  He answered on the 3rd ring, and arrived before lunch time. It needed a relay kit and he was very efficient and got it done in almost no time. Very professional and very fair priced! I will call him again and highly recommend! Parts $69 Labor $50 Trip Charge $35 (he's from out of town)

  The good:
  
   - Was able "diagnosis" the problem on the phone (he confirmed his suspicions once he arrived)
  
   - Had all of the parts necessary to make the repair (no waiting for parts to be ordered!)
  
   - Was prompt and courteous
  
   - Called prior to arrival, upon request
  
   - Ended up tacking us on to the end of his normal work day (so we ended up with "same day service!") rather than the next day, as we had originally planned/scheduled
  
   - Removed his shoes prior to entering our home (without being asked) and cleaned-up when he was done
  
  
  
  The bad:
  
   - Nothing really.  This guy was great -- would hire him again in a heartbeat.  Would also recommend him to others based on this experience.

  They're speedy, they were able to fix our issue. He knew from talking to him on the phone what our problems were. He was able to know exactly what to bring with him and showed up on time, got it done and was very quick about it so I definitely recommend him for quick service. I'm not sure I was happy with the price of their hour charge but they have to make their money too. We called three different service places and they were the first to call us back. They actually called us over the weekend to schedule it.

  He got everything out of bottom freezer, put it in the sink and on a towel on the counter and went to work on cleaning the freezer drain.

  we had just bought our house and found the front load washer had a lot of mold and mildew on the door seal/bellows. I had called John's appliance and the owner Mike had to order the seal. After a couple of weeks he arrived with the seal and did a great job installing and cleaning up afterwards.

  I was not home when he serviced my unit. My wife was. He came to the door and then went right to work. The unit is outside. He had to come in a couple of times to check on the unit in the basement. He finished in a timely manner. I would recommend A to Z for all your appliance repair needs.

  I spent $60 on the job. They used to provide their services in the company I used to work in. They always come out to check the problem. If they cannot fix a problem, they will let you. They will let you know if it is cheaper to replace it rather than fix it. I will use them again in the future.

  The plumber that came over was a great guy and explained what was going on as he did the work. While the repairs were going on he did point out several areas that would need my attention after the spring thaw occured. I additionally had them give me an estimate for replacing my hot and cold lines in my house, I plan on calling them when I am ready to schedule this work. They seem willing to work with DIYers and gave me some good how to advice and tips that will make my job easir when I redo my Kitchen.

  We called early that morning, and they said they would have techs out to look at it by 1:00, and they were here by 12:30. We explained the issues we were having, that it was not heating the water at all, and that the unit was extremely old. They asked us to follow them downstairs while they inspected the unit. They throughly explained what they were looking for and how it made the unit run. Upon inspection, they explained the age of the unit, and that at its age it was not only dead, but using so much energy that it was not even worth repairing. They explained the different options we had, like a similar tank with different gallon sizes, the energy they used and if it would be the right fit for how much water we used. They also explained the pros and cons of the tankless water heaters, and that they had mixed reviews on how others liked them. It was their recommendation that with the mixed reviews on tankless water heaters, they would suggest a 60 gallon waterheater. They placed the order, and were here the next day, at the time they said they would be, to install the unit. They were very respectful of the flooring upstairs, and made sure to answer any questions we had during installation about the unit. The only poor thing I could say is that they did not clean up the sediment that was left on the floor, leaving me to clean up the mess.
