    Both were ultimately fixed, although we needed to wait over a week for a new part. The part was available with a day or two, but then needed to schedule a second appointment, which took more than a week. We were told that the second appointment would only take a few minutes, so it was disappointing to wait that long, with an empty fridge. We had hoped that a quick fix could have been squeezed in sooner. That being said, the technician was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The ice maker and water dispenser have been working well since the fix. Other than the scheduling gap, everything was great.

    I expected an easy repair for the dishwasher, and it went better than expected (part repair versus replacement). The challenge was finding a part for my vintage stove. They found it and repaired quickly. I appreciated they were up for the challenge and didn't just write it off as an impossible task.

    Well, appliances these days are not made to last. Replacement cost is around $300. $89 service call seemed a worthwhile risk. Kyle the service tech said a transducer was stuck. He has it working for now but to fix the problem we would need a new board. The cost for the board and repair would be similar to a new microwave. So we will buy a new microwave when it stops working again. Kyle also looked at our washing machine, dryer and upright freezer. He said they are old but as long as they are working fine, keep them.

    I haven't used them in a while. They got kind of expensive. I don't remember what the price was but I remember thinking wow that was a lot just to tell me it wasn't worth fixing. I thought they could apply it to an appliance or something in their store. I used to use them a lot and I thought they just kept getting more expensive. They are a lot more than other stores. So we ended up not buying it from them. They would always come quickly. In the past I have always had good experiences with them but this last time I was just disappointed. I felt negative enough about the price that I went somewhere else. They have been helpful in the past. Maybe they didn't overcharge me and it was just me. The repairs they have done in the past I felt were really reasonable but it was just this time they couldn't fix it. I realize they had to spend time to look at it.

    This is a great company. John O'Brien came and cleaned my dryer. He answered all my questions. I asked him to see if my washer was spinning out as good as it could. He agreed that the water could be spinning out a little better. He cleaned out the filter in the washer too. They advertised a special for dryer duct cleaning. That is what they came on. I paid him extra to work on the washer. I would definitely want him back again. I think i am going to get them to clean my decks. There was a wheel in my dryer that he thought was maybe making the noise that was bothering me. He said it has plastic wheels and they get worn unevenly. I might have him work on that too. I thought he was just wonderful. He was real alert to everything that could be wrong. I asked him if I could watch him and he said I could. He explained everything to me. It just felt reassuring to have someone that was knowledgeable, polite, helpful and knew his business. He said that they do all appliance. I would call him if I had a problem with my refrigerator or something like that. They were prompt.

    MN Plumbing & Appliance Installation
    Installation was terrible. Started with MN Plumbing at last minute saying they could not keep the scheduled time. Then installation job was faulty. Since learned they created a very slow leak which has caused water damage to house. There initial response was that it was not their problem as they felt there work quality was fine. Then they simply stopped returning my calls. Currently, Best Buy is handling an insurance claim on their behalf. They do not stand behind their work in any way. Buyer beware.

    I don't know where to start. I called around and was referred to D and T. Eric answered on the second ring. Wow. He had Jol ready to go and was out at my house in 40 minutes. Double Wow. It took Jol 15 minutes to fix my frig! Triple Wow. I needed it done same day, D and T got it done same morning. Happy wife, happy life.

    I selected D & T because they are a Dacor authorized dealer. I had to wait a week or so because they wanted to make sure the tech had the right part for our ovens and they did not have the part in stock which they suspected had failed. When the tech arrived, he checked the oven and confirmed it was the upper oven's power relay. However, that is not available as a separate part. Instead, the entire controller board had to be replaced for the upper oven, which made it quite a bit more expensive. I had him go ahead. With the replacement board in place, the oven has worked properly ever since. I am disappointed with Dacor for not using a more robust power relay in this oven and the replacement board is just the same as the original.
