AZ AUDIO & VIDEO SERVICE INC
My three year old Samsung cloths drier quit working, but I had taken out an extended warrantee when I purchased it. When the warranty company said they would send someone from AZ Audio & Video I was concerned if they could fix a clothes drier. I went online and found only bad reviews so I was even more concerned. I am pleased to be able to post a positive review about AZ Audio & Video. My only complaint is that my initial service call was set up for 1-1/2 weeks from my call date. Mark came out and found the slightly burned circuit board right away. He had to order a new one which took one week until he came out to install the new one. The drier now works. Mark was courteous and professional. Im happy.

    Sears Appliance Repair
I knew what it might need, and even told Customer Svc that a pump would be needed, and maybe Repair guy should bring one. He did'nt bring one or have one, so ordering was to be done, All said and done, was without use of washer for over 3 weeks.

    Sears Home Services
I personnaly determined using a service manual that the water pump was the problem. I even so much as called Customer Svc 6 days before the Tech showed up and told them my make and model of washer and requested the part be sent with the guy. As predicted, the tech told me the water pump needed replacement, and no, he did'nt carry that part. (This was due to the fact that he was a Frig and Oven specialist, something i found out later.) So with a diagnosis fee and a parts fee intact, he ordered the part and I waited another 8 days for a return visit and a part. ( Which could have been ordered faster and cheaper on various sites.) The repair guy who showed up the last time claimed to have been fixing washers for 25+ years. He got it done, but not without criticizeing our equipment location and use and/or abuse of the washer. I showed him the installation guide and requirements and told him it was delivered and set up by the company I bought it from, to which he basically said 'they don't have to do service calls. What do they know?' Why I didn't do it myself, I don't know. But fool me once, shame on YOU, fool me twice, shame on ME. I will attempt to do stuff on my own, just to keep this company out of my house. Even using the 20% off coupon (found on their website) it still did not come close to a bargain. Time off from work to wait for them in their service "window". Did I mention first repairman came 1/2 hour PAST the 4hr "window" I selected without so much as a call or text or e-mail, all of which I was signed up for so I had real-time notification options. Apologies were not on the agenda from anyone either.

They completed the repair. They suspected something else was wrong and also said that it sounded like the bearings were going out too. Machine worked for about 3 weeks then broke again. They would have covered part of it, but I decided it wasn't worth repairing.

    Fix-It-Chick
She did a good job.  She was very good.  She was very competent.  She knew what she was doing.  She recommended other people to fix things that she couldn't fix herself.  So, that was appreciated.

    Fix-It-Chick
It went very well. Since this wasn't an emergency, Kathy and I agreed that she would come out and look at the dishwasher when she was working in my area (within 4 days). She diagnosed that I needed a new motor. Kathy looked up the cost of the part and gave me an estimate. We briefly discussed repair versus replacing the dishwasher and I decided to repair it. Kathy ordered the part and came out on a Saturday to install it. We had scheduled for earlier in the week; however, she had an emergency come up (refrigerator repairs), so we rescheduled for Saturday. My dishwasher is quiet again. I would call Kathy again.

    Fix-It-Chick
We were surprised at how quickly she could come over to evaluate our dryer. She was over for a short time, found the problem and promptly fixed it. Her positivity and efficient manner were a plus! We'll definitely contact her again if any of our large appliances need attention! Thank you.

    Fix-It-Chick
My typical experience with appliance repair goes like this; Make an appointment a few days out, stay at home for a 4 hour period during a week day, tech diagnoses the problem on site but has to order part, part takes 3-5 days to receive, schedule a follow up appointment a few days out, stay at home for a 4 hour period, tech installs part.  Total elapsed time about 10 days.  That's a long time without a washer or dryer when you have 3 kids.
My experience with Kathy (fix-it-chick); She took my phone call around 11:30 am on Saturday.  Requested the model number, serial number, and error code so she could do some online research and troubleshooting before arriving.  She called me back a little while later.  The documentation indicated the most likely culprit to be a bad flow meter.  She asked when I would be home -- anytime after 12:30.  She arrived at my house about 1:15.  My kenmore didn't actually have a flow meter.  Not to worry, she had most of the parts my washer might need -- "I basically have your washing machine in a box in my van."  So, she spent some time troubleshooting.  She was able to determine that the water pressure was lighter than it should be, and suggested installing a new water inlet valve.  Problem solved.  Total elapsed time from phone call to working washer:  3 hours.  Seriously. 3 hours.  Cost was $85 for service call, $15 for additional labor, $69.00 for the part, for a total of $169.00.
Kathy was very polite and pleasant, very methodical, knowledgeable and professional.  She's earned my repeat business.

    Direct Home Appliance Service
Everything went perfectly!  I called and left a message and got a return call promptly.  They were able to come out the same day and Trevor called 15 minutes before he arrived like I had requested.  Trevor was very professional and fixed our dyer quickly.  I was very happy with the price and the whole experience.  I would absolutely call them again!

    Appliance Care
I had two guys come out to look at the washer and dryer.   There was a charge for them to come out and then they ordered a part and came back and installed it without charging for a second service call.  They also cleaned the air ducts in a separate trip.  Recently, our GE dryer started making noises, a year after they repaired it.  I sent an email asking about it and was told that this usually was an indicator of a part wearing out, possibly the drum  Rather than spend more money on a dryer that already has been repaired, I purchased another one but was grateful for an honest reply that perhaps the fix would be expensive if I threw more money at the dryer.
Yes, I will use these people in the future.  I liked that they did not charge for a second service call.  I liked that they were very thorough and respectful.  I liked that both repairs were made and have not been a problem since the repairs.  They just plain seemed honest.
Charges are estimates.  I don't really remember because it was more than a year ago that I had them out.
