Options were available to add boxes to the furniture if we desired. The move came off without a hitch. Done in very good time. Pete was the main contact, came right on time, and did exactly what he said he would do. The crew working with him for the actual move were polite, friendly and worked hard. AMoving Ahead Services LLCWe relocated from an apartment into a new home. We needed assistance moving our larger and bulkier items. Moving Ahead scheduled me at the time I needed. When there was a change to our schedule, they were able to accommodate without issue. They were in constant communication with me regarding the move and allowed me to add extra items at the last minute. The movers were available early and came to get things started. They were courteous, professional and took extreme care in prepping the space to ensure no damage occurred to the carpet/tile. The took extra care in wrapping all items as well. They were very efficient and we had no damage to our property that was being moved or to the house/apartment. Having been a military family and moving 15 times over the last 20 years, I can guarantee you they are exceptional in taking care of the customer and their property! APDX MoversI had an excellent experience with PDX Movers! All conversations leading up to my move were easy and thorough, and the team was very responsive and worked quickly to reschedule my move when an ice storm forced us to postpone a few days. The crew (Ethan H, Chris M, Jose E and Frank) arrived on time, were professional and friendly, and took great care of my belongings. AAAA Movers IncI’ve used AAA Movers a few times over the last 10 years and each time, the service is amazing. The customers service in booking and follow ups before they even show up is great. Then the actual move is very smooth. Thank you to Khari, Henry, and David for moving me from my apartment to my house when the temperature was -10F. They were in great spirits and very cordial and detail oriented. What I love about AAA Movers vs another company I used in the past is the extra attention to protect your items when moving them and caution they have to protect your property. Wrapping furniture, using runners on the floor, working hard to keep everything clean as they are moving. Plus, they are following Covid protocols. AGentle TransitionsGentle Transitions personnel were friendly and highly efficient. We had a "Move Manager" come out for our free consultation. It was clear that she had done this many times and knew what questions to ask. She calculated the number of boxes, amount of packing materials, and number of labor hours needed and submitted a written estimate. The day before the move, GT sent their team of packers, which completely packed a 2 bedroom apartment in the morning (including a large curio cabinet filled with breakables), beating the estimate by a small amount. The next day the GT team put all the furniture as indicated on the floor plan and unpacked all the boxes. They were patient as I made decisions about items that hadn't gotten a plan. The kitchen was restored as best as possible, considering that the cupboard and drawer arrangements were completely different. All this was done without breakage or damage, and in less than the estimated time. The entire operation was as professional as any I've ever seen, and the invoice came in under the estimate. GT took much of the stress out of moving, so we look forward to working with them again.- DENNIS O.

AUSA Family MovingWe booked USA Family Moving for a 2 bedroom apt move. The scheduling process was smooth and easy. All three men were very professional, packed everything very carefully and had all the materials to sufficiently wrap all furniture and valuable items to ensure nothing got broken or ruined. They even put the boxes in the corresponding rooms per the writing on the boxes which made unpacking that much easier. Their price was very fair especially when considering the quality of how they moved our items. It was the smoothest move we have endured thanks to a these movers and we will absolutely be using them again for our next move.- Kamla P.

FAvoid this company full of rude, unprofessional and unsafe staff. They will overcharge you and if you complain you will be treated like dirt. 1. The movers refused to wear masks, even when it’s a state mandate for COVID prevention. They were asked to do this multiple times and refused. Apparently they are above the laws in MN. 2. They just shoved furniture through the front door, taking zero care and therefore damaged our front door. 3. 36 boxes were dumped in the garage even though they had “basement” written clearly on all sides. 4. The movers openly argued with us as the customers on multiple occasions, raising their voice at women even. 5. They took nearly 2 hours in “breaks” and then charged us for all that time they were eating and sitting around on their phones. Also they went to get the food and we were charged for all that time too. 6. We brought this to “Candi” at the office and she was openly argumentative and rude.We were told that “her crew would never do ANYTHING wrong!” We were not allowed to talk to her manager, even after multiple requests. We were never apologized to, compensated for the break time OR the damage to the door. We filed an official claim and were told it would be compensated but then Candi said “nope not our fault!” We had pictures of the undamaged door when the movers arrived and Pictures of it damaged after and they said they “didn’t do it!” The refusal to recognize when they are wrong is like nothing I’ve ever dealt with before. This company shouldn’t be in business with how little their care about customers. Over a dozen calls and emails and they never admitted to any fault whatsoever. Fair warning-steer clear. Hire a more reputable company.

FNever got off the ground. Estimator arrived early (good), was unable to, or refused to use the apartment access key pad, called my husband (not sure how he got my husband’s phone number), hung up on my husband BEFORE my husband had a chance to finish entry instructions. Matt (estimator) called me, i started to tell him how to gain entry through the access keypad, and he proceeded to tell me that he tried with my husband “but apparently he can’t do it, so somebody needs to come and get me, or i don’t get in.” Already his poor attitude was evident over the phone. When i went to get him, he was cheery enough, asking how i was doing today, to which i replied “it was fine until you hung up on my husband, and you were rude to me over the phone.” Matt replied that is this is the wrong way to start, then maybe we shouldn’t move on (with the estimate). I asked why he was rude, and he said that “that is YOUR perception.” Again, he said then we probably shouldn’t mover forward. I agreed, and sent him on his way. I called Good Stuff Moving to let them know what happened, and spoke with Brent Stone. Brent was courteous...at first, apologized, and said he would speak with Matt. I asked for another estimator, but Matt is the only one. According to Brent, Matt has been with the company for 12 years, and conducts 25 estimates per week. I informed Mr. Stone that we would no longer be using their services. After a few more words, Brent started to sound indignant and sounded like he was defending Matt. I understand managers must support their employees, and address issues with them in private. It sounded as if Brent was supporting Matt’s poor behavior, towards a potential customer, as a “personality clash.” Matt and i spent less than 10 seconds together. First impressions count, and this first impression left a bad taste in our mouths. If Matt is supposed to represent this company in the best light, he failed. It is a true shame, because we had planned to hire GSM. Finally, we had another estimator visit earlier today, and he had no issue with accessing entry.
