    DRAPERY PLACE
    The Drapery Place was the subcontractor Home Depot hired to full my Hunter Douglas window coverings order placed in December 2017. The original installers were friendly, but sloppy: they accidentally drilled several holes in my new patio door frame for an inside mount when the product was made for an outside mount (damage is still not repaired). Of the 21 items purchased, 4 had to be sent back for repair/replacement (not due to Draperly Place error), I had to call back a month later to check in the status of the repairs. Round two of the install: whoever prepped the order in Bloomington sent the installers out with 3 of the 4 items, but included a product from another customers order. In the meantime, one of the shades originally installed turned out to be malfunctioning so in addition to still being down 1 shade, I had to send back another item. Once again, I had to call to follow up on the status of my order in April. I was told the items were ready but that the installers only worked Tuesdays and Thursdays - despite the inconvenience, I agreed to be home a couple of weeks later (the earliest of the restricted days I could manage). I was assured I would be the first stop of the day between 7-8am. By 8am, I no one had arrived so I left for work and called the Drapery Place (which mysteriously is never answered by a person - only a series of voicemail messages) and requested that since I had to leave, could the installers just leave the products on my porch so I could put them up myself and be done with this. My call was returned about 6 hours later with a vague message about how they could stop in later that day, or the following morning ���whatever was easiest for me.��� By this point, I���ve had it. I returned their phone call and had to leave another message asking for the 2nd time if they could just drop off the items. No one has called me back - that was over a week ago. For the money spent and their access to resources, I expect more from Home Depot! From a customer service standpoint, this has to be one of the most painful experiences I���ve ever had. Waiting 6 months for a few window treatments is unacceptable!

    They did an wonderful job. I thought they were reasonable. They weren't cheap, and they weren't expensive. They are very nice. They were very busy, and couldn't get out right away. They did keep contact with me. They were fine. They helped with the decision making process on what I wanted on those windows. They gave me a lot of good information. There were three workers. Not all together at times. The workers were good. I used them twice with the same set of windows. I finally got the patio shades window.

    Denny Dayhuff's Specialty Cleaning
    Denny did a great job.  He has sold and installed several sets of shades, the latest being last June. Unfortunately, one shade did not function properly,and he wound up making several unpaid trips out here, and contacting the manufacturer to get things straightened out.  In the end I got a shade that works well, and I am very happy with his work.  He is very responsible, and is there when he says he will be. I would recommend him to anyone.

    I told him that I wanted blinds for three windows in my living room area. He told me that it would be another $250.00 for a
    lower cost blind for the three windows. This was $250.00 beyond the $300.00 I had supposedly already spent which is
    way beyond what I would spend for 3 windows. This was a total waste of my time and a waste of $111.00.

    Budget Blinds of Roseville
    We ordered the window treatments in January. We were informed it would take 4-6 weeks to come in and be installed. Six weeks came and went and we heard nothing. We had to call multiple times before finally getting a call back a few days later telling us there was a delay at the manufacturer but they should be in soon. Another few weeks past and no communication from budget blinds. Tried to reach them again and were told we have to understand that we aren't a high paying/big business customer and they have to prioritize towards those spending more money. We timed the order so we would have them before our daughter was born so we wouldn't have installers here with our newborn baby. Baby came on time, installers were here on here 2 month birthday. We do feel the product is quality and the install was quick. The communication was extremely disappointing. We will go elsewhere in the future.

    The service was absolutely fabulous. We picked out the materials within a week and a half and the install was about three weeks later and that was great because they initially said it would be four to six weeks. Stephanie was very professional and helpful. She could not have been nicer. Bill was the installer and he was very fast and you could tell he really knew what he was doing. One of the shades was not tracking right and they noticed this and they replaced the shade later on at no charge. The professionalism was top notch and they were really easy to work with. I would use them again and I plan to.

    From the time of the initial visit Stephanie was very helpful offering solutions for our blinds/shades. She was willing to give a wide variety of options that fit my budget and was very patient as I selected the product.
     Installation was also performed and this was done in a fast professional manner.
    I would/will use them again in the future.

    When I called to make an appointment they were able to be to my house within a week.  There was no rush to pick out blinds, no pressure to purchase ones which were more costly.   I was not sure what to have installed on the patio doors and the sales rep was able to help me pick out window blinds which are working great. Delivery time was as estimated and fit my schedule well.  Overall, I was extremely pleased with everything about this company. Very professional, very punctual and terrific quality.

    I called Blind Installation and Repair, Inc. to see if they repaired Levelor cellular shades. I spoke with Todd who told me they repaired blinds in-house and did not send them to the manufacturer (most other companies send them to the manufacturer and automatically charge you $65). He told me to drive over and he would take a look at the blind to see if they could repair it. When I got there, Todd was very personable and remembered speaking with me on the phone. We briefly discussed the issue I was having with my blind and he immediately began to troubleshoot the problem and removed several shims placed in the header by the manufacturer. Once the shims were removed, the blind opened and closed properly with no issues. I asked Todd how much I owed him and he said there was no charge..."since the blind wasn't broken, they didn't need to fix it". I was shocked at the fact that Todd was able to repair my blind in less than 10 minutes and didn't charge me a cent. I most definitely will use Blind Installation and Repair, Inc. in the future for any of my future window treatment needs. I also have been referring them to all my friends! Hands down, this was the best customer service experience I've encountered in years.
