Very unhappy with my experience working with Willis and Scott Painter Pros. They are a better sales organization than painting company- they did not deliver on quality, timetable or price (paid hourly for wallpaper removal and wall patching). Overpromised and underdelivered on every aspect of the job. The whole project was poorly managed with no one in charge. We literally had to ask 5 times for anything to get done, as whoever we talked to wouldn't be around again and didn't communicate it to others. I feel (and have heard since) that they are overselling and then quickly running out picking up contractors to fulfill the work. We had a worker doing drugs on-site. Just a very unprofessional company and terrible experience. I would not recommend Willis and Scott Painter Pros to anyone.

Both components of the job were done very well and on the timetable quoted.  I rec'd updates frequently, but not overly so.  I always felt I could call and get an update at anytime if I wanted.  Kurt (owner) really cares about the quality first and foremost and how the craftsmanship reflects back on him and his company.  There were no shortcuts taken.  The amount (lack thereof) of dust, considering the work done on the floors and ceilings was pretty incredible.  I know they take precautions to minimize dust as much as possible and did a great job in doing so.  If quality is your first requirement, B&R is a great company to work with.

Great! We initially purchased three days of the Angie's Big Deal for soffit tear out/repair. We then hired Mark to do more work as our project progressed. The soffit tear out was difficult as they were very solidly built. It was a messy job, but no where near as messy as I thought it would be and Mark tidied up at the end of each day.
After the soffits were torn out, Mark recommended that we have the electrician out to do the electrical modifications we were going to do before he started his sheetrock patching and he flexed his schedule to accomodate.
Once the electrical work was done, Mark returned for three days to remove the popcorn ceiling, patch sheetrock and skimcoat/sand/skimcoat/sand/skimcoat/sand the ceiling. Again, this is a messy, messy job, but again, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. We used plastic to cover everything and to seal off doorways.
Next, it was on to the concealed hinges, plugging the big holes left in both the cabinets and cabinet frames by the old exposed hinges
that were embedded in the wood.
Mark is great to work with, pleasant, friendly, (dog lover, too - bonus ;)). When he commits to you for a day and time, he will be there. He is very punctual, professional and hard working. He is good at figuring things out or finding solutions when unexpected issues come up. We would hire Mark again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him.  He's an all around great guy.

It went great.  He was professional and really neat.  There was one spot that we did need to add a bit more plaster to but he said when it dryed that may happen.  would totally hire him again.

I found Ivan via Angie's List. We chatted briefly over the phone. He scheduled a time to stop in to give me the estimate (and was 90 min late for the appointment) but he clearly knew what he was doing and apologized that a previous project ran late. He gave me the estimate on the spot and wrote it up. I agreed to the price and he started within a week. Ivan dropped off the drywall one early evening which I stored in my garage. His installers showed up the next day and went right to work. I had agreed to remove the crown molding and lights and clear out the room before they showed up. Installation of the drywall was fast. The installers made a reasonable attempt to clean up and did well cutting out the light boxes from the original lights. Ivan showed up for a few hours over a few afternoons to do his work. From start to finish the kitchen was down for about a week. Not bad. The ceiling looks great. I primed and painted the ceilig myself after I paid Ivan. His fee was $850 plus the cost of the drywall.

Kurt and Chris were wonderful to work with! We had such a great experience. They were very professional and made me feel so comfortable while they were working. We have three kids and it can be difficult having any work done and trying to balance day-to-day life, but they made it so easy for us. They became part of the family!!!!! (Even my dog was happy to see them each morning!) They painted the entire interior of our home, including a 30 foot vaulted room. They were meticulous and very easy to work with! They fixed every nail pop and every flaw in the walls before painting. The job was done so well! They want to please their clients! We cannot wait to use them again. Thanks, Kurt and Chris! My kids are still asking when they will see you next! :-)

Matt was on time to do the estimate and was also responsive to my urgent need to have the job done quickly.  He had someone there the next day and the job was finished by that Friday so I could paint over the weekend.  I was able to move into the basement on time to be ready for my next project of a hardwood floor remodel.  The cost of this procedure was much higher than I expected but after other estimates I found it was a good price and the quick response couldn't be beat.

Extremely well. Kurt and Dave were highly professional, pleasant to work with, prompt, courteous, and flexible (when it turned out that what was required was something different from the original plan). I wanted to have some old wallpaper removed from my dining room walls so that I could paint them. It turned out that what was underneath wasn't "paintable", and that new drywall needed to be laid over the old walls. Kurt and Dave were able to devise a new plan that turned out very well, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I felt confident trusting both of them to work without me there, and happily gave them my key code to get in the house. I would most definitely hire them again in the future.

Garth was great. He was very professional and the job was very well done. He communicated with me throughout the whole process and I am very pleased with the work that he did. Very personable and would recommend him to anyone I knew needing this type of work done.

Everything turned out really well. You cannot tell where the patch is at all, and we did not have to paint. We did not compare prices so I cannot rate his prices, but we were very happy with him and would use him again.
