  • Conrad and Stefanie were very punctual, kept in constant communication with us regarding the project. Did a great job with our bathroom that needed lots of repair. They responded almost inmediately to my emails and texts. Took great care to cover our bathtub and floor and cleaned up very well after finished. Will definitely be using them again for more paint projects.

  • I would like to add to the review posted on 3/16. My mom contacted John for an estimate and went back and forth with calls not being returned and when she did talk to him, he was arrogant and condescending. She asked if he provided free estimates and he responded with a very condescending tone that he didn't. John talked my mom into giving him a down payment of $275, which he said was part of the estimate (and in his written estimate which I reviewed, it stated within there "free estimates, no obligation" ) and that it would go towards work he did. An official/written estimate wasn't given until a later date. She received the estimate of $5,720 and emailed John and said she would not be able to have him do the work, because she wasn't planning on spending that much and if she could get her $275.00 back. It took him a while to respond back to her and then his was response was "No". She received another free-charge estimate for $1,500 for the same work. I reviewed the estimate further and he did say "free estimate, no obligation" and that the $275 would go towards any work performed. I emailed John and stated what was written in the estimate and he replied "I must of hit a wrong button when writing that estimate, you do have a point, give me a call" I thought, oh, maybe he will refund her. When I called John, he was very arrogant and condescending to me too and said he would not refund her and what did I think was fair. I said, she should be refunded, but for your time, what about $50 and he said, "that won't happen, I will give your mom $50. We went back and forth a bit and he ended up hanging up on me. I don't know how he is still in business, especially after reading some of his other reviews. Very poor, unprofessional businessman.

  • They did a fantastic job. We've had many complements. It's a fairly large house, but the crew worked long hours and had the siding replaced in six days. The crew was very professional, and friendly. There was some delay in getting the front door replaced, but it was also done well. Matt, who managed the project, was very nice to work with and everything we asked him for got done. They replaced bad sheathing, fixed a wall that had bowed out, installed new lights that we had purchased, and even put up our new house numbers. I can recommend them without any hesitation.

  • Really well, Mark was very professional and friendly. His bid was 1/3 of the price we had previously been quoted. He found an opening in his schedule and it was fixed quickly and completely within a week.

  • Last year (08/2016) I had the upper half of my chimney redone and coating. Nick's price was similar to the other quotes I had, but they guaranteed their work for 15 years. When they finished I had the best looking chimney on the block. They blended in the new bricks, replaced the cement crown and the correct cap. 2015 I had ice coving my cap, this past winter no ice at all. In June 2017, I notice a couple of bricks peeling (spalling), so I called Nick. He arranged someone to come out and take a look. Besides a couple of spalling bricks they notice the crown needed a little reinforcement. They scheduled me for an appointment the following week. I was going out of town, but they said no problem. I got back from my trip and saw my picture perfect chimney. Just like before, they cleaned up so well that it looked as though no one was there. MN winters are harsh and to provide a guarantee and someone who stands by it speaks volumes to why you should hire Nick to do your work.

  • Neris was excellent. The products he used were quality and he applied them with a lot of attention to detail. They were always friendly, courteous and professional while working around the house. At the end we walked around the house together to make sure I didn't have any questions or concerns and make sure they didn't miss anything. He told us to call or text if we noticed anything moving forward as well. Everyone has been complementing how great our house looks, it's like a whole new house! We are very happy with the result and will use Leon's for anything we need in the future.

  • Overall, it went well. Scheduling was a bit of an issue as some weather delays came into play. There were a few areas of the deck that had minor damage from washing but it is getting old and the cedar is soft in some areas. Windows look great!

  • John Sullivan Construction did an awesome job. They worked fast to remove the existing siding and install the Hardie plank siding. For such a large project the disruption was minimal and they cleaned up the mess each evening. Great price, excellent service and superior quality. Our home with new siding looks great.

  • This was a tough job with many, many unexpected complications that arose during the process because of the way the home was built and previously maintained. Quarve stuck with us throughout the process where most companies would have cut their losses and taken off. I can't say enough wonderful things about Quarve! No they aren't the cheapest option, but they are quite likely the best out there.

  • I would recommend this company. I researched 15 different companies. I quickly eliminated vinyl siding. And the rest were all between Hardy Board and Steel. My brother has Hardy board and wishes he didn't have it. My two sisters have steel and love it. I was pretty sure I wanted Hardy board, but so many of the companies I had out were not happy as contractors with the product. I decided to go seamless steal. I wanted something that would be maintenance free, Which in the end Hardy board is not. So begins my search for Steel. The one company I had out, I wanted the product but was not impressed with the salesman or the owner. So I called the number on the catalog I received, and asked for a different contractor. I was given Mike Krumm's name. He came out and met with me and talked for well over 2 hours and left me knowing I had one more company out to bid. I really liked that he listened. I liked his genuine honesty. I liked that he explained things so that I could understand them. So after a few tweaks our contract was signed. Mike called me to let me know when they would be starting. I came home from work and they were hard at work. I met Bud the crew lead, the one overseeing the project, and the others working with them. They were all very polite. Bud the Lead was great at communicating to me what was happening and what would be happening. When I had questions he stopped and explained or was willing to do it differently. (I wasn't sure about the color of the shakes.) Bud had a circle of sample colors they could replace the existing boxes of shakes with.) There are always little things that don't go the way you would like them to, but they were very minor and Mike had Bud out here to tweak them. (one was I wanted a longer down spout but I wanted it out of the way when I mowed. DONE. I wanted a few things hung back up where I had them originally and they made a special trip back out to do them. I didn't like my old door with the new siding so I purchased a new one that they attempted to come back out and put up for me, and then realized I had the wrong size door, they came back out a second time to hang the door. The project took longer then I thought it would. Part of the crew would be temporarily called off on other jobs through out the process. Or they left by 1:30 PM a few days because it was over 100 degrees. Some days it rained. One day was because of a family emergency. ALL the things that took them away were understandable. They never stayed past 5:00 pm which would be nice if you wanted your home back when you came home from work. (I would have preferred they worked until it was dark out.) If I were Mike I would get rid of the person overseeing the job because it is a waste of Mikes Money. Bud is perfectly capable. The siding looks great. They picked up after themselves. and I was able to use my yard and house as needed.
