Basement Waterproofing reviews in New Hope

Happy they were able to fit me into their schedule relatively quickly. They explained everything, were on time, cleaned-up afterward. I was not able to do comparison pricing. I was not sure how long my malfunctioning pump would continue to work. I selected them based on good reviews. I may have been able to save some money with someone else, but I do not feel like the price was too high. You get what you pay for. Im very happy with what they did.

    Basement Water Controlled Co
I'm very impressed. The guys worked really hard to get the job completely done in one day - and they put perfectly matching landscape rock back in place for the front of our house. You can't even tell anything was done! They left all our landscape bushes undisturbed except for the scraggly tree that I said they could remove if they wanted to, and they did. So nice to be rid of that thing as a bonus! Need some heavy rains now to confirm our minor leakage problem is resolved, but I've tested the system by running a garden hose in it, and the water flowed out perfectly. Their prices may seem a little high, but for the quality of work you get, it's worth it. Plus no headaches dealing with timing; they showed up when they said they would and got the job done. Aaron, the foreman, was extremely nice and professional.

I was disappointed in the beginning when I didnt receive a response from the sales rep after 3 contact attempts. It turned out he left for another job. The reason for us hiring them is because we really liked his business ethics and trusted him based on his military background. They office staff was very professional in handling the matter and reassured me the work would be complete to high standards. I wasnt present but my husband said they were very professional. They worked hard to keep things clean and were accommodating to the needs of our pet birds who required that the furnace remain on. However Im dissapointed that they did not discuss if they completed the radon testing or not like they said they would. The only other issue is that we did financing through them and they needed a paper signed. Instead of leaving the dorm with us the first day to give them the second they gave it to us the second day which meant my husband had to take more time off to drive to my work to have me sign it then drive it back to them before returning to work himself. Im not 100% sure if Id hire them again. It depends on if we find out if they did the radon testing or not.

Everything went well with the exception of the sidewalk slab. It was raised but could'nt get it high enough to have water flow away from the house. It just would'nt go any more. I was more then happy with the rest of their work!

    Spartan, Inc.
Spartan did an outstanding job finishing the 6 projects on the to-do list.   The staff arrived on time and was very conscientious in completing all of the tasks.  I would definitely use  Spartan again in the future.

    RITE-WAY WATERPROOFING
Rite-Way installed a waterproofing system in our basement with a lifetime guarantee, however we are now experiencing water pooling in our finished basement.  We called well over a month ago to schedule an inspection for Rite-Way to come and perform an inspection to honor their guarantee; initially, they made an appointment two weeks from data of first call, which they then cancelled an hour before it was scheduled to occur.  That was frustrating to have taken a day off of work for nothing, but would have been acceptable had they done anything to accommodate or even follow up.  To date, it has been over two weeks since their cancelled inspection appointment and no one has inspected, let alone EVEN RETURNED a phone call.  I have called their Northwest Metro office every other day attempting to reschedule; each time, their receptionist or scheduler patiently and politely takes my information promising a return call that does not come.

At this point, my basement floor has been wet for over a month.  Any mold that was going to form has done so, which will make the damage much more prevalent and expensive to remedy.  I am very frustrated and concerned as this is my children's play room that I am very weary to now let them play in.
Clearly it is at the bottom of Rite-Way's priority list to honor the guarantee that is promised.  New business is more profitable than old.  I've never written a negative review of a company before and I'm not happy to do it now, but I am hoping that writing this will finally get some action out of this company as repeated phone calls have not.  Be wary.

    Gardner Construction Inc
We are very grateful for every person that was here.  I have no doubts they were quite busy and yet Gardner Construction cut no corners, or made us feel like they were doing us any favors.  They were awesome! Thank you.

    SafeBasements of Minnesota Inc
We were able to easily schedule the job and they completed within 3 days.  Unfortunately it snowed at the end so the re-grading of the property was done poorly as the skid loader got stuck which made planting grass more difficult once the snow cleared.  Other than that the work was high quality and I would use them again for this type of job (let's just hope I never have to!!).

The sales rep, Eric, was very helpful in addressing our issue and clarifying any questions. Rodney and crew that installed were timely, efficient and did a nice job. As this location is being remodeled they communicated with the contractor to be sure everyone was on the same page as this system will need regular maintenance

    Custom Woodcraft Etc Inc
We have hired Custom Woodcraft Mr. Bob Stevemer for at least 5 major remodeling projects over the past 15 years.  Every project was just perfect. All were economical and well done.   We found Custom Woodcraft economical, creative, clever and friendly and honest to work with.
Work was always planned very well and thoroughly discussed; written plans, written contracts, schematic drawings, and some architectural drawings.   Work always started when scheduled and finished on schedule
We would highly recommend Custom WoodCraft and Mr. Bob Stevemer on 6250 Chaska Road.
There are several firms with similar names so be Certain you choose Custom Woodcraft and Mr. Bob Stevemer from Chaska Road.
If we have additional remodeling we will choose Custom Woodcraft again and always in the future.  We have friends and relatives who have used Custom Woodcraft and say the same things as we do.  In fact, if we didn't trust Bob Stevemer we would not have done such big expensive projects..
In total we have hired Custom Woodcraft for projects totaling more than several hundred thousand dollars over 15 years.
We are totally satisfied and would give our highest recommendation to anyone.
    Thank you.
