  • Of course, this was a very small job, but something my husband and I could not do ourselves. The two young men who moved the piece of furniture were prompt, pleasant and extremely careful. The piece was padded and shrink wrapped. They also had to carry it up a flight of stairs and there was no extra charge for that. They do have a two hour minimum and they charge portal to portal, but that is entirely typical. If I ever have to move anything again, they will be the first I will call. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

  • I just did a move across the country and needed someone to do the unloading of my moving truck and pod. From the first moment I talked to Ace Midwest they were knowledgeable, and very friendly. I was able to adjust when the movers arrived easily. When the movers arrived, they laid down carpet protections, and got straight to work. They got everything moved into the house quickly and professionally, and even set up my guest bed for me so I didn't have to do the heavy lifting of the mattress!! Amazingly phenomenal service and will definitely use them again if I have any other moves to complete.

  • PJ’ crew showed up on time with two trucks as promised. They even had an online coupon that they honored and provided additional boxes for our use because we were Angie’s List members! They were one man short at the start but called someone in to fill the spot. We had almost everything in boxes and they wrapped everything else in blankets and plastic wrap for protection and loaded the trucks very efficiently. The move went as planned and they placed everything into the proper rooms in the new house, and unwrapped the plastic and blankets for us. They even provided ten wardrobe boxes for our clothing and also moved several large planters to the new home. We would definitely recommend Quality Moving for your next move.

  • We sold our 3500 ft2 home in Minnesota and purchased another in Kansas. Given timing differences in closing and some remodeling of the Kansas home, we need to leave our goods in storage in Minnesota for several months. I called Greatland and spoke with the owner, Kurt Stanze. After getting the gist of our situation over the phone, he came over to our house and did a walk through with us. Kurt recommended that we contact Public Storage and get a 10x30 ft storage unit. Kurt said he was willing do do any part of our move or the entire thing at our choice and he bid the project in that manner. He also advised on how we should package our goods. We liked Kurt and his approach so much that we had his company do the entire project which entailed moving our goods to the storage unit, then removing them from that unit later and moving them into our Kansas home. He handled all difficulties that naturally arose during this multi-step process to our complete satisfaction. A couple of examples...he told me about some damage done to an end table and took it with him and returned it repaired; the wheel from a dolly left a mark on the carpet and he immediately said he would pay for the cleaning (which he did). His pricing was very competitive, but more important to us than that was the quality of work. Kurt and his employees take pride in their company. I have not the slightest reservation in recommending his company to anyone needing it. Kurt will give you very good service.

  • Fantastic! They got to my place early, parked where I told them to when I made the apt, and where extremely efficient and knowledgeable. They figured how to get my couch through a narrow doorway and took extra precaution that nothing was damaged. They even used straps instead of a piano dolly, which was amazing, as piano dollies have destroyed my piano in the past. Would highly recommend Brad, Ethan, and Ben for sure!

  • This company rocks! From the initial meeting with the person who provided an estimate to the final moving day, Good Stuff Moving was awesome. The estimate was very close and the option to purchase boxes, packing paper, and bubble wrap proved incredibly important and valuable. The moving crews were fantastic!! There was not one scratch, ding, or broken item. In particular, Mike and Cole (who did both our moving out on one day and moving in another) were marvelous! Each crew member was professional, cheery, and super conscientious. Our communication with the company was always answered promptly. I would highly recommend Good Stuff Moving!!!! They were incredible!!!!

  • We purchased the coupon for 4 men for 2 hours of moving services.  We went over that two hours slightly - but it was well worth it. These folks were a tad late due to unforseen traffic conditions, but they called us to notify us of the tardy. These men were FANTASTIC!!! There isn't enough good I can say! They were quick, efficient, pleasant, funny, and just plain GOOD at what they did! They laid protection down on the floors, wrapped everything before moving them - unreal! The work they did in just over two hours would have taken us about 2 days! I would recommend these guys 100x over!!!  These guys were beasts!!!!  YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED IN HIRING THEM!!!

  • First, this company knows how to communicate with customers. Andrew and others from the office followed my lead in communicating by email rather than phone for setting up the move.  On the day, the office and the two movers kep  in touch by phone.  The two young men who came were exceedingly polite and pleasant.  The "lead man"  kept me informed each step of the process.  I felt that they were very clear that they were moving my possessions and as such needed me to be part of the process during the move.  They were here for just over 2 hours and the price is prorated by the quarter hour. They were very efficient, careful, and clearly had expertise in how to safely move heavy items.  I thought the price was very fair for the amount of work that was completed.  I will use them again without hesitation.  In the past we have rounded up friends and our son's friend to do heavy moving.  I really liked being able to hire people who would not risk getting hurt in the process.

  • My husband had already left to start his job in Indiana and we had hired the movers to move everything in our house to the semi trailer since I am disabled.  Everything in our house other than the furniture was in boxes so it should have been easy to pack in the trailer.  There were 2 guys and the wife of one of the guys also helped move.  They were on time and very nice and courteous, but that was about the extent of the positive experience.  The rate that they quoted us was $120/hr.  The trailer we rented, had a price based on the amount of spaced used.  They charged an extra $75 for our treadmill, which was not disclosed ahead of time, that there could be additional charges for certain items.  They also charged sales tax on top of the entire cost. Most other quotes included everything in the price.  We now know why they were the cheapest.  They also did not pack everything in the trailer and my car which I asked them to do.  I had to bring boxes, lamps, pillows, and blankets from upstairs and downstairs to fill my car once the movers left because I couldn't lift anything into the trailer.  Not everything fit in my car and so our neighbor luckily is able to keep a few things in their garage for the short term, but since we are not coming back we will have to pay to ship the items here when there was plenty of room in the trailer.
Yesterday, the trailer arrived and my husband and a few family members unloaded the trailer into our storage unit.  As soon as we opened the door we were very disappointed in what we saw.  The semi trailer is 9 ft tall but the highest any item was stacked was 7 ft, which means we could have put more items higher and utilized less space in the trailer and so we paid more for the trailer as well as the movers.  My husband had asked the movers to wrap the TVs in blankets and place them between mattresses and they said they were professionals and that they knew what to do.  Well, none of the TVs were wrapped to protect them and one of our 55" UHDTV screens got scratched.  The 2 smaller 32" TVs were placed on top of the mattresses and during the move one of the TVs fell off the top of the mattress and the screen broke.  Boxes were placed on their sides and quite a few of them lost the entire contents onto the floor.
Overall, it was a very poor experience and we are disappointed that we hired Stress Less Moving.  We do not recommend this company to anyone and the whole experience was stressful.
