AMike Miller's Roofing And SidingPRO's 1) Returned my call same day as inquiry. 2) Visited my property next day. 3) Called me from my property with quote. 4) Roof was installed two days later. 5) Was willing to take over when another roofing contractor left us high-and-dry. CON's 1) I have to dig deep for a con. The price for labor was higher than we had anticipated, but we needed the roof installed before the first snowstorm hit. We were really happy with the service we received from Mike and we would gladly recommend them to our friends & family.- MJ L.

DRoth RoofingNeeding new shingles on our cabin we contacted a local lumber mill and received a recommendation for Roth Roofing. We contacted them, agreed to proceed and requested specific GAF roofing products be used and asked that standard GAF installation procedures be followed, including: Storm Guard Ice & Water protection around roof vent cap, on rakes as well as two courses along eaves, Pro-Start Starter Strips on eaves and rakes, Tiger Paw over entire roof and Timberline HD Shingles. This would provide us with GAF's "Roofing System Limited Warranty". Roth agreed to use the GAF products buying them from the lumber mill who recommended them and did the roof in less than 4 hours, including clean-up. However, they failed to follow GAF installation instructions by not putting ice and water protection on rakes (not confident they used around roof vent), not applying Tiger Paw over entire roof deck or securing it with plastic nail caps (they used regular staples) or using starter strips on rakes (they put them on eaves only). They also did not leave any shingle overhang on rakes or eaves as recommended by GAF and it was cut very poorly. It took a month or more before the owner came out to look at the roof even thought we asked three or four times. His response was "I dropped the ball" when giving the job to one of his crews and "this is the way we always do it" and "it's fine the way it is". Very disappointed with their job performance and response to our concerns.- Steve J.

AThe crews from Hampton were outstanding. Roofing crew arrived right on time, worked throughout the day, professional, thorough and FAST. Attentive to detail, site was thoroughly clean when they left, and I mean not one stray nail. All debris promptly removed. Crew chief Saul is the best. AJeremy and Jessica sold us the windows and installed them for us themselves. We could tell by his attention to detail that Jeremy has had a lot of experience in window installation. We observed every step of the installation process, and he explained to us exactly what he was doing and why. They stand by the quality of their work and encouraged us to contact them right away if we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely hire this local Minnesota business again if we choose to install more new windows in our home.
