    I cannot say enough good things about Doug and 1-2-3 Home Theater. My project consisted of mounting a preexisting Home Theater In the Box system into a already-finished lower level. There is no basement or attic to route speaker cables through, and to make matters worse, there is a fireplace with odd columns, PLUS an open walkway leading to a patio door in the room. So basically, worse-case-scenario. I acquired four bids for this project. One said it would be a very tough job but doable. He quoted me just under $2500. Another said I should abandon the speaker wires altogether and purchase a new wireless system, to the tune of $3000 - not including install. A third bid scratched his head, said, "I need a beer" and left without ever giving me a bid for the project. Then Doug came and saw it. He also echoed some other contractors that said it would be a difficult job but he was confident that he could find a way to make it work. It was nice bonus that his bid also came in at a reasonable price too! The day of the install, I was confident that Doug could do that job, but also very nervous that things could go very wrong because of the hesitation that came from the other installers. The job was not without issues that come up, but Doug informed me every step of the way and presented me with options on how to get around those issues. So, with three separate trips out for supplies and tools between the two of us, the job was completed to my great satisfaction. I don't know how he did it all by himself but I can tell you that the job would have taken 100x longer if I attempted to do it myself. My advice to you is to call Doug and 1-2-3 Home Theater. No other estimates are necessary.

    Still could not get a line into the house after 80 days. Had 7 failed install appointments where I took off work to meet them. I have personally had over 25 calls to them. They seem to pride themselves on it "not being my department" for excuses as to cause of failure. They have so many contractors that they cannot talk to or verify when their work is going to be completed. Regional supervisors do not even return calls and when do cannot get things done. I was able to get other services installed within 6 days using frontiernet and Dishtv. Now I have holes Mediacom cut into new asphalt driveway that they are not fixing and not returning calls about. This is from their cable bury crew. Last appointment to fix driveway called 3x's during previous week to verify driveway asphalt repair. Day comes, appt window passes, 3 hrs later they call and tell me a tech (cable repair) is not available for the appt. I asked weren't you coming to fix driveway they said no was never marked.... Constant incompetence. Whole company is nothing but individual silos that never speak to each other so nothing gets done or done right.

    Wonderful.  Very very good.  They were helpful in getting us exactly what we needed.  He charged only what we worked out the deal through angies list and took the time to teach us about netflix and recording.  Excellent, timely service.  He was very nice to work with.

    Rick came on time, was courteous, efficient and very thorough. He obviously knew his business. I've done coxial tv cable install, and so was able to determine he was doing exactly what was needed. Our signal is excellent. Rick made sure we would call him if there were any difficulties. We don't anticipate any. When he discovered he did not need to replace the antenna he significantly reduced the cost to us. Fine service courteously done. I'd use him again, but I don't expect to ever need him!

    They do a very poor job with wiring. I had to have them come out three times because they didn't bury my cable deep enough and my neighbor kept running over it with his lawnmower. Also the cable hook-up they made on the telephone pole looks like a rat's nest, rather than something a professional would do. If I had a choice I wouldn't use them again.

    I have had periods of network crashes, sometimes it would happen once a day. I would call them but I would never get through thanks to jammed phone lines. Also they've raised their prices twice on the packages I have with no clear indication why. If I had a choice I wouldn't use them again.

    They are just an average company not doing a great job. I’m stuck with them because of contract. They don’t do a great job but they do an okay job.
