    Randy's Electric
Randy's Electric took advantage of my elderly mother! My mother just spent 5 weeks in the hospital on life support. When she was released and arrived home she was experiencing problems with her electricity in her kitchen and bathroom the lights were flickering and then the power went out. She called and scheduled an electrician with Randys electric to come out and fix the problem. When the electrician arrived the next day he started scaring the **** out of her telling her it could be a major problem and cost as much as $18,000 to rewire her entire condo (Its 1 level and 950 square feet). He also said the problem could be the circuit breaker panel that needed to be replaced and that would cost her $14,000. He then said that if he performed a circuit restoration and replaced 4 power outlets, replaced 2 other power outlets in kitchen with GFCI outlets, replaced the 2 light switches in the bathroom, replaced the chandelier in the dining room with a led recessed light and replaced the 2 florescent tube light fixtures in the kitchen with two 2x2 led light panels. He said he was confident it would fix her problem. He then told her that it would only cost her $3,300 to do (Made it sound like a bargain after the other 2 prices he gave her). She then said she can't afford that and he told her not to worry because they have a 1 year interest free financing plan. She wasn't happy but felt it was the cheapest option of the options he gave her so she reluctantly agreed to do it. He spent 5-6 hours there and he left. 2 days later her lights began to flicker and the power in the kitchen and bathroom went out again. When she told me what happened I called Randys irate! The lady on the phone took my info and said she would have the manager call me. 2 hours later I get a call from the electrician trying to convince me he dint screw over my mother. I told him to have his manager call me. Needless to say no one has tried to call me since. We called another electrician contractor (no way we were calling Randys again). They arrived within 2 hours. When he got there I explained to him the entire situation and he went to the circuit breaker panel. Within 5 minutes he said your problem is the outside power coming into her condo. He went outside and within another 5 minutes found that a dual 100 amp breaker was the problem. He was there for around an hour and charged less than $150 to fix the problem once and for all. I then showed him the work Randys did and asked him how much they would charge. He said about $700-800 total not $3,300. I also asked him what they would charge if she needed a new circuit breaker panel and he said $1,200 at the most not $14,000 like Randys quoted. He said in all his years he has never seen someone get it so wrong. I question if the guy from Randys is even an electrician. Where did he get his license? A cracker jack box?? Randys electric is by far the worst and the most cold hearted company I have ever heard of. The electrician (thats questionable) knew that my mom just got out of the hospital (she almost died) and all he was concerned with is screwing her out of money and up-selling her. He's probably on a commission and sold her crap she didn't need or even want. Randy's Electric should be ashamed of themselves. I don't know how they sleep at night!!! Below is a pic of the breaker the (real electrician) replaced. Look at the rust and corrosion.

    Great Lakes Home Renovations
Left d vanity in garage after demo. Placed electric box incorrectly in a finished bedroom. Now stud and insulation is visible. Mischarged credit card. Refuse to fix electric box and dispose of old vanity. I was told it was 5-7 job. Started July 16 and finished sept 27.

    Harrison Electric Inc
This is the second time I have hired Harrison Electric. The first job was nearly $5k and this one was about $1k. The most recent experience was today and they hung a pendant light, installed a dimmer, added and outlet and GFI, completely rebuilt two outside outlets. Dave is fabulous and I feel is really looking out for me and my family and goes above and beyond. If you need an electrician, look no further.

    LOWES HOME CENTERS INC
Our was great and timely to begin - then one of the last items to pout inn was the countertop. It wasn't correct- b/c of holidays it took longer to receive 2nd one - it was incorrect. It took 5 times before it worked. Correct measuring was rough Foote them. We also requested our light be raised and that didn't happen b/c it was addressed too late and walls had already been mudded and painted. I wouldn't recommend Blaine Lowes. The contractor we did really like - they did great work. Send date should have been Dec 10 or so and we didn't finish until mid March.

    Randy's Electric
Randys Electric came promptly and closed off my socket. They then looked at a non emergency problem I was having with another light and gave me valuable advice on the situation. It reassured me that things were safe.

    K2 Bath Deck & Kitchen
First I have to say that being able to see all samples in our home and picking cabinetry, tiles, mirrors, lights, faucets, towel bars all to match was worth a lot to me. I'd rather pay more do it that way than go from one shop to another trying to come up with everything ourselves. Stephen helped us pick out a look that we loved. One Major hiccup though not unexpected was discovery of need to replace a tub and subfloor not in the original contract. High suspicion of damage was revealed when flooring was removed. This of course hiked up the price. Minor hiccups with a few incorrect items delivered which slowed process down, however Dustin and Mike worked extra on 2 Saturdays to catchup and they actually finished the project 3 days earlier than projection despite waiting for some pieces. They just kept busy with something all the time. These guys were such perfectionists that they kept me happy! That's not easy... ask anybody that knows me! Damon was always great about getting any hiccups taken care of as quickly as possible. They were all great about explaining what next steps were in a fluid situation. As much as we thought we liked what we picked out, seeing it with our own eyes when it was done was way, way better. It is obvious these folks specialize in Bath & Design like it says in there name. I can't imagine a better company! We are overwhelmingly satisfied!!

    Harrison Electric Inc
The work is great. He went around the house and mentioned other things I may want to look at replacing and gave prices for everything. Very informative and helpful. BUT, the cost in my view is pretty high. I indicated I would probably hire them again, based upon the professionalism, etc., but I do more comparison shopping next time around. I had gotten an estimate elsewhere for about half the cost of this, but have not had great experience with them in the past, so was reluctant to try this other company again. I went with Harrison because they were highly rated on Angies List.

It was great! Dave was early and we went through the whole house with issues. We added more projects including installing 17 new canned lights. What was surprising is he called for another electrician and they delivered the parts and handled it all in one call! That never happens these days. I am extremely pleased. They were kind, helpful, professional, and cleaned up very well!

    Randy's Electric
Lousy. $99 for $200 Angie's add is VERY deceiving. I know Contractor work isn't cheap, but the final estimate for less than 3 hours work was $1200.00. I thought I may be paying anothe $100-$200, but another $1000, on top of Angie's payment? Rediculous. Techs were polite enough, but again, a very deceiving add. I paid the service call fee of $59. Shouldn't have.

    PRIMARY ELECTRIC INC
Service was great! They were prompt, courteous, and efficient. They answered my questions. The lights I had them put in look nice. They even fixed an unknown problem with the existing bathroom light fixture wiring (no box) prior to putting in the new fixture without damaging the wall. I will hire them again for future electrical work.
