow Removal name and called.  Cory came out the same day, introduced himself and gave me a quote.  Pricing is quite reasonable. He offered to clear up the driveway right then, as the last plowing was a little rushed.  We had several workmens' trucks and trailers in the driveway, so he offered to come back later in the day.  He did come back again, but the trucks were still there.  He came back some time in the night and cleared the driveway, and in front of the mailbox.  We have had several plow companies clear over the years, and I have to say he cleared better than anybody else has, even moving our small utility trailer to clear our turn around (which was still snowed in, as it had been overlooked in the previous plowing)!  He even cleared in front of the mailbox, which is often overlooked, and I have had to clear all the snow by hand in the past after the plows.
Cory was extremely polite and professional when I met with him, and offered perks like emailing customers to tell them when he was about to start his route ( a plus when you're wondering if your plow service overlooked you.)
