    I am so grateful we chose Jessica and G��kotta Travel for our first international spring break trip with our kids age 12 and 14.  She asked us lots of questions about our vacation desires and our budget and came up with a fantastic, action-packed 8-day trip to Costa Rica for us. Even when our plans had to be changed last minute due to our eldest dislocating her knee, Jess and her partners came up with alternative activities to accommodate her injury.  Talk about a stress-free trip!  All our ground transport was arranged with knowledgeable and super friendly (and bilingual!) guides and drivers. We met them at the appointed time each day and went on amazing adventures: guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, a catamaran/snorkeling tour, kayaking in the mangroves and more! Our itinerary was just the right amount of activities balanced with ample leisure time.  I think Jess was almost as excited about this trip as we were!  I have recommended her several friends with upcoming vacations.  Her passion for travel and commitment to great customer service make her the perfect choice for all your travel planning needs.

    On Friday April 20, 2018 I downloaded the Uber app and registered for an account. The next day, when I tried to log-in to my account to schedule a ride, the app was not accepting my phone number. The app stated that my phone number was already registered, which made no sense, I was simply trying to log-in to the account I had just set up the previous day. After several unsuccessful attempts to log-in, I received the following email message: "Hi Jeffery, Thanks for reaching out. We���ve reviewed your account and saw activity that doesn���t comply with Terms of Use. As a result, we���ve determined that you���re no longer eligible to ride with Uber, and we���ve deactivated your account, effective immediately. While we understand this news may be upsetting, our decision is final." So they have apparently banned me for life before I have even had the opportunity to try their service. How does setting up an account and attempting to log-in not comply with their terms of service? Unfortunately, they do not even have a rider Customer Service department. They have no email address and no phone number to call for assistance.

    Airport Taxi
    I used the Yellow Taxi web site to get an estimate prior to booking a cab. The estimate said it would be around $23 to get from our home to Terminal 2. 
    The taxi arrived a little early, which was great. It was a huge van even though they knew it was just going to be two adults and a small child. The driver was very nice, professional, perfect. He even had a car seat all set up in the back of the van, I have never seen such attention to detail in a cab.
    My only complaint, and it's a big one for me, is that the total was $38, about $15 more than the estimate. Even thought I realize it's just an approximate estimate (although, how much can it really vary at 4 a.m.?) the difference is too large. Maybe it was because they sent a van, but I didn't ask for a van. If that is the case, it's a bit of bait and switch, which is why we will not use this service again.

    Mobile Handy Man LLC
    Shows up on time to take analysis of parts needed, comes back on time to install parts.  I called him up a  couple days later as I still had problem with motor.  He calls me right back and comes over same day (on time again).  Spends 4 hours in the water and stays till motor is good as new.  Nice man, works hard and knows a lot about motors.  I would recommend him to anyone.

    Driver arrived with 24 passenger shuttle ahead of schedule.  Drove wedding party to multiple venues for pictures and then to the ceremony at Minnehaha Falls Park.  Following the ceremony, drove them to reception venue.  Bus was clean.  Driver was professional and personable.  Bridal party felt the driver was a part of the whole experience. There were absolutely no issues with the service.

    Major Wood Dock
    I have worked with Major Wood Dock on previous projects and was satisfied with their work. Unfortunately though, for this job the workmanship of Major Wood on their first visit was not even close to acceptable ? the re-decking had crooked boards, improperly secured boards, cracked boards, bad cuts, and very uneven spacing. The owner, Greg, indicated that he was ?embarrassed? by his work. He was very apologetic and reassured us that he wanted the job to be ?our idea of perfect.? We were not expecting perfect and told him that we were willing to live with reasonably well done, as the underlying structure itself was not being rebuilt. After the initial visit, the owner himself made plans to come out a second time, so a more experienced assistant could come out to help him fix the issues. Unfortunately, I was not able to ascertain all of the issues prior to the company?s second visit because there were so many. I had focused on the larger issues, but as some those were fixed (not everything I had identified was fixed during the second visit); several additional issues came to my attention. When I called back a third time and scheduled a final appointment, I was disappointed that Major Wood failed to show up at the scheduled time and failed to return multiple calls/requests. After waiting several weeks, I was only able to get resolution by creating a BBB claim and an Angie?s List complaint. It wasn?t until a third party intervened that the company finally resolved my issue. I am still not entirely satisfied with the workmanship on my walkway, but most of the blatant issues have been addressed so I consented to close my claim. I will never do business with this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
