Shower looks brand new, and based on everything I've read, we have superior grout. (There seems to be a consensus that epoxy grout is a better material. The knock against it is that it's difficult to work with, but Allen has been using this material for many years.) .

Dercon did an amazing job helping us with our remodel--inside and out. They kept to schedule, informing us of changes. They spent hours reworking plans for our remodel, and it turned out wonderful. We got exactly what we wanted. All the workers were friendly and professional. Stephan was on top of every detail (much appreciated) and answered our questions....even the silly ones! I highly recommend Dercon.

The job went exceptional well as planned with timelines in place and very professional in all areas of the project. We though of the big box retailers to get the job done but were satisfied with the individual approach that John provided. Could not be happier with the outcome of the projects. John goes the extra mile in pleasing his clients.

Well. This is a family business which is wonderful to work with. They are competent and pleasant to work with. I always knew what was happening and what it would cost. Calls were answered or someone immediately called back. Had an issue with painting. They fired the painters and redid those areas themselves. HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!

The marble stone was of varying sizes and depths, glued to mesh backing for ease of installation. When it came, there was a lot of damage in the shipment, enough that we could not finish the project. The damage was spread throughout various boxes, and showed as cracks and breaks in individual pieces as well as chips on internal corners, indicating that the problem was [at least in part] a quality control issue with the supplier. RBC ordered more on a rush basis and didnt charge me for the replacement, even though the supplier has thus far denied their request for reimbursement. It wasnt RBCs fault that the stone arrived damaged, but they made it right for me, the customer. HIGHLY recommend this professional stone and tile supplier. They stand behind their products!

Aleksey worked on a small bathroom where we were converting a tub to a shower and replacing all the tile. He was very attentive to detail and consulted me appropriately on decisions regarding the final design and other issues related to the conversion of a tub to a shower. He was also able to give me good advice on grout color and the specific type of grout to use. I think the final product looks great and will serve us well for many many years.
This was a difficult job not because the space is so large, but rather because it is a very small bathroom in an 8th floor condo. This means that all the demolition trash and the new tile, mortar, etc. had to be taken up and down in an elevator. And, there is no attached garage for cutting the tile. Aleksey worked very well within these constraints personally carrying the heavy loads of garbage and the mortar, etc. Seeing how hard he had to work to do this job, I can tell you that it was worth every penny to have him do it. I rated the price good versus excellent because it was expensive to hire out for this tiny bathroom. However, the quality is excellent and there is absolutely no way this could have been DIY, in my opinion. It would have take much much longer and I know I would not have had the quality needed.
I would recommend Aleksey to others needing tile work.

Bill was terrific.  This wasn't a large job and it was outside of his normal service area but he took it on anyway, and charged us a very reasonable price.  We had someone else tile this bathroom floor 3 years prior, and were always unhappy with it because the tiles were uneven.  We purchased the same tile and Bill came out and ripped out the bad tile job and re-tiled it for us.  The quality of his work was outstanding and we are very happy with our now evenly tiled floor.  He also installed the new toilet we purchased as we wanted to replace the old one as long as it had been removed for tiling.  I highly recommend him.

Aleksey did a terrific job.  We had him install glass tile with a deco glass and porclein accent incorporated into the design.  He has a good eye and offered suggestions that, in the end, really improved the results.  His attention to detail is evident in his work.  He excels at his craft.  I took some photos and was hoping to post 2 photos with the review but I can't figure out how to do this.

I called the service provider after purchasing the Big Deal to schedule appointment time. I spoke with Alexey and he was very informative about the different options that were available, about tiling, and spoke for about 15 minutes. He took his time explaining everything. I did end up deciding to put this project on hold, and to schedule it at a later date.

He was responsive and great at communicating and following up. He scheduled a number of visits to get our job done and fit it in his schedule. He was nice to work with and the backsplash looks good.
