Glass Repair reviews in Osseo

  • First I have to say that being able to see all samples in our home and picking cabinetry, tiles, mirrors, lights, faucets, towel bars all to match was worth a lot to me. I'd rather pay more do it that way than go from one shop to another trying to come up with everything ourselves. Stephen helped us pick out a look that we loved. One Major hiccup though not unexpected was discovery of need to replace a tub and subfloor not in the original contract. High suspicion of damage was revealed when flooring was removed. This of course hiked up the price. Minor hiccups with a few incorrect items delivered which slowed process down, however Dustin and Mike worked extra on 2 Saturdays to catchup and they actually finished the project 3 days earlier than projection despite waiting for some pieces. They just kept busy with something all the time. These guys were such perfectionists that they kept me happy! That's not easy... ask anybody that knows me! Damon was always great about getting any hiccups taken care of as quickly as possible. They were all great about explaining what next steps were in a fluid situation. As much as we thought we liked what we picked out, seeing it with our own eyes when it was done was way, way better. It is obvious these folks specialize in Bath & Design like it says in there name. I can't imagine a better company! We are overwhelmingly satisfied!!

  • We had an excellent experience with Glass & Mirror, from start to finish. The sales person was great, very informative and provided options but was not pushy. The install was on time and priced as quoted. The installer was great and everything went smoothly. The door was installed over two years ago and everything is still great, it looks wonderful! We love our glass shower door!

  • Our master shower had just gotten our face lift and we wanted only the best and cleanest look to match the marble carrera that we had put in. A work associate recommended Hopkins Glass and Shower Door LLC so we asked them to come out and give us a bid. The person that came out was friendly and seemed to have plenty of experience. After receiving a very fair price for a premium frameless glass shower door, we went with their company and we couldn't be happier. The shower door fits perfectly and looks beautiful!

  • I was actually referred to Hopkins Glass & Shower Door by a contractor that did our bathroom remodel, so I thought I'd stop by their showroom and see what they have. As soon as I walked into their showroom I knew I was dealing with the right company :) The way they had everything set up wasnt something you seen at other Glass & Mirror Showrooms. We set up a time for a measure and Derek was out to measure for a quote with in couple of days. The quote came in few hundred bucks cheaper then other quotes, so we decided to have them do the work. 1.5 weeks later our shower enclosure was installed and we love it. It has truly been a pleasure to deal with them. Would recommend them to anyone.

  • Everything went fine and the end result is great.  All parts of the project have been completed except for installing a shower door that is in transit right now. I liked they had a decorator come over & help pick out paint colors, flooring, and bathroom fixtures.  I had probably a person from every trade in my house at some point.  Everyone was friendly and courteous and their work seems great. There were 2 contracts and that caused some confusion but was resolved and to no inconvenience and no charge to me.  I have put off these projects for many years because I was dreading the cost, decisions that needed to be made, and the interruption to home life.  This has been a great experience.  If I would have know that, I wouldn't have waited so long.

  • I'm a bit of a procrastinator I guess but they deserve a solid review for their work. These guys gave us a bid for replacing a basement bathroom & bedroom after a 30 year old tile shower leaked and trashed a quarter of our basement.  They were among the cheapest but we also felt they were the most attentive to what we wanted to do.  While WE went over budget on tile and shower enclosure they just kept doing what we wanted.  The tile guy (Paul) was awesome & did some crazy pattern my wife picked out without complaining at all!  They went above and beyond what we expected.  They will be the first people we call for any other projects we decide to tackle!
    Highly recommended!

  • Excellent service, very happy with the quality of the work and the price.  We are moving to a new home which has a couple of windows that need new glass and I will definitely be calling Trustworthy to repair those windows as well.

  • I received an email requesting my phone number in which I replied with the information. I emailed them again on 2/2/2015 to verify they received my phone number cause I hadn't heard from them. They emailed me back on 2/3/2015 stating he would contact their shower installer to contact me and I never heard back from them again. I requested a refund for my Big Deal.

  • Because of the good reviews on Angie's List, I chose Glass Doctor to replace the glass in a large living room window that was accidentally broken by a neighborhood kid even though they were not the lowest bidder.  Unfortunately, my experience with them was horrible.  Here were my issues related to their poor service.
The Estimate -- my wife had to stay home from work to wait for an estimator who never showed up in the agreed upon time frame.  After calling the office, she was informed that the estimator decided to not come to work that day.  Very frustrating that no one called us proactively and that my wife had to sit take time away from work, but we moved on and rescheduled our appointment for another day when the estimator did show.
First Glass Replacement -- apparently, they hire inexperienced laborers to help carry the windows.  Unfortunately for us, the laborer they hired to help with our window dropped his side of the new glass and created a chip in it.  As a result, we had to replace our badly broken glass with the new slightly broken glass -- and, of course, schedule yet another visit from them with a replacement to the replacement glass.
Second Glass Replacement -- now on our 4th time of having to take time off of work for Glass Doctor, I waited until 30 minutes past the time frame they committed to.  When I called the office, they had no idea why they were late or why no one had the courtesy to let me know what was going on.  By the time the guy with the glass replacement actually showed up, he was about 90 minutes late and I lost even more time away from work.
No apologies, no discounts for the hassle that required about 8 hours of missed work.  Never again, and I hope that others can avoid the experience my wife and I had.

  • K2 Bathroom did such a wonderful job on my master bathroom remodel that I had them back the following summer to do my daughters' bathroom and a main floor 1/2 bath.
The master bath was a total gut and redo.  We  removed the spa tub, installed a gorgeous tile shower (with rain fixture and another fixture).  We also put in glass block windows - which were an absolutely fabulous addition.  The natural daylight that fills the shower is in amazing.  We turned the old shower area into a linen closet with beautiful shelves and more space that I ever imagined.  The vanity was totally replaced with beautiful cabinets and a granite top.  From the initial contact with K2  Jon was great at listening to my ideas and providing us with a design that fit our vision.  They were patient, responsive and understanding of our wishes (some changes along the way) throughout the entire process.  The installers, plumber, and electrician were also excellent - and very pleasant to have in the house.  K2 kept the project on task (and on time) and communicated almost daily.
I had them back the following summer to redo another couple of bathrooms.  The first one  was also a total redo where we replaced the tub, retiled the shower and the floor and installed a new vanity with a granite top.  The second bathroom (1/2 bath) we replaced the vanity top and added a vessel sink and new mirror.  I loved the fact that they took care of everything from demo to the installation of the last cabinet knob.
Having worked with K2 on two major projects over the last two years, I can tell you they are a company that goes above and beyond for their customers.  They have great innovative ideas to help you decide what can be done in designing your space.   Jon understood my personality, needs and taste and worked with me to accomplish wonderful results.    They were realistic about the time it would take to complete the projects and the initial cost estimate only varied because of changes I made.   Every day the work space was cleaned up (loved that part!!)   We were extremely pleased with the professionalism, attention to detail and quality of the work.   I would definately use them again and recommend them highly for your next project!!!
