Seth provided outstanding service. He came to my house at my request several times to thoroughly explain what he would do and recommended a much less extensive project than other companies I consulted. He and his crew were punctual, careful and extremely competent. An absolutely professional and seamless experience.

For us, it was a fairly extensive remodel of our to be listed family home since 1970: Kitchen, bath, family room carpeting, basement walls fully scraped and repainted, basement flooring redone in decorative concrete, outdoor window scrape and repaint (at last minute before closing), and backyard landscaping. Tony and Spence made the project go smoothly. The bid was reasonable and accurate. They were always readily available to answer phone calls or return a call quickly. Tony worked to accommodate us every step of the way. A crew was on site every day, and Tony and/or Spence were stopping in several times a week as well. Listening to our preferences and attention to detail were very important to us, Tony, Spence and the crew were able to do that and more! We are very pleased with the results, the sale and closing went off without a hitch mostly due to the work we had done, and we can't say enough about Yares Services professionalism, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence as we prepared to sell the family home.

There were hiccups along the way. A couple of things we were told they would do did not get done. Mostly I believe it was miscommunication. Overall, they worked hard to make everything right and to make sure we as the homeowners were happy and satisfied. I gave a B for quality only because of the hiccups. Otherwise it would have been an A. But again, they worked hard to make it as right as could be in the long run.

They came out and did a more thorough proposal and bid than any of the 5 contractors we had come. They gave the most impressive proposal and were by far the lowest bid (by more than $1000). They scheduled a 2 day period that worked for us, came out, and did the entire basement in 2 days. It was pretty amazing, actually. We were overly impressed with the work they did and very highly recommend them!

    Basement Water Controlled Co
I had chronic water problems in the house before they came out.  I got water every spring and in every hard rain.  Have not had a problem since they did the work.  They totally solved the issue.  My only problemw with them were in scheduling.  I signed up for the work in July, they started it in November and did everything but the exterior concrete  work. I had to pester them to come out and finish that and even then, they did not come out until I threatened a bad review.  They finally finished the work in June nearly a year after I signed up for the work.

They were pleasant to work with otherwise and we did ask for a few mods as the project went on, and they were great about adjusting to those. They totally solved my water issues and I would be giving them an 'A' if it were not for the problem of getting the last concrete work done.

I have never had a job done so well.  I would recommend  this company in a heart-beat!
I could right a whole page on the quality of work and the friendliness of Nick, but I think
I have summed it up in two sentences already.

    Beaver Basement Water Control
We had a small leak in our basement this spring and given the positive reviews on Angie's List, I reached out to Beaver Basement Water Control back in mid - March to get someone over to see what we needed to do.  Between my schedule and the company workload we agreed that they would call back the following Friday since I would be home anyway to come out.  I never got the call.  I called back to following week and we tried to set up another time, but nothing materialized.  I finally got a voicemail apologizing about two weeks later to see if we could set something up.
I now called back and the owner quickly asked me where I lived (which we had already discussed).  He said that they have decided they are "too busy to cover anything west of the river."  Firstly, I am not "west of the river" by about 2-3 miles.  Secondly, I feel that I had put in time to find him and do this dance to get him to come out and look.  The least he could do would be to bid the job and finish what we started back in March.  Not impressed.  Starting my search for someone to look at my lead again.

It was great working with Jim and his team.
Jim came out three times to discuss the water damage with my wife and I.  He provided suggestions for several things we could do including landscaping and fixing a loose drain pipe.  He answered all our questions.
We ended up installing draintile and a sump pump.  Jim's team did the work in two half days.  The result looks great.
He also brought dirt and re-landscaped the slope away from the house and class 5 limestone to fill in some holes next to a concrete pad outside the house.
He was great to work with.
I did have some reservations going in, because he was by far the lowest bid we had for the work.  But, he was very present in answering questions and talking to us about issues.  And, the work went perfectly, with him doing more than the other companies proposed, but still for less money.

    Quality Basement Waterproofing
After the work was done, he will never call me back! He came out once to check a problem that we had a few years later after the installtion, but the only reason I feel like he came out was because he couldn't recall that he had already done work for us and thought we were just new customers. He never came out to fix it, so I had another company fix it.

    Standard Water Control Systems Inc
Standard Water Control did a wonderful job of installing the pump and the drain tile. After the demolition was completed they cleaned all the debris away and left the basement very clean. The next day the cement crew came to finish the job and once again everything was left clean and neat. All the people from the company that I worked with were very nice to deal with. The results are great. We've had two storms since the pump was installed and everything worked great. No water in the basement. Hurray!
