    I went there for the first time because it is a family locally owned and well respected business, but it ended with poor quality workmanship. Quarter panel repair almost took a month because of poor communication, the final product didn't look good and they scratched the bumper so they repainted everything, they picked up the remainder rental car tab because of the length to complete the job. Although they did complete the work with my satisfaction I will not be returning there or recommend their business.

    The work was done quickly and looked good; it is warrantied for life. Overall, they were easy to work with. Note this is for shop on American Blvd. in Bloomington, MN but that address did not show up in the Angies List system.

    I took my care in to get a bumper replaced and they ended up holding my car for an extra 2 days - I dropped my car off on a Thursday, they kept it until the following Tuesday - after promising me they would have it done by the weekend ( I asked them several times before booking the appointment if the job could be done before August 14 because I was starting a new job). Initially they ordered the wrong bumper and then the second one was delayed showing up. I received a text message that Friday stating my car would be done later that day. I then got a phone call stating that my car wouldn't be done until the following Tuesday because the new bumper had not shown up. It wasn't until I called back and stated that I needed my car to get to work the next week that they offered to get me a rental. I waited an additional 2 hours for someone from LaMettry's to come and take me to get the rental car, after they had told me the rental would be delivered to my house. As a female, this made me highly uncomfortable and nervous, but I didn't have another way to go and get the rental and I needed a car to get to a performance that evening. In general there was a lot of phone calls and text updates that said one thing but then another update would come through that would say the complete opposite. They also offered to fix a dent free of charge that they never touched. I will not come back here and I will not be recommending LaMettry's to any of my friends or family. Overall a crummy experience.

    Service was great. Manager was very friendly and professional. Felt like I was important to him. He came highly recommended by a couple of people I fully trust for recommendations. They said that he is not one of the cheaper ones but they really like his work.

    I thought it was great. They are pretty fast. It's kind of a family owned business, independent. I am kind of distantly related to the service provider because the parents of my nephew's wife have the business, but I don't get any special treatment or price breaks.

    They are trying to save us money so they gave us things that we probably wish they would've gave us something a little more expensive. They know us very well. They are very friendly. They are prompt. They do an all around good job except these two times when they've done something we should've said, "No, we want the more expensive thing", so that's the worst part I guess. We've used them for years and we are satisfied with their prices.

    Dennys does all repair and maintenance to our vehicles. We live out of the area so request specific drop-off and pick up times. Vehicle is always ready at time requested. They always contact us with cost and diagnosis before proceeding. Fair and honest!

    I had the car starter installed at the Little Canada location. They have two other locations in Hopkins and St. Paul. The first two cars were done at St. Paul location and this was the first time I used the Little Canada location, which was also my last.
    The installation was average, not nearly as clean and professional as the St. Paul location. After I got the car home, I noticed that there were wires bulging out of the steering wheel column and also noticed the locks never automatically locked when the car start was initiated. I brought it back to Mach 1, and they stated it was working as designed, but I have two other car starters that automatically lock the cars when the starter is enabled, and they also have the same brand and type of starter. Which makes sense to me for safety reasons. I purchased another car in 2012 and had another provider (SunRoofs ETC in Plymouth) install the car starter on my Prius and the job was phenomenal and guess what, the car starter automatically locked the cars.
    I am never going back to Mach 1 in Little Canada. It's possible the techs in St. Paul and Hopkins are much better though.
    It would of been great, if Mach 1 would of just fixed the issue initial  I had instead of giving me the run around and also cleaning up the wires. This year, I am looking to install a backup camera and new stereo system on that same Toyota Corolla and I am taking my business else where. Thanks for reading.

    The waiting room is very nice - and the shop is very clean - but you pay significantly for that.  There was a small leak in my wife's radiator (had to be topped off once every other month) and they talked her into having it fixed - for 600 dollars.  Right after the fix, my wife's car was leaking way more fluid than ever before.  I discovered that the power steering reservoir was snapped in half and leaking everywhere.  I had my wife take the car back in.  Their analysis was that the water pump and the transmission were leaking and recommended replacing the water pump right away.  They did not even notice the power steering reservoir.  I went in and showed them - and they said they could replace the broken bracket - but they said it must have rusted through.  (I still believe they broke it when putting in the new radiator - the timing was too perfect).  Anyway, I refused and ordered and replaced the bracket myself.  We have not had any more leaks.  (I'm not saying that the water pump doesn't drip on occasion or the transmission either for that matter - but I have not had to add anything to them in the last two months.)  My cars are old - I don't need to throw away money on them.
    On my daughter's car, we took it in for a bad distributor and a separated muffler pipe.  The distributor was estimated at $550 installed, and the muffler at another 300.  Plus, they listed a host of other issues and said that it would take ~2500 to get the car running right.  (To their credit, they didn't necessarily recommend having everything fixed - they thought the fixes were worth more than the car.)  I refused service - then ordered the distributor off line ($75) and installed it in about an hour.  I didn't want to mess with the muffler - so I took it to Economy Muffler in St. Paul and they had it replaced in about 20 minutes for $180 total.  (You definitely aren't paying for a nice waiting room there.)
    All told I won't go back.  Finding a good auto mechanic that you can trust is hard - but I think you might have better luck elsewhere.  They are very convenient (to my house) and have a nice waiting area - but I think those overhead items are not something I'm willing to pay for.  I wish I had the $600 back from the radiator replacement.

    Chris has maintained my truck for the past 5 years and is very fair in
    price (usually about 50% less than other shops) he is also great to work
    with, very fast turn around every time.
    I would definitely advise anyone to use Chris's service.
