FNeumann Construction IncI needed a house and garage roof done and after he came and looked at it I was told that he would email me a bid by that Friday and after 7 attempts to contact someone because I have never gotten the bid I was promised, noone has returned my calls texts or emails.. It had been two weeks now and we are talking 16 squares for my house and garage.. They may have all the business they need but it is no reason to blow me off and not tell me to find someone else to do the job.. Very disappointed... It's getting too late in the year to find someone, after seeing all the great reviews, I wonder what it is about the 4 of us that had such a bad experience because they never contacted us back and didn't care enough as to explain..hummm- Lori H.

APaul Quick IncAfter approving the estimate, a future start date was selected to allow Paul time to finish other projects. Paul and crew arrived as scheduled and continued working hard each day until the work was done as promised. Cleanup was done each evening even though they would be returning the next morning. Paul does not try to oversell you on anything. In fact, he will make suggestions on how you can save money where possible. On a previous visit, I had asked Paul to estimate the cost to repair a leak in a difficult area of my roof. Two previous roofers had suggested that it would be very expensive and I should go ahead and replace the roof. Paul was able to fix the leak in less than an hour. This should allow me to get several more years before replacing the roof.- MICHAEL H.

They took time to explain what work was going to be done and what to expect. All workers were very respectful and professional! I felt very good about how they listened to my ideas and concerns. The end result was so good, we hired them again for some interior finishing trim work. They cleaned up after the job better than it was when they arrived. AGene met with me personally, his office staff kept me informed on dates for dumpster delivery and timing of completion. Gene was at the job site several times to inspect his crews and work. Best yet, he did all the hard work with the insurance company and adjusters. After initially being told by the insurance company that they would only pay for a few roof repairs, he was able to spend the time with another adjuster and get the whole roof done as well as the siding.

DAfter water was running into the house due to ice dams they were able to come out the next day and get the water to stop comming inside. Thats the good. The bad is we were gouged to the tune of one thousand dollars for two hours worth of work. They did very little to clear the eves off, they still had a heavy sheet of ice. Its a week later and dams are back. They tried charging even more saying they worked longer than they did. Id say we payed 5x the value for 2/3 job.

FI had my first appointment last summer, Jeff Lamkins was the rep that came by. Jeff did the demo and I was interested, but at the beginning of my shopping. Next thing I know Jeff is giving me a state fair discount, a buy today discount, and a Vet bonus, even though I am not a Vet. I told him that I wanted to look at other products and Jeff said; "Why, read these consumer reports, they even say we're the best". I told him I was not buying that day and he became angry and more obnoxious with the high pressure sales tactic. I asked him to leave my house. As I escorted him out my door, he said "if I walk out this door those discounts are gone". I tried a few times to talk to management and finally reached Steve. He was pretty easy to work with and said he would honor Jeff's lowest quote. I parked the gutter project for the fall and decided to resume it this spring. I scheduled another appointment with LeafFilter provided the Jeff did not get the sale and that Jeff not step foot on my property. Eric Vevea came by today and was a very nice guy. Unfortunately he was not well prepared. He did not have the notes from Jeff's bid, and after doing the measurements, he did not have the filter with him for my style of gutter and wanted to book another appointment. So I could not get a bid today and my wife could not see the product. This did not go well with my wife. I have seen many other reviews that have 3 common themes: high pressure sales, poor communication, and the have sloppy work and leave huge messes. After all of this and reading several reviews I am leaning towards purchasing from a different vendor.
