    Como Park Animal Hospital
My assessment of the Como Park Animal Hospital is based upon two visits to that facility. The first visit was an initial physical to treat a chronic condition in our Chihuahua. The second visit was ten days later for the euthanization of that same dog. Clearly, just about any pet vet that has 24 hour service, more technology, surgical facilities and surgical expertise, is a better choice than a regular veterinary clinic. That is, if the cost of service is about the same (or less), and your pet has a chronic medical condition. Emergences never happen at convenient times. Right? That being said, we found everything about our interactions with Como Park Animal Hospital to be at least a step above anything we have ever seen, and we are seventy years old! We have had a lot of dogs over the years. We found exceptional caring and empathy. That would be Empathy with a capital E. The doctor listened well. The doctor explained things well. The euthanization process that WE chose, was to sedate the dog gradually while we sheltered and comforted it in the privacy of a special, calm, dimly lit funeral home type of a room. When the dog was fully sedated, it was given back to the doctor for final euthanization, an event that WE chose not to attend. The cost for this service was very reasonable. I would say that the cost for the other vet services that we received was also very reasonable. So, I would highly recommend Como Park Animal Hospital to any pet owner. In the waiting room we saw rabbits, a exotic bird, cats, a hamster, and a return customers. In the future, when we get a new dog, for certain, Comp Park Animal Hospital will be out veterinarian facility of choice.

    Pets Remembered Cremation Service
Pets Remembered staff were very helpful, answered phone messages promptly and repeatedly. Very caring compassionate people. I especially like that they cremate pets singly; you can be assured to receive only your pet's cremains, not comingled. I highly recommend and would use them again.

Blue Skies Pet Euthanasia and Hospice Service
I can never thank Dr. Tracy Corcoran enough for her expert care and compassion to Jackson and our family. From the time I reached her by phone on that anguished day, asking for help, I began to feel better. She was able to come promptly to our home and put our Jackson to sleep. She very clearly explained the whole process and gently cared for us, along with Jackson. She gave us all the time we needed to say good-bye, and supported us during our acute grief. She transported Jackson's body (at our request) to Pets Remembered for individual cremation. We are intensely grateful for her guidance and expert care through this whole process .

    WOODBURY ANIMAL HOSPITAL
The veterinarian is also a friend, but I don't think we get any specials deals -- though sometimes the dogs get their shots in the kids' schools' parking lot. He's seen the dogs over there. He just open the back door of the car and give the dogs a little poke. It's very funny. Dr. Tim McConville is our vet there. I would definitely say I think they do a good job. I would say -- I didn't do any price comparisons because we got referred to them through friends or at school through a person I knew -- but I would I would say they are all As for professionalism and quality and all that sort of thing. The price is reasonable.

    Whiskers To Tails Petsitting
Wonderful! My cats were so well cared for by Mike. I came home to find everyone looking shiny from the brushing Mike gave them each day. Our older cat had a spring in his step from all of the time Mike spent playing with him and I think all of the cats wished we would leave town again soon!

Animal Inn Pet Resort & Spa
Our experience boarding our cat was okay. With the dogs, they overcharge. While other places their nightly rate includes leaving the kennel for play time, here they charge quite a bit extra. Their outdoor play area has nothing interesting for dogs to explore, just an open grassy area. One of our dogs came back to us with a vocal injury and his recovery took days. The staff seem caring, but no more than other places we've used. Because of all the hidden expenses, we won't be using them again.

    Dig It Dog Grooming
I have a rescue dog. He had never been groomed before. They had a good rating on Angie's List. That's why I went to them. My dog is really hard to groom. The girl - her name was April - did a fantastic job, better than the first time he went. He was real wiggly and he doesn't like his face groomed. I think she had a hard time with him, but he looked so nice after he was done. She did the best job of all, this one girl. The second time I went, I called and it seemed like they didn't have a receptionist to answer the phone. It sounded like a groomer that was in the middle of something because they seemed a little bit off. When I showed up, it was early in the morning. I was a little taken aback because she wasn't as friendly and nice as the first girl I had. She was in the middle of a grooming. It seemed like they were just so busy. I didn't feel like I was treated the greatest. I hate to say anything bad about her, because she did such a good job, but she just grabbed my dog really quick and threw him in a kennel. It kind of bothered me a little bit because he is a rescue and he came from a really bad situation and he is afraid of people and other dogs. He is not used to grooming. He was scared going over there to begin with. I usually have someone drive me now because he throws up in the car and he gets all worked up. She wasn't horrible, but she was a little aloof type. They're so busy, they really need a receptionist, that isn't doing dog grooming. It was good, but it wasn't excellent. I think they could do better. I was treated like they were in real hurry and like I was bothering them and I didn't like that. It was just the mood, it was end of the week. It was a Sunday morning, really early. Nobody really wanted to be there and they were really busy. They had several groomers and a lot of patients going. So, I don't think the groomers should have to man the desk either and leave their dogs on the table.

    Dig It Dog Grooming
More grooming was involved. He had really long hair. It was excellent. They had one of their senior groomers attend to me because I called ahead of time and told them the situation. It was a 14-year experienced groomer because it was a rescue that came from a horrid situation. The dog was extremely scared. It was a little dog and just was not socialized at all. The person was so nice. The thing that stood out to me was the girl who I talked to, who was going to do my dog. She knew that he came from a really bad situation and it was his first time. She was just so nice and she told me she gave the dog little breaks in between grooming because the dog was so stressed. Several little breaks and let him walk around and stuff before she would resume grooming again. She was just so sweet and nice. She had a little bit of trouble grooming his face. He didn't like it. She did her best and he looked really nice. She was just so nice. They did have a receptionist. So the receptionist and the groomer were there to greet me and take the dog.

Como Park Animal Hospital & AfterHours Veterinary
I have always received excellent service at Como Park Animal Hospital and After Hours Vet Care. As my cat aged, he experienced several health issues and the vets and techs were always excellent -- lots of follow up and open with pros, cons, and costs of various treatments for the cat. They diagnosed my cat's diabetes in 2014. While I did a lot to educate myself on feline diabetes, they were very patient, collaborative, and supportive and I was able to monitor my cat's blood glucose and administer insulin -- which I only had to do for a few months. The cat is now insulin-free and diet regulated. In the end, we had to leave Como because the clinic is too far away from our home to transport an elderly, infirm cat. They were understanding about the situation and transferred his records to his new vet clinic quickly and efficiently. If I ever have another pet, Como Park will be our vet. I love the place.

    Rice Pet Clinic
I would use them in the future. Nothing in particular stood out. They seemed to be concerned about our pet. They seemed to treat us as if they know us even though they see lots of pets throughout the year. He remembers our dog. He knows our dog fairly well then because of that.
