I thought it went well.  I rated the price as A - mostly because I really don't know what prices are at other area vet offices.  It was much more expensive than the cost of a vet in Central Wisconsin, but then it seems everything in the Twin Cities costs more than what I was used to!  :)  Our dog is an exuberant greeter and I wrote that in my online request for an appointment.  I loved the sweet, welcoming response I received from the clinic.  But when I got there for the first appointment, I wasn't sure anybody knew that I was bringing an exuberant greeter of a dog.  But it really worked out just fine.  I appreciated the reminder about brushing our dog's teeth because I really don't want to have to pay for dental care.  Overall, I was happy with our new vet.......but still miss our vets in Wisconsin!

good place to go if you can get a hold of them. Pros: very affordable, Dr clearly cares and clearly loves what he does. Cons: difficult to reach by phone and no ability to leave message. In fact, I'm not even sure they're open anymore, as I've been calling for a week and can't get an answer. I will likely need to drive over there during business hours to see if they are open. Also, building is old, there are several cats and 2 large dogs roaming, all of whom my dog is scared of.

I can't say enough good things about how well they treat the animals in this clinic. Very professional. The doctors spend as much time as necessary during the visit to make sure you're comfortable with the diagnosis, procedures and medicines. Henry has had his yearly vaccinations, been seen for a cut on his skin and for allergies. Keep up the great work! Keep doing a great job!

This was our first visit to the clinic - we recently got a tea cup yorkie and we brought her in for an initial exam and shots - everyone was very helpful and friendly - the vet was extremely thorough with her, as well as gentle.
    We will be back!

I have been using this vet office for 15 years.  About 5 years ago, it changed owners, and Dr. Mary is a superb veterinarian. Both my cats are very shy and afraid, and both she and the techs can put them at ease. She is very soft-spoken and gentle with them, which makes a big difference.  Most of the time I spend very little time in the waiting room.  The prices are low compared to other vets I have checked out; and they always give me a written estimate of services they are recommending.  A great deal of the time the actual price is less than the estimate.  I don't feel Dr. Mary pushes me into getting services that are not necessary; and she suggests options if there are any.  I had to have one cat euthanized 3 years ago, and it was handled compassionately, and even with a followup sympathy card.

I would recommend them because of the quality of the care. It is very affordable. He is practical and doesn't run a lot of tests. One of his goals is to keep it affordable. Because of that I am able to keep all the pets I have. You won't find a cheaper vet.

They have done a lot of things for me. I like everything about them. I have been going to them for years. I used to have a Golden Retriever, and she has had seizures. I did not know what was happening to her so I called the veterinarian. He got my dog in his car. He has a recliner in his back so if he has got a really sick animal, he sleeps there with them.

This was a simple boarding for an overnight, due to project we had going on. we were watching the dog for our daughter who was out of town for a long weekend. Normally they require that all shots, etc be up to date, but they allowed an exception since we have had checkup, shots, etc for the dog done there. I like that we can pick the dog up on days when they are not normally open - they have a 1 hour window of time for pickups on Sundays. The service has always been friendly, even though our dog is always glad to be picked up.

Both procedures went very well.  I have been going to Dr. Epping for ten years.  He has treated three of my dogs - two of the dogs for which he provided services had serious ailments throughout their lives. Under Dr. Epping's care they both lived well into their "teens".   I have found Dr. Epping and his staff to be very compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and helpful.  Both the reception area and the exam rooms are absolutely spotless and the prices are very fair and comparable to other clinics.  Dr. Epping takes all the necessary time asking questions and examing my dogs.  Thus, before he makes any diagnosis, he knows all of the facts.  I can always trust that Dr. Epping will be honest with me and tell me everything even if it is bad news.  I have been very impressed that if he felt he needed additional input from other specialists he told me and either referred me or took the time to contact the specialists himself. He has always been very complete and thourough in examing my dogs, whether it is during a regular annual exam or diagonsing and treating a more serious ailments. I highly recommend him to be the veternarian for anyones pet.

    VERY well -

First, this is our regular vet clinic. We have followed Dr. Soderburg from our first and quot;chanceand quot; encounter with him about 10 or more years ago when he was with a multi-vet clinic. After that chance encounter we always requested him when we took our dog in for routine care and concerns. In the last few years of her life, she developed a serious chronic illness. He kept her alive, stable, and active for several years. In the end he helped us decide that it was time to euthanize her. When we purchased our current dog, he was at a clinic on the other side of the Twin Cities while he was in the process of opening his own clinic in Blaine. It took some time to actually find out where he was working, but we decided it was worth the effort. He then opened this clinic in Blaine.

In addition to being competent, he is always gentle with the pets. He - and his staff - are friendly, concerned, and patient with whatever questions you have. They also do follow up calls to check on your pet if any work has been done. The office is also always clean.

As an aside, our dog needed care when one of our daughters was taking care of him for us. She took the dog out there and because of what she observed decided to change vets and drive from St. Paul to this clinic.
