AGunner Insulation Company LLCThe guys were great very friendly and respectful of our home, we had a really hard time finding some one to help us do that job since it was such a small space but bill gave us a call right away and said he doesn't mind doing the small jobs at all and gave us a very fair price $850 for 286 SQ ft and they sealed all the spaces leaking air. now the house is a nice warm temperature ,the cold spots are gone, and and the heating bill has come down. great job would definitely hire them again in a heart beat.- Tory D.

I appreciated how he took the time to give us options (cellulose vs. fiberglass), made keen observations specific to our home, was very straightforward with the costs, and even included insulated boxes for our ceiling lamps as part of the package. Price was over $1000 less than the other bid we got, from a company that also had good reviews. Corner room noticeably warmer now and missus is happy! Highly recommended.- Philip S.

AMudslingers Drywall & Remodeling LLC.Troy and his crew were phenomenal! They kept to a tight schedule during Covid and did a great job. Any time something came up they were quick to address and were very easy to work with. Everyone on his team, including sub-contracted work were excellent and very helpful/knowledgeable. Troy was always accomodating for our tight budget and helped us get what we wanted within the agreed upon budget with no surprises. Will be hiring again for more work. Work done: his team finished our basement (1000 sqft), including framing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, drywall, mudding, water lines, painting and carpentry work (doors, trim, etc.)- Jason B.

AWent great! Scott knows his stuff and while our project got delayed a bit due to sourcing materials and weather, he kept us up to date on the status. The guys were all nice and they did a great job of both installing the roof and cleaning up afterwords. It also didn't hurt that their quote was substantially lower than the other quotes we received. Very satisfied!!!

AAny time you seek out work to be done on your own home, you hope to find the best company. I ended up getting bids from a few companies to insulate my 1&1/2 story attic space. Chad was the first to get back to me with a thorough coverage bid, so fast I had to wait days for others. As soon as I met him I knew he was credible and trustworthy so we booked it. Fast forward to install day, Chad as his team showed up right on time, reiterated the work that was going to be done and got to it. I had a last minute additional request around some new electrical that has been done days prior and without skipping a beat came up with a solution that exceeded my expectations. Beyond doing great work, what stood out to me is how much they enjoy what they do. Great companies employ great people. We sought out to accomplish some work on our home, but Home Seal gave us much more. Referring them to all of our friends and family. Last few noteworthy details: Less than 24 hours after the install, we had to turn down our thermostat because it retains heat so much better than before. Home Seal owns their own equipment, others we bid with had to rent it to perform the work which increased their price. Not a drop of mess was left, inside or out.

AThese guys are the best. My 100-year old house never had much insulation in the attic and after a problem with ice dams in 2019 I decided to get the attic insulated. Houle was on the list of CenterPoint-approved contractors. They came when they said they would, did the work quickly, explained what they had done and cleaned up. They processed my rebate application for me too. My heating bills noticeably dropped last winter, and now that it is warm my house has stayed cooler longer. This summer, I had some water damage on a bedroom ceiling and wondered if the insulation work had somehow disconnected a pump for the AC unit in the attic. Houle sent techs out the same day to check. It turned out the pump had died on its own. The two techs took the time to do their own investigation of what the problem was, and did so cheerfully. Houle stands by their work and takes customer service seriously. I am impressed.

FI hired this company in 2014 to insulate the attic during a remodel. Everything went fine. This winter I had water dripping from a can recessed light in the ceiling onto our furniture. Apparent cause was there was not adequate insulation over this can light in the attic; condensation would form and cause the leak. This was in the vault that they could not reach in 2014. There is an audio speaker close by so I believe they could easily insulate over the light gaining access through this opening. I called 4 times and left messages over several weeks and no call back. I sent in an online request through their website and I finally got a call back. They said they would have someone stop by to take a look. After 7 weeks I sent another online request asking when were they stopping by. They never responded. I called and someone actually answered the phone. They said the owner lives close by and would stop Friday afternoon or the weekend. I stayed home all weekend. No one ever showed up or called. Very frustrating. If you don't want the work, just be honest and say so. In this economy I just find it hard to understand how a company that will not return calls, and does not honor commitments can stay in business.
