  I moved into an unfamiliar new city in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro, and used Lockguard to re-key all of my doors (recommended by my property manager at a prior home, where I had used them before to fix a sticky lock). Excellent service, very professional. I was also impressed that Chuck took the time to walk through my new home to discuss safety issues and suggestions on how to bolster my general security. A few days after he had been through to re-key my doors, I caught a segment on the local news that was discussing these very same safety issues and recommending the reinforced dead bolts, etc that Chuck had just brought up. About 2 weeks later, Chuck came back to my home to install the reinforcements to both of my doors, upgrade my garage/mud room door to a deadbolt with reinforcement and install a shield to my garage door opener to prevent someone from tinkering with the mechanism from the outside. I now have extra peace of mind. Thrilled with the decision to install the safety measures. Would highly recommend without any reservation.

  We have used Lockguard services several times in the past. Today, the lock on our lower level patio door was not able to be unlocked so we couldn't use the door. We called Lockguard and they came right over and repaired the lock. Nice people & amazing service!

  When we realized that we had lost both the chip keys to our car, there was a little swearing, a little gnashing of teeth, and then some investigation about "what do we do now?"  Discovered Quality locksmith from Angie's List, liked what the reviews said, and gave the company a call.  As I was leaving a voicemail, Terry rang me, so I got IMMEDIATE response.  I explained the situation, and we arranged that he would come asap.  He arrived from clear across the metro in about 90 minutes shortly after the rush hour!

  Twenty-five minutes later, Terry had safely and efficiently opened my vehicle, found the key code for my car, cut two new chip keys, programmed them to my vehicle, and I was signing the credit card receipt!  Amazing.  I have never had to do something like this, so it was terrific to have the process go so smoothly. 

  Terry was very professional, friendly,  prompt, and explained the entire process to me (because I was curious and asked lots of questions, I find this kind of technology and service to be really interesting).  It was well worth the money because he performed a very necessary service, came to my home, and had everything he needed to complete the job in his nifty service vehicle.

  I would highly recommend Quality Locksmith Service Inc. for any car lock and key needs.  If this happens again (I will be careful that it won't ...) or if I need locks serviced or changed at my home, I will call them again.

  Bait and switch.  Quoted $54 over the phone as a minimum price and may be more depending on the type of lock.  The technician's form lists emergency lock out services fee of $165.  Then they added on a $30 service fee.  It took literally 5 seconds to break in. 
  I was locked out of my house and didn't have access to Angie's list.  A neighbor looked up locksmith services and they popped up first so I used them.  Big Mistake!  I see by reviewing what other customers wrote up, this bait and switch is standard for them.

  Pop A Lock

  I called on a Friday morning and they were able to come out within the hour. It took them less than five minutes to get into the Jeep and retrieve the keys. The man who did the work was very professional and pleasant. We would definitely call them again.

  We were quoted a reasonable fee over the phone to open our house, when the very rude technician - Mr. Perez arrived late, he immediately started raising the fees to 140 for the service call and 180 to pick the lock.  Being in a desperate sitiuation, we were forced to pay, however we managed to negotiate to 140 for 10 minutes of service, after much arguing.  When I attempted to contact the service provider to complain, they were completely unresponsive.  Do not use their services...we only called them because they showed up first on Google search and they quoted a reasonable fee.
