Concrete Repair reviews in New Hope

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Concrete Results surpassed my expectations in the quality of work for all of the new concrete work performed around my house. Patrick and his crew were very professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. There were problems with a poor base under my old concrete driveway including mostly sand and old iron rod. Patrick and his crew were able to remove all of the old base and create a new solid base with Class 5 fill and reinforcement materials. I was impressed with Patricks attention to detail and creativity. I am very happy with the all of the finished concrete work on the driveway, patio and sidewalk. Concrete Results prices were very competitive with other competitors in my area and the quality of materials and work made it a great value. I highly recommend Concrete Results and I would definitely hire them again for future concrete needs.

  • Travis and his coworker were great. Best immediate conversation of the multiple quotes I got, second lowest price (and the lowest priced guy was sketchy), wonderful work, really went the extra mile. Regraded the front of the house, hauled in a lot of dirt and new mulch, hauled away the old landscape rock. My neighbors even commented on how surprised they were at how well the guys cleaned up after themselves, and what long days they worked. Highly recommend!

  • Worst experience I ever had. I would rather have a root canal without novocaine before I hire that company again. When they tore out the old sidewalk they drove a Bobcat across my front yard. If that wasn't bad enough, when they poured the new sidewalk they backed a fully loaded concrete mixing truck right up to the front door, again across my front lawn. Talk about a good way to trash a front yard. WOW! They poured the new approach at the end of the driveway on the same day and it looked great, but... Now they had to tear out the old asphalt driveway, again using the Bobcat. They chipped the new approach (that they just poured) with the bucket on the Bobcat doing the demo. Bad enough, but gets worse. Next, they had to bring in a load of fill for the new driveway and backed a fully loaded dump truck over the new approach and you can guess what happened. It broke, all the way through in two places. I now had a three piece approach. When I asked the owner of the company (Tom) what he intended to do about that, he explained that it was normal and it just happens sometimes. I explained that I was buying a one piece and unbroken approach and wanted it fixed. His reply to me was " you are being unreasonable. Do you know how much that is going to cost me?" He said he would be happy to fix the approach if I would share the cost with him. I was dumbstruck, but finally responded that it was his fault that it broke because he drove a 40,000 pound fully loaded dump truck over it. This is the point in time where it turned into a full blown fight to get this thing fixed. The attitude Tom (owner) had on the phone was that of belligerent aggression and made communicating with him a challenge. It took about three weeks of negotiating with him about a problem that his crew created to get it resolved. Those phone calls were not easy to make because I knew I was going to be verbally abused every time I talked to him. If you want good customer service don't use this company. In the end, I took a cash discount and decided to repair all the damage (demo and pour a new curb, repair the 4 inch deep ruts in the lawn, glad I don't have automatic sprinklers) myself because I didn't want them on my property again. If this sounds like a good time, hire Tom and his Richfield Asphalt and Concrete company. If not, stay as far away from him as you can. I'm in construction and hired this company because I didn't want to do the work myself. I could get into more detail on this company and my experience but I need to get busy on all the repair work.

  • Very happy with the work, and professionalism of the owner John and his crew. John is one of the few owners who personally works with and continually checks on the work being done. His crew is the best crew that I have ever had do work for me. I would never hesitate to hire John and his crew again. Look no further for concrete work than Concrete Builders as they are the best!!

  • We were under no tight schedule to get the apron replaced and were fine with the job being a filler job for a slower day/week. The asphalt was removed one day but there was a looming sprinkle storm possibly heading our way. It was just a light rain and he came back a few days later after the area was dry and proceeded with the concrete work. The work looks super great and it's been 4 months so far. The job looks so good, I'm considering option to add a patio area in the backyard and later replace the rest of the driveway in the next summer or one there after. Really pleased with the results!

  • I have been using them for a few years now. Same great service. Called first thing in the morning and they had someone out a few hours later. Ben was professional and kept the area clean and explained what was going on. It only took him 30 mins. I was pleased by the price. Very reasonable.

  • Look no further if you're looking to hire a company that you can trust to provide excellent quality, knowledgeable recommendations, integrity, and timely service at a fair price. John seems unmatched in his understanding of environmental effects on concrete in the Midwest. He plans his work based upon your specific land and environment conditions. Straight talker, no fluff, and no hard sell. He cares and educates not only on what is needed, but also why he recommends a solution; but also able to give options based on budget. After completion, my wife and I noticed a chip in the adjacent porch that we were convinced was a result of damage from digging up the old concrete. While John was sure otherwise, he came back and patched the chip anyway. I then found an old photo that showed that the chip existed prior to hiring Concrete Builders. I guess the beauty of the new concrete exposed other flaws that my wife and I had never noticed before! We laughed about it later with John who was more than gracious; but it just goes to show you the type of integrity you can expect from this remarkable business owner. Wish I had a whole team of contractors like John, and my home remodeling projects would be a piece of cake!

  • They did an excellent job, including demolition and removal of the old driveway material, the preparation work and finally pouring the new driveway and sidewalk. Cleaned up each day and created a very nice looking driveway.

  • Shawn and his team exceeded our expectations. The project was well-managed and completed on time. The hard-working team was friendly, professional and actually fun to have working at our home. Questions were answered promptly and "the mess" was completely cleaned up. The workmanship on our concrete project is extraordinary: Shawn is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. He really cares about his projects and wants each one to be perfect.

  • Starting at the bid process, the salesman wrote up a clear proposal and walked me through specific options for my driveway. Good followup from the sales rep when I had questions or concerns as I considered the initial proposal. I have a large driveway and which wasn't cheap, but their bid came in competitively with other contractors. I chose them over other contractors as they came highly recommended from neighbors and family members who had used them. The concrete pad was poured first and although there was a miscommunication on the design initially, they were very accommodating and made the necessary corrections before the pour was completed. The concrete pad turned out better than expected and the workers onsite spent a lot of time on the detail work making it look great. They were all very professional and it shows in the final result. The asphalt portion went very well also, other than weather delays that could not be avoided. They had a large team working onsite. The workers were also all very professional and paid attention to the details throughout. They even went as far as picking up loose asphalt that had fallen along the edge of the driveway into the grass/dug out area next to the driveway. In addition, I observed them walking behind their equipment as they moved it back to the trailer picking up any dropped asphalt pieces on my street. The finished product looks great and I have received many compliments on the work from the neighbors. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for any future projects.
